President Mills, on national TV earlier today said, "We did not want this war but we will fight it. We will not stand for foreign nations trying to influence the actions of this nation. We will not stand for a foreign nation agreeing to harbor the scum that betrayed our country and killed over 20,000 of our citizens. We hope other nations will see the light and join us in this fight, but we are more then willing to fight alone for what is right. We will accept nothing but victory in this battle. May God continue to bless our nation, our troops, and our brave citizens." The Department of Defense is mobilizing a large number of troops, ships, and planes. We have not gotten an exact number of troops yet, but hope to soon. In a related matter, 45 more left wing terrorists were executed this morning, bringing the full total of those executed to over 500 since the start of the week.

We did not start this war. Random Kingdom said if we executed any more terrorists it would be considered an act of war. We did what we have every right to do, and executed the terrorists. The USN will not be blackmailed by a nation which says it will harbor terrorist, treasonous scum.

As we have said, we have no plans of stopping our invasion. The Random Kingdom must be held accountable for its actions. We will not tolerate any nation that harbors terrorists which have killed USN citizens. The only thing that would stop our fleet is an unconditional surrender from Random Kingdom.

The Imperial fleets had made their journey, moving from station in the Black Sea to the clear blue waters of The RK. The first ships cut through the calm seas, approaching RK territorial waters.

In the skies 12 GIU-1 "Hawk" ASW warfare aircraft cruised high above the waves, their sonars scanning the seas for the submerged enemy fleet. GIH-17 ASW helicopters also flew ahead of the fleet, scanning for the Tekanian submarines.

Deep in the shoobooshabaan jungles, the silo doors slid open, and the tips of warheads appeared. beneath the waves of the Black Sea, Imperial SSBNs moved to launch depth. If there was a nuclear shootout, The Empire would be ready to reciprocate MAD.

In the cockpit of a GIU-1, a loud ping echoed. A blip appeared on the sonar screen.

The doors in the belly of the plane opened, and the charge fell towards the glistening sea below. A one megaton warhead, it was bound to kill whatever was beneath that sea.

The charge splashed intot he water, and sank to the appropriate depth, an estimate, but with that payload accuracy was no worry.

The water flashed white, and a mountain of liquid went up intot he sky, accompanied by an enormous roar.

Across the sea, 12 other similar mountains appeared, as the GIU-1s found their targets.

Captain: Ok, instruct the aircraft carriers to send up 3 F-15s each to patrol the waters till we decided what action to take.
Sailor: Aye, sir.

And within half an hour 9 USN Republic F-15s were patrolling RK waters, looking for a target.

The water seemed to part as the ships moved forward. Carriers, battleships, destroyers, and more. A small chunk of the Borman navy.

Within 10 minutes of the blast, a massive oil slick can be seen rising from a single blast point....

Shortly thereafter, about 5 largish blue-grey spheres break surface in varying areas.... Bleeps going out as the massive air-search radars in the spheres search for airborne targets.... Getting sucessful returns, within moments near two of the spheres 4 massive canister breaches the surface, and immediately blow open, 2 SAM missiles each propelling out of canisters.... aquiring on airtargets in the region. The other three continue to breach finally revealing the massive black hulls of the Tekanian SSGBNX's. The massive guns lifting from their stows and tracking on bearing to the oncoming fleets... 6 15 inchers on each of the three vessels..... start firing barrages of 15 inch DU coated shells.... while the massive spheres begin putting out broadband radio static to confuse enemy radar and disrupt communications. surrounding the massive SSGBNX's 7 of the Virginia SSN's and 2 Flight 4 LA SSN's come to periscope depth, and begin to retrieve telemetry from the SSBGNX's on GE's battlegroup.... each SSN fires a single UGM-84A Harpoon ASM at various targets in the enemy fleet.

