Sydney - In an unsurprising move, the Tyrandis Police Department today launched a massive sting operation against suicidal groups, in accordance with Senatorial Directive 781, which calls for the "immediate termination of all persons who espouse self-mutilation."

SWAT teams armed with MP-7 SMGs, Benelli shotguns and M-4 carbines stormed through the streets, schools and alleys, rounding up anyone dressed in typical "goth" or "emo" clothing.

IBI (Imperial Bureau of Investigation) agents seized the membership rolls of groups that emphasize death, and then went house-by-house, taking the condemned at gunpoint.

The operation officially ceased at 1650 Tyrandis Standard Time, although vigilant citizens continued to haul in the suicidal freaks.

Currently, the Senate is debating whether annihilation or deportation of the sad wastes of humanity is more appropriate.

There are an estimated 1.5 million persons being held by the TPD at this time; TNS inquiries into their condition were rebuked.

Exetonia considers this move highly irrational but accepts a nation sovereign right to do so. If they are deported we would gladly take them under our wing.

Notwquiteaplace finds this attitude disgusting. We will take them ourselves, though you should check which ones are just a phase, which ones are depressed on a temporary basis and which are properly depressed.

Emo kids are not depressed, they are just pretty boys who are unable to appreciate the highs of their love life (or at least thats what emo seems to be). Secondly, not all depressives self mutilate (some dont get that low and some lack the self esteem to even think they can manage that), how do you intend to tell these apart. Finnally acting like this and taking friends from people will just make the youth feel more powerless, and so more will become like this.

We, like other nations, would though be willing to accept these people into our lands, help these people unlike the government that's currently holding them.

If they wish to wander mindlessly into labelism, as Preps, Punks and the myriad of other false-orders do, then they have that right. The Government of Foolish Pesants finds this new tactic employed by the Nation of Tyrandis to be unjust. Indeed, given the chance and the right incentive they would probably kill themselves due to their crippling depression. Whilst we can appreciate that this would not be the most efficient way of dealing with this problem, there are better ways of dealing with such deviants. We would recommend that you offer them a chance at a better way of living; and if they refuse the you should grant them what their poor poetry asks for. We feel that most will see the error of their ways an see their devotion to Hot Topic clothing for what it truly is, if this is untrue then there is nothing else you can do.

Notquiteaplace will not oppress anyone for how they dress. How they act is another issue. Rude boys are just those who dress in a certain way and enjoy certain hobbies. They are fine. We have an issue with the criminal element among these. those who intimidate other members of society. In notquiteaplace they are known as chavscum. Just these elements however, not all rudeboys. We do not oppress these people, they get a fair trial and a prison system that rehabilitates over punishing.

We even try to educate them in prison. they couldnt ask for a fairer treatment.
