Ammunition is kept on the opposite side from the guns, though a sufficient amount to keep the aircraft firing the howitzers is kept on the with the guns.
40mm, 20mm, and GAU-19s are fed via disintegrating belt feed to the guns from their ammo stores. 20mm and 40mm revolver cannons.

So, any suggestions for anything to change?

You said that you have a crew of twenty, but your explanation in parentheses only has 18. :)

(OOC: I thought about doing somethingsimilar to this but..figured it'd be too out there. To see it done..and on something of larger scale...christ...this beast'll be interesting.)

Suggestions would be a little bit more detail...write out some of the conversions made, any other additional systems (Particularly defenses...this thing'll need them). Talk about placement of weapons of not actually having a diagram to help show. This thing will have to of gone through a number of changes so...yub.

If Doom's got prod rights, I'm assuming all members of CAD do as well. As for a price, I'd say around 5 billion apiece. It may seem expensive, but some of the systems and munitions carries a pretty nice cost. You also may want to make munition packages. Their prices can depend on what's in them and how much. All in all, 10/10

Five billion? What you smoking? I'd say around thirty mil, little cheaper than a raptor.

Ditch the miniguns, they require you to come in too low for your aircraft to be safe and they have a nasty habit of managing not to destroy trucks (hence why they gradually disappeared from the AC130 during veitnam). They are great for small gunships like the AC-47 or helicopter platforms such as the ACH-47 but useless on anythign bigger.
You could repalce them with GAU-19s (as is happening to soem of the AC-47s that are soldiering on) a C5 woudl need to fly too high even for them.

Soem detaisl on exactly what type of guns we are talking about would help, are the 20mm guns simple blow back operated cannons or soemthign more modern such as the vulcan or a revolver gun?
