8:00am Eastern USN Time, Small home outside of the capitol, New Nick City:
Eight men were standing around two vans, they had just loaded the vehicles with their deadly cargos. The tallest man, Sergea Williamson, the head of a far left wing domestic terrorist group known as the Front for National Liberation (FNL), was leading the men back inside the house to go over their plan once more. As the terrorists sat around a small table, Williamson began to speak. "Our day has come. We will no longer stand up to the far right wing tyranny of our government, we will take action...today. We will drive the two vans into the city and once inside it we will seperate. Van one, the van I will be in, will go towards downtown. Our intended target is the Senate Building. The Senate is in session today so an attack on them would take out a large part of our government. If we can not reach the Senate Building we will go for any other possible target. Van two, your target is the Empire Building. We must deal a blow to the evil corporations of our nation which have done nothing but bad for this world. Security around that building isn't tight so we have little to no doubts you will be able to get there without trouble. Our plan is to have both vans explode at the same time, if possible. The prime time would be at 1:30pm, right after everyone has returned from lunch. Our mission today is to make this government no longer able to stand up and oppress the people. Even though we have to die today, we are dying for a good cause. Ok...let's suit up, get our weapons ready, and we'll leave a bit after noon."
12:30pm Eastern USN Time, Same location:
There was no turning back now, the eight men walked out the door of the small home they had been using to plan their evil deed. They said their final goodbyes and got into their vans. (4 terrorists in each van) Williamson, speaking to the driver of the second van over a small communications radio, said, "Ok, let's go." With his order the vans pulled out of the driveway and started for the unsuspecting city.
1:15 pm Eastern USN Time, Downton New Nick City:
"Van two, are you near your target yet?", asked Williamson to the driver of the second van. The terrorist responded, "We are a block away from the EB (Empire Building). Are you in position?" Williamson responded,"Yes, we can see the Senate building right now. We think 80 of the 100 Senators are in the building right now." Then both men became silent as the moment they had planned for came closer. Then the driver of the second van said, " We are in position." Williamson, in a deep and almos somber voice said, "Ok... go." And with that the driver of the second van hit the gas pedal of his van as hard as he could and drove the vehicle right through the large glass doors of the skyscraper , going about half way into the lobby. And just as people began to turn towards the sound of breaking glass the 2000 pounds of explosives in the back of the van went off. The shake could be felt 50 blocks away at the Senate Building. The majority leader, Senator Henry Wallace (of the National Party) opened his mouth but before the words could come out Williamson's van collided into the building exploding its deadly cargo. And at 1:23 and 1:24 Eastern USN time, the worst terrorist attack on the USN had just occurred.

Anchor: We are getting breaking news....horrible, shocking news...from New Nick City. It appears a group of terrorists have attacked two major targets in NNC today. Our reports are fuzzy but wittnesses say the Senate Building was one of those targets. If it is true, then we can only imagine the damage done to our nation's government. Wait a second....this has just been confirmed. The Senate Building was attacked and has been severly damaged. We are also being told the Empire Building has been attacked and it is not known wheteher that building still stands. The building, which is 87 stories tall, is in Western NNC and is home to many big companies. It is beleived 60,000 people work in that building each day. We will continue coverage of this tragedy for the remainder of the day, and I am sure...for weeks...

Anchor: And we are continuing our coverage of the terrorist attack on New Nick City today. We are expecting a televised speech from President Mills in the near future. At this moment this is what we know: A group of suicide bombers drove two vans packed with explosives,we beleive, into the Senate Building and the Empire Building at around 1:20 pm. The eastern half of the Senate Building, the side which we beleive the terrorists drove their van into and which also houses the Senate, has been destroyed. Officials escaping from the building say between 60 and 70 Senators were in the building at that moment. We have confirmed that 23 Senators have in fact been killed. The Empire Building , the second target, was completely destroyed. The building collapsed around an hour after the explosion. We have no exact numbers on those killed there but estimates, at this moment, are between 35,000 and 40,000. And also...oh wait, we are now going to the Presidential Home where President Mills will address the nation.

Mills: Good Evening my fellow citizens. Today our nation was attacked by a group of what can only be called cowards. They attacked our government, our economy, and our very freedoms. They hoped to destabilize our nation and destroy this government. Well, they have failed. Our nation and our people are strong. We have been tested before and have always risen to the occasion. We will gladly pay any price for freedom, and always have. Right now it is a time for mourning, a time to remember those who were killed by these savages. But we will fight back. And when we do, we will win. We will never forget this day, it will fade but will always remain with us.Thank you and may God continue to bless our great nation.

Anchor: Wonderful speech from our President. During this speech we received a notice from the Defense Department. In NNC and in all of eastern USN, martial law is now in effect and a mandatory curfew has also been put in place. No person is allowed on the street past 8:00pm. We have also been noticed that around 20,000 USN Republic Guards will be marching into the city by tomorrow morning to keep retain stability in the chaotic city. We are told they will be using tanks and other military vehicles to patrol the streets. We now will take a short break as we continue coverage of the terrorist attack that occured today in NNC.
