After quite some time under the rule of current Credonian President Alexander Nicolas Sutton, he has instituted for the first time since returning the nation to a full democracy, national elections in which the citizens may once again select their leaders. The candidates are as follows:

Alexander Nicolas Sutton
Occupation: Current President; Law Enforcement; Central Intelligence
Political Party: Independent
Information: Believes in a strong and superior military, little government intervention in the lives of the citizens, and strong involvement within the international community. He plans to expand and strengthen Credonia's military, establish more military bases abroad, strengthen ties with friends and allies, and establish more friendships and alliances with other nations of the world. He also plans to become even more involved in world affairs, meaning the more widespread use of Credonian military forces worldwide.


Kaimoni .A. Sutton
Occupation: Former President; Politician
Political Party: Democratic
Information: During his first and second term as president, he lef Credonia to the most prosporus time in the nations history. Under his leadership, he established Credonia as one of the most military powerful nations in the world and one of the most internationally supported nations in the world. He proposes to restore Credonia's reputation within the international community as it were before his son Alexander seized office and proclaimed himself Emperor of Credonia. He supports small government and expanded civil and commercial freedoms, lower taxes, the increase of the minimum wage, free universal health care and education (Secondary school to college), and a strong DEFENSIVE military that will be used in the defense of Credonia and nations that request Credonia's help and assistance. K. Sutton also supports sending humanitarian aid to nations who need and WANT such aid.

Mid Election Update

It seems Presidential Candidate Kaimoni Sutton continues to hold a solid lead over President Alexander Sutton. When interviewed by the CNN (Credonian News Network) today, Kaimoni stated: "My son has done a semi-decent job in office, but when its time to go, its time to go, and its now time for him to go and for me to get back into office so I can restore this nation to the level it was prior to my assasination."

OOC: For those of you who didnt know, Terrorists assassinated Kaimoin Sutton and his first family because of his strong anti-terrorism stance and his leading role in the war on terror. He won the hearts and minds of all nations and their soldiers and fought a very strong united front against MULTIPLE terrorist organizations which have been banished after being defeated by Credonia and her allies in a very very long war spaning the length of at LEAST 5-6 rl months, non stop. K. Sutton was cloned though some time ago.

With a popular majority vote of 16-12, Kaimoni Sutton is now proclaimed President of the United States of Credonia

Not necessarily. They are father and son BUT, they have two different views on how to run Credonia and how to conduct foreign policy. One is more of the favorable, more likeable, more agreeable type, while the other (the son) is the more forceful and is at lot more of a hardliner than his father, tho his father is somewhat of a hardliner himself, but not to the extreme as Alexander. Alexander would use nuclear weapons to back himself up, Kaimoni would not.