The Pilot of the USN Republic Guard F-15 never saw it coming. One of the SAM missiles had locked onto him and just ran into the back of his jet, sending him and his plane (both in pieces) to the sea below. The other 8 Jets patrolling the airspace flew in different directions looking for the ship that had launched the missle which had killed their fellow pilot. One pilot saw the shape traveling on the water below and locked one of his four missiles, attachted to his wing, on the shape. After making sure that this was indeed not a USN ship or a ship of an allied nation the pilot launched the missle and flew his jet as fast as possible back to the aircraft carrier he had launche from earlier.

The missile slams into the sphere, shattering it, the resultant explosion tearing through parts of the fairwater, and cracking and flooding the helo hanger in the aft portion of the fairwater on the SSBGNX. Suddenly the vessels 80,000 ton bulk pops to the surface, airbubbles comeing from underneath its hull... it's ballast tanks blown by HP air. Within moments crewmen scramble on deck, liftin hatches at various points, other crew members are hauling out PHALANX units and attacking them to mount points that were located under these hatches. As each unit is emplaced and brought online, they being spinning at any target that moves in the air (including the occational seagul) firing rapid bursts of 20mm ammo....

For a moment broadband static ceases, and a transmission ensues.... "The Constitutional Republic of Tekania once again offers the settlement of these hostilities in a peaceful manner.... We respectfully request you cease and desist all hostile activities immediately, and take this conflict to the tables of diplomacy.....".... the jamming signal then kicking back in.

Of the 9 USN F-15's which had been patrolling the area, only 4 came back. The first one had been taken out by the SAM missile, and the others by the 20mm guns of the Tekenian ships.

It doesn't matter if my nation is totally and wholly destroyed, said the Prime Minister of Random Kingdom earlier today, it matters that the enemy realizes what it is doing wrong. All Random Kingdom citizens have built air-raid shelters in their back gardens, purchased gas-masks, dug trenches and are now preparing for the worst. Propoganda is at its climax, and all army recruits have been drawn back into Random Kingdom to fight off the approaching madmen. Plus, right-wingers are now being exiled or imprisoned, and 25% of the remaining population (about 10 million citizens) have joined the Voluntary Militia and are patrolling the streets of all major towns and cities.

Then at 1:15 am Eastern USN Time, the 5 missiles were launched. At the same moment 20 USN Republic F-15s were taking off from aircraft carriers in RK waters. Their targets were buildings where propaganda was produced and military installations.

Flight 227 was a Squadron of 12 Sethian Sukhoi-37 on standard anti enemy air incursion patrol over sethesh. It was to be forwarded immediately to the combat zone to act as initial Air defense forces.

Meanwhile air defenses where set up all over sethesh, the army was alerted and the military readiness brought up to a level 2 alert.

Meanwhile, the vast Momanguise fleet was approaching Random Kingdoms biggest port. The sea, black with the endless tide of ships lapped against the shore, as unstoppable as the tide, the assistance was coming.

In response to inteliigence received security has been stepped up in the USN. 70% of the population is now in secure bomb shelters, and the remaining 30% has been drafted and is now defending their nation. Anti Aircraft weapons are pointed towards the sky waiting for anything. Ships are also patrolling USN waters, with orders to sink on spot any ship that does not belong to an ally.

Back in RK Waters, Captain Murphy saw a force of Momanguise ships with aid for their enemy.

Sailor: Should we sink them sir?
Captain: Aye, take out the largest ships.
Sailor: Yes, sir.

And within minutes of that being said the guns of the USN Battleships opened on the largest Momanguise ships.

There was a crash of ordanance as the ships of the smaller USN navy fired, unprovoked, upon the MNF. Onboard, alarms flashed and sounded as the ratings rushed to the 30 inch guns of the flagship, TPS Invincible, as the Admiral gave the order to return fire.

The battleships, led by the monolithic TPS Storm led out a thundering broadside as the super caliber shells rained down upon the enemy vessels. Missiles were prepared for the time when they closed to close quarters, and men clutched rosarys as they prayed to God.

