Originally designed as a carrier fighter, it was tested by the US Air Force, who found it better then most of their aircraft. The US Navy and Air Force bought thousands, and they saw brutal combat with Russian-built MiGs in Vietnam. Its two General Electric engines power it to 60,000 feet at speeds of 1600 miles per hour for ranges of 13,000 miles. Carries four Sparrow and four Sidewinder air to air missiles, and has provision for a gun pod, as well as room for 12,000 pounds of bombs. It was exported to dozens of other nations, and still serves with distinction.

AK-47

This weapon says "Freedom fighter detirmined to liberate his homeland from imperialist forces." Or "Terrorist guerrilla out to kill American troops," depending on which side of the Iron Curtain you're on. At anyrate, it shoots a 7.62mm bullet up to a kilometer and a half, and is cheap and readily avaliable. Comes complete with a helmet (or Vietnamese hat, it you'd like), boots, a jacket, trousers, a belt, a canteen, and three extra drums of ammunition, because we're such nice people. Just don't shoot them at us.
Price: 500 USD.
