It turns out that my public is even more anti-Communist than I thought. So, while I am, for all intents and purposes, readopting the old system, I will remain in COMECON, to reach out to my brother nations. Also, I will now sign trade deals and the like with the communist/socialist bloc, and, formalize diplomatic relations. Fascism with a human face, if you will.

Liberty trumps dictatorship everytime - it is the destiny of all Totalitarian styled governments to fall to the people whom governments purpose is to serve, not to inslave.
Hedgemony and communism works in theory but only if the leader has the intelligence to involve the peoples concerns and to fight for the people. But without representatives with some authority the leader always falls into cooruption and selfinterest.