Meanwhile, beneath the waves, the submarines stole along like panthers, ghosts of the water. Closer than their more direct counter parts, they fired salvo after salvo of torpedeos against the exposed underbelly of the USN ships.

The USN Blair , a battleship, never saw the torperdo coming. Being the closest to the forces of Momanguise it took the worst beating. It quickly began to sink as water poured into the many holes caused by the enemy. Within 15 minutes it was gone along with 350 of its men. The 400 survivors dotted the water, waiting to be saved. Captain Murphy ordered depth charges to be thrown to sink the submarines.

The SU-37 Berkuts fired there missiles at appropriate moments to strike the incoming F-15s.

Immediatly 3 of the planes fell out of the sky. The other 17 were ordered to engage the enemy. All 17 fired hellfire missiles on the planes which had attacked them. As they did, the 5 missiles from the USN hit their targets in the RK.

Meanwhile, the main body of the navy continued to close quarters. On board, every man was at his post, and every gun available was being fired. Out at sea, where the USN navy was being battered by the shells and submarines, a fantastic explosion lit the night air as a huge Battleship took a direct hit to the engines. Slowly, gracefully, it began to sink beneath the waves. Onboard, there were great crys of joy and jubilation, Admiral Fenet even thourght he heard a man shout huzzar. But his mind was on the drowning men, dying sailors, akin with himself.

Sentimentality was playing a tiny part in this battle, however. The vessels were now close enough for effective missile coverage, and for a single moment the great thunder of the heavy guns ceased. It was replaced by a sinister whistle, as from the decks and gun holes of almost every fighting ship, missiles soared into the sky. It was an awesome sight, hundereds, possibly thousands of projectiles, hurtling through the war torn sky towards the enemy. On board the Storm, a sailor dropped his hat in prayer.

Sweet mother of Jesus, he whispered, this is death incarnate.

It was a very different story beneath the battle, as the subarines were battered by a rain of depth charges. Not as accurate as they would have been had the submarines been directly under their targets, they still rained death upon the crews. One, TPS Trident suffered a direct hit. As a fireless explosion shook the ocean floor, all fifteen souls aboard were lost instantly. The surving Submarines continued to take plucky shots at the nether regions of the great ships above.

Above and below the waves, death reaped a fruitful harvest.

As the battlefleet steamed frantically to get on-station and meet the threat of the enemy, its' carrier forces were already moving for action.

High above the fleet, a pair of An-71M carrier AWACS orbited, moving slowly in circles in a similar manner to their rotodomes. The AWACS were each being guarded by Yak-42 carrier-based fighters. The Yak-42 was a curious design, able to perform V/STOLs but at the same time able to break mach one comfortably, thanks to the D-30F6M turbofan nestled in its' slender fuselage.

An operator on the AWACS noted what appeared to be a group of aircraft at the edge of its' 300-mile detection range. The AWACS' commander ordered four Su-33Bs into the area. The flight, Blue 3, set off at 700 knots towards where the small air battle was taking place.

Captain Murphy was heard saying, "My God...what has happened? Where are our allies!?" He slammed the door of his cabin as the damage reports came in.

Captain: That's it...we can not watch as more of our countrymen die! Order an immediate retreat of all USN ships from RK waters....or whatever is left of them. Also send a message to home, we need more ships and troops!
Sailor: But what about our men, sir? The ones who escpaed the sinking ships? Are we going to save them?
Captain: It is to much of a risk, we can not lose any more ships or men. Let's hope they can swim, or are spared the humiliation of being a POW and drown.

Within moments the guns of the remaining ships silenced and began speeding back towards international waters, this war would not be one where the Navy played an important role.

Meanwhile, some 160 miles to the north, a long column of bulbous freight aircraft cruised serenely in the blue skies. This was the 30th Airborne, now en route for the Random Kingdom. The aircrews were nervous. They kept an eye on their RWRs continually, for they were unprotected, and if attacked all they could do was scream for help and try to run away.

