Moontian Defence Contractors, working in cooperation with Moontian Shipbuilding Company, have completed their designs for a new fleet of ships that have shielding, the first shielded ships operated by the Moontian Defence Force. They have also upgraded the transport ships (henceforth renamed the Flaming Bolt class) to carry more cargo and shielding. Some stats are still classified.

E-M dissipators work by scattering electromagnetic radiation throughout the field around the ship, thereby reducing the amount of direct energy received and spreading the beam over a large area.
E-M field deflectors use electromagnetic fields to deflect beam, particle-based and missile weapons away from the ship, reducing the number of shots that hit.
Gravitational lensing shields utilise the curvature of space around gravitational wells to deflect missile weapons away from the ship. Beam weapons are also affected, but not by anywhere near as much as missiles.
All burst laser cannons have a power output of 320 terawatts, however, they are not used continuously for many seconds at a time.
