Hahaha, how great.

OOC: I actually did that kind of stuff as a kid. I would draw the hammer and sickle and the Anarchist's sign. Hmmm, the @ sign is a lot like the Anarchist's sign... Never noticed that... @ It's like mini Anarchist.

Hmm. I get the tone of your nation is rather militaristic? Well have i got a deal for you. I've got these awesome war beasts that use heat as a weapon and well I'd be willing to give you a discount.

You and propaganda... I used to draw pictures of houses at school... perhaps that makes me too mundane I don't know :)

Hmm.... no thanks Camel Eaters ^^ Although yes, at the age of 14 all boys are trained to use rifles, the age of 16 they must enter a Boy's Rifle Brigade until they are 18. In they don't join the Boys Rifle Brigade they join the Boys Armour Brigade where they are taught to drive outdated tanks. [T34, 55, 64] At the age of 24 all men must join the armed services for two years. If they refuse then they are denied ration cards.

That ain't communism. Communism doesn't have government since it doesn't have social classes. We of Letila would prefer it if you didn't cll yourselves communist if you aren't.

OOC: In RL, i drew Swastikas as a child. I always tried to draw the hammer and sickle, but i always screwed up so i choose something easier O_o. At first i did it because it was the Nazi sign(im anti-racist, BTW. Swastikas just look cool), but i then learned that it was ALSO a Hindu sign of good luck! Thats why i had to draw it in art class(i had a hindu art teacher).

Well, mine can't either, mostly because they're working for food in corporate sweatsho... I mean, "vocational schools." Yeah...

Only sweatshops? Mine are taken at the age of 4 to begin training as a spy, a laborer, a soldier, or another job. 17% of them are also taken to the Biolabs to be messed around with. Of course, 91% of the children die but those remaining 9% become super-soldiers. And you DONT want to screw with them. Seriously.

BTW, my children are taught how to read and write at the age of 16 months using advanced computer technology and small biological implants(only 4% of the children who get these implants die).

well seeing as i'm still at school , i'm inclined to think that my teachers are vaguely right wing, we also have a cameras and intercom , like in a 1984 type world.

i infact create fake propaganda :D hehe he , its funny if you read the underside of tables , stuff like Kaiser Peckham ( our headteachers name, in gothic writing)

I assume you realise the Hindu Swastika and the Nazi one are different ways round. I see very little Hindu objects and when I do see a swastika on one it shocks me for a second untill I realise what it is. If you were drawing ones in class and I was your teacher I would sure be scared.
Crookfur
16-10-2004, 20:15
OOC: at about 6 i think i was still drawign tractors and diggers my obseesion for tanks and planes didn't start until later and soviet and nazi symbols only ever appeared on stuff being destroyed. The influence of Commando books, victor book for boys, documentaries about the russian monsters were going to destroy the world in 30mins (ever ntoice how in the 80s all the "BIG BOOK O FACTS FOR KIDS" type things all advertised themselves with refferences to MAD? who says the west didn't go in for propaganda...) and the fact that the IRA were going to come and blow up the shopping centre next to our school (well its obvious isn't it? when you are about 8 the local shopping centre is the most important place in the universe).

IC: 14 seems a bit late for rifle work, those children who join the various "youth movements" (ie BB, scouts, giudes, cadets) in Crookfur tend to get the choice of taking some rifle instruction from the age of about 11 or 12, strarting with air rifle work (using small .177 break actions) before moving onto target rifles and pistols. The use of more serious firearms does come eventually but is less widespread than airarm instruction (it is rediculously simple to turn a church or school hall into a air rifle range).

The People's Republic of Newdoria has viewed this, erm, wonderful, propaganda and has decided to reward this child, this shining beacon of Communism, with a shipment of Newdoria's finest cookies. Also, a set of Crayons. You know, the ones with 128 different colors.

Signed,
Commisar Josef Gafencu

OC:

Swastikas? Eh, those were the first things I ever drew, oddly. I scared the wits out of my first period teacher because I drew the Battle of Britian, and the Germans weren't all on fire. Whoosh.

We just genetically screen all children at birth and take the best for recruitment into the elite "Immortals" divisions.