Below them, the large fleet, which had been heading for the RK, now made a swift turn to 250 degrees, accelerating to 33 knots as it made to close with the USN forces in the area. The force had all it needed: powerful air support, a large number of cruise missiles and a fantastic number of heavy guns.

But those guns were the last offense system for each ship. First was the cruise missiles. On the carrier's flightdeck, a pair of Tupolev "Reys" UAVs were readying for take-off. Powered by small jets, they had good speed and long endurance, and were an ideal choice for fleet scouting. The two UAVs were wheeled out to the stern of the flightdeck, and then, with a hiss of air, they launched themselves upwards a few feet. Their horizontal engines kicked in, and the UAVs hummed off towards the USN fleet, unaware that it was now retreating, to find targeting information for the force's missiles.

With the news of the UNC naval retreat, Cargo planes in sethesh were loaded with troops and equipment totallying One Mechanised Infantry Division

A couple hours later, the first 2000 Sethesh Troops had arrived and where securing the RK capital from looting. On arrival the forces immediately whisked away the RK royal family and cabinet to a cargo plane, whether they agreed with being moved or not, and where taken back to a nuclear bunker in Sethesh where they could command there forces from. It was imperative the RK goverment remained intact.

The news of the aparant victory spread like wildfire, the celebrations began as the sailors, ignoring authority for once took swigs of brandy. Admiral Fenet himself took a long drink of Cognac, his nerves settled. Seated around him were the Captain Majors of the fleet, and with ultimate victory in mind he gave his orders.

We have won a great victory here today. However an enemy is not defeated until he is truely vanquished, and though I am at pains to attack an openent once he has turned his back I can see how if allowed to survive this enemy fleet will cause great civilian loss of life.

Great streams of jets screamed into the sky, before chasing the enemy until they were ready to unleash their anti-ship missiles upon the Carriers. The Submarines too, fired the last of their torpeodos at the retreating enemy ships.

An operator peered at the screen from the UAV's camera. She cursed, playing with the image controls, and then here eyes went wide.
"Captain! Captain!!" she yelled, as her superior came jogging over. He murmured placatory words, but these only made her more agitated. Finally, she jabbed at the screen angrily.
"LOOK! That's the USN fleet! Look at it! Two carriers, and there are the smaller ships! You can see the smoke!"
At that moment, the image winked out as the UAV was shot down by a USN missile. But the damage had been done. The UAVs had provided - just - enough information for a cruise missile strike to be authorised. Seven minutes later, with a mighty roar that left a cloud of greyish-white smog around the formation, 100 SS-N-19 missiles asceded into the morning sky and began to hurtle downrange towards the USN fleet, while behind them, the battleships assumed a line formation. Leaving the carrier and support ships behind, guarded by 6 destroyers, the rest of the group steamed towards the USN forces in a long line, the command ship at the centre, two cruisers off her bows.

Captain Murphy watched as his two aircraft carriers slowly dissolved below the surface. He immediatly ordered all USN ships to send out lifeboats to save what remained of the crews.

Air raid sirens ripped through the empty streets of New Nick City. Most citizens were safely below ground in bomb shelters. Immediatly orders were sent through the city, any aircraft seen above the city was to be shot down. The Senate had been evacuated to a neutral nation earlier, as much of the government had been.

POW's: Roughly 700 USN Armed Forces Members

Around 700 sailors and soldiers were picked alive from the water. The corpses of the dead were left, bobbing in a feeble imitation of life in the lapping waves.

The 4 squadrons (or what's left of them) finally blasted their way through the USN barrier and continued on their journey. The secret agents are already intercepting radio, telephone and telegram messages from the USN, and are getting closer to uncovering the mystery prison island.

