With the tragic death of Her Imperial Majesty, the empress consort, Marijke yesterday in Tharra, concerns over dynastic problems have surfaced.

The Empress, formally known as "Her Royal Highness Princess Marijke of (former) Paxamica", died soon after giving birth to a stillborn son, from complications. This was a hard truth for a nation that has just celebrated the glorious coronation of its 15th emperor: Alexander II.

The funeral was duly observed today, and the empress lay in state, as befit her rank, in the Chapel Imperial, in the palace of Corva (the capital). Several hours ago she was entombed in the imperial crypt.

This has caused some concern, for Alexander II is childless, after less than a year of marriage (he is seventeen). And so, he has issued an announcement:

---IMPERIAL MARRIAGE PROPOSAL---

We, Alexander II, of all Tharra emperor, etc. do ask the honored royal leaders of other nations for a bride. With the tragic death of the empress, the position is opened for the dynasty's sake. However, the prosepective bride must:

1. Be of royal or noble rank, at least for five generations back
2. Be of childbearing age (15-21)
3. And bring both a dowary and alliance to the marriage bed

If any of you have a princess of these qualifications, please reply, my empire may depend upon it.