The nation of DontPissUsOff had just attacked what remained of the retreating fleet. 3 of the 5 battleships quickly sunk, and 1 destroyer was also sunk. All across sethesh

All across sethesh Tu-160 bombers where being loaded with heavy ordnance, Sethian command staked alot in this, and expect to lose some aircraft, but they would be replaced in the Military overhaul soon to occur.

After a long time of preparation, the TU-160 took off, and lined up in bombing columns, 100 aircraft, this raid was to cost sethesh atleast 2billion in preparation anf ammunition, but it would spell the end of the USN Capital.

The bombers headed fast towards the city of new nick, knowing that atleast 1/4 of the aircraft probably would not return. and began laying down there ordnance on the Industrial, Civillian and Comercial centers of the city. With them were Several smaller Aircraft, carrying Bunker Buster type bombs, to crack open the larger Bomb shelters and govermental bunkers.

The capital city went up in flames, but the USN would not accept defeat so easily. Anti-Aircraft guns lit the sky with flames. 20 F-15s were quickly launched from a surrounding airbase, and sent after the planes.

The DPUO Admiral and Admiral Fenet had had long talks regarding the surrender, and it was agreed that the MNF should take the surrender and assume responsibility for the P.O.W's and the surviving ships. A single cruiser pulled alongside what was now the USN flagship, whilst radioing to the enemy Admiral.

The Alexian Military Submarines begin attacking Random Kingdoms largest southern(do you have a southern port,are you landlokced?please tell me if I say something wrong) port and some small fishing villages,concentrating on military resitance.Alexian Air force also give air support,attacking all Random Kingdom Military personel that it can,and doing tactical strikes and bombing absolutly everywhere it can.Battleships then move in for attack(provided they are able),and Alexian Ground forces will be deployed as soon as possible,split between the cities we are trying to take.

IC: Prime Minister Matthew Windsor has personally asked the Ministry of PR to start advertising conscription. Army generals walk the streets conscribing anyone who looks over 19. Citizens in the south have begun building walls to keep the navy out. Random Kingdom is now considering evacuating the vast majority of unconscribed men to the north.

All airfields and airbases in Random Kingdom have been allocated to the Sethian Air Force. Because of that and the Alexian invasion in the south, only trains remain as a method of transport. Citizens are beginning to fear for their lives.

As the Alexian submarine launched their missiles towards Random kingdom's previously peaceful shores, the missiles were detected on DPUO radars. Having verified that the missiles were not moving towards them, Admiral Wallace ordered four Ka-27B ASW helicopters to investigate.

In (very damaged) Presidential Bunker below NNC:

Mills: Do you have a plan ready yet for our attack?
Advisor: Yes, sir. It will be an air attack, nothing more.
Mills: What are the exact numbers?
Advisor: We are going to launch roughly 90 Tomahawk USN Republic Missiles from locations around the nation at the RK. We are also sending an armada of 50 B-2 Spirit Bombers, each will be dropping roughly 1000 pounds of explosives, on targets across the RK.
Mills: Sounds great. Do we have any casuality estimates?
Advisor: We think 40% of the Bombers will not be making it home. The pilots have been advised to go on Kamikaze missions if it is certain their planes are going to crash anyways.
Mills: Desperate times...call for desperate measures I guess. Ok, make it happen.
Advisor: Yes sir.

At 6:00 am Eastern USN Time 50 B-2 Spirit Bombers took off from locations around the USN and at 6:15 am 90 Tomahawk missiles were launched. The missiles are expected to hit their targets within half an hour and the bombers in 45 minutes

Random Kingdom's Air Squadron are within 0.5km range of the prison island of San Nicholae. Further espionage has revealed that left-wing prisoners are also kept here. Fort Nicholae have set up SAM batteries (from New Nick City) to blast the Air Squadron out of the sky, but Agent 700, a hardened double agent in the capital, claims that he 'fixed' the SAM batteries to lower their accuracy. Air Squadron captain Clark Cookson is forced to make a decision - should he trust 700, who has a reputation for switching sides in battle? Air Squadron prepare for the worst, as Fort Nicholae looms.

"Air action port! Air warning red, action port!" came the yell from an officer of the watch as he plotted multiple contacts on the Thunder's master radar display. Admiral Wallace scowled, and drained his mug of tea.
"All ships turn to unmask batteries. Engage missiles."

At the receipt of this order, the ships in the formation simply switched their air-defences into automatic mode. Even though the missiles were not attacking their group, they were attacking RK, and they could after all be shot down. SAMs began to leave the warships, giving chase to the Tomahawks.

Fort Nickel has been cleared by Earth Squadron, and no intelligence was gathered. Fire Squadron spies overhear a conversation recorded by them in the damaged Presidential Bunker and have warned the Prime Minister of Random Kingdom of the coming air raid. He has told his peoples to 'dig for victory' - bunkers the size of football pitches have been built. The Prime Minister has forbidden people from leaving the bunkers, even if the food supplies run out or the uncommon geckos need walking, and he himself has taken refuge in an abandoned coal mine in the north.

As it became evident that the USN forces were launching airial attacks on the RK mainland, the naval began firing cruise missiles at confirmed air fields inside of USN. Three hundred a fourty were fired, the vapour trails spiralling miles into the air.

General Adam Bingsley, the commander of the prison, was ready for battle. The 7,000 USN Republic Guards guarding the prison were more then ready to fend off an attack. Anti-Aircraft Guns were poised and ready to fire, and the prison had just received a shipment of RPG's, perfect for shooting almost anything out of the sky. They were not going to let these terrorists/traitor scum be "liberated" by RK.

Agent 700's claim is true; the SAMs fired swerve to the left and hit two insignificant buildings on the USN mainland. The operators are astonished. Some of the planes are hit by RPGs and fall into the ocean. Others are hit by AA fire and join the others at the bottom of the ocean. Out of the 5 airplanes of 20 recruits, only 1 lands safely on the beach of San Nicholae. After the battle that ensues, only 2 spies, 2 volunteers and 3 recruits survive. However, the side they fought was only a small percentage of the whole guard. Word reaches the Earth and Water Squadrons, who decide to help the remaining Air Squadroneers.

Agent 700's claim is true; the SAMs fired swerve to the left and hit two insignificant buildings on the USN mainland. The guards, taken aback, run for their lives into the fortress. The Air Squadron lands safely on the beaches of San Nicholae and begin searching for an unguarded entrance into the prison. That hour, 2 left-wingers were executed. Time is running out for Air Squadron.

One Tekanian SSBGNX begins to limp from the battlefield, smoke still belching from the tatered remains of its radar sphere.

Three of the SSBGNX's are moved into defensive positions near RK's southern port, along with, presumably, several of the SSN's (specifically 7 of the remaining 18 Flight 4 LA class SSN's and 5 of the Virginia SSN's).

The rest of the SSBGNX's and SSN's (10 SSBGNX's, 11 LA's and 5 VA's) move out towards a group of 10 massive 110,000 ton ocean liners, 8 LHA's, and 15 container ships flying Tekanian flags, that are approaching RK territorial waters.

The Constitutional Republic of Tekania is prepared to commit 4 million militia troops for the defense of RK homeland. We wish permission to land, at present, 110,000 troops for the purpose of defense. 200 M2A2 tanks, 130 Patriot batteries. In addition, we would like to request space to land, and operate 500 Black Widow II stealth fighters.

...and we have some bad news. It seems that the Air Squadron, or what is left of it, has been captured by USN troops. All of the other 3 Random Kingdom squadrons, or what's left of them, have changed course to the island of San Nicholae. They aren't very hopeful, and most are writing their Last Will and Testaments on board. The USN has clearly instilled fear into RK's rather small military base. Ordinary Random Kingdom citizens are sure that they have enough military experience to join the squadrons on their mission, and are pleading the owners of the airbases to allow them to board. It seems that USN has the advantage here, we'll keep you informed. In other news today, ...

Guarded by the cruisers and destroyers, and with an aircraft carrier present nearby, the ships woudl keep up thewir punding 'til there was nothing left to resist, then leave the area, so that anyone wishing to undertake amphibious operations could begin to do so.

We need your help in storming the Fortress at San Nicholae. The presence of guards is too much for Random Kingdom alone. Make saving the prisoners of San Nicholae your top priority. Oh, and beware the landmines.

A regiment of Su-33Bs (24 aircraft) loaded with AS-12 ARMs and Kh-14D IR-guided missiles, plus two R-73 missiles per aircraft, has been ordered to attack the USN indistriminately to suppress remaining anti-air defences and destroy enemy armour and ground units.

At 17 kilometres from the shore, the ships slowed down, eventually coming to a halt, turning their broadsides onto the shoreline. The great turrets with their gleaming guns turned slowly to port, rose and fell as the range to USN shore defences (OOC: I assume there are some, heh) was proivided to the gun control computers. Then, with a mighty crash that deafened the ears of their crews, fifty-seven heavy guns loosed their first shells onto the USN.

The weak shore defences were easily taken out by the heavy weapons of the battleships, 50 soldiers were killed and 100 more were sent running for cover. It was ordered that 32 F-15s be scrambled to attack the DPUO forces. What remained of the shore defences also opened fire, firing 5 small missiles at the DPUO ships. A small fleet of 4 battleships and 6 destroyers was ordered to begin preparing to leave from a small harbor, around 10kms down the shore from where DPUO was attacking. The first wave of the F-15's, 16 jets, began approaching the DPUO ships and prepared to drop their deadly cargo.

Once again, these are not political prisoners! They are members of a left wing terrorist group which has attacked this nation in the past and has been plotting to overthrow this government. As a symbol of goodwill we will release around 2/3rd of the prisoners, they will be exiled from our nation. The other 1/3rd will stay in prison, as they are all suspected of being directly involved with the attack on our nation that occurred last month. They will receive trials, once this war ends and our justice system and our government is more stable. The executions will stop.

The 16 F-15s were swiftly plotted on the long-range air-search radars and AWACS systems orbiting over the group. Four Su-33Bs were vectored to intercept, and the ships below launched a volley of 20 SA-N-6 SAMs towards the fighters. Meanwhile, the AWACS had also picked up the incoming battleships. Well within range of the heavy guns of their opponents, the DPUO battleships hastily disengaged from the shore defences, turning their turrets to bear on the direction from which the enemy would come. In a few precious minutes, the battleships formed a wall of heavy guns, crossing the T of the incoming USN ships, and waited.

In other news in Random Kingdom, the Ministry of Trade and Commerce, together with the Ministry of PR, have opened the gates to trade between RK and USN. Airlines in RK have connected their routes to NNC International, as well as other airports in the USN. Trade embargoes and the like have been ceremonially lifted, and rail company Random Rail is raising money to lay rail overseas. This, however, is unlikely due to the fragile economy of RK.

The Alexian Empire will not withdraw the naval presence until we have come to some sort of agreement.This however,is not meant to be an act of aggression.It is no longer a blockade,and ships will be allowed to pass through in and out,(after being inspected of course.)We do intend to remove the presence once we have come to an agreement.Please do not let this hamper the peace talks.

IC:We ask that the weapons be aloud to be kept on the plane,and that the bodyguards may stay on the plane with them.The diplomats will also live on the plane while not residing in the compound.In addition we ask that the bodyguards be allowed to acompany the diplomats,armed,while not inside the compound.

We have no intention of having bodyguards,armed or otherwise,inside the compound.We await your reply.

That would be acceptable. It is what the other delegates did.
