M13 Psycological Warfare Vehicle

The M13 was designed as an army requirement for a tracked, mobile system capable of demoralising hostile troops. Its primary weapons for this task is a large loudspeaker mounted on the roof. It is not only capable of broadcasting messages to opposing forces, it is also capable of sending a highly concentrated beam of sonic pulse at an individual, stunning him, causing vomiting, and rendering him immobile. Another weapon used are four 120mm breachloading mortars. These particular mortars are capable of fireing rounds filled with hundreds of leaflets, an excelent weapon against besieged enemies. Yet another weapon of the vehicle is a large, high intensity laser, capable of disorientating, blinding, or incapacitating an individual or small group. NEW ADDITION! Hydrolicly operated row of LED and halogen lights used for blinding large groups of enemy combatants! It's primary defencive armament is one GAU19 .50 caliber gattling gun mounted on a remotely operated pod.

It has a crew of four, a driver, a gunner, and two psi-war specialists, who operate the psycological weapons from the rear of the vehicle in the psi-war compartment. It has room for four prisoners as well, with steel loops that they would be handcuffed to. It also contains broadcasting equiptment and satelite transmitter to broadcast images of captured soldiers.

It uses depleted uranium encased in steel as its primary armor, and ERA blocks can be fitted.

OOC: Just so you know, psychological warfare isn't particularly effective against a 1st world army. Look at WW2, both sides used propaganda and they all failed. Usually, soldiers who found the leaflets would use them as toilet paper :/

But the crowd-control vehicle sounds quite nice. Then again, I don't have dissenters in my nation anymore (deported them awhile ago), so it'd be pretty useless.

OOC:I don't have dissenters either, I use them for putting down hostile populations in conquered nations. As for the Psi-war thing, it'll work fairly well against, say, an army that's under siege and has no chance for survival. Or a poorly motivated one that's being ordered around at gun point(IE:Iraq), or a poorly motivated one that doesn't support the war they're in, the North Koreans had some success with their propaganda.

The ARSB would like to purchase 250 M-13 Psychological Warfare vehicles to supplement and enhance our Psychological Operations corps (which are considered Special Forces). The vehicles will replace our small group of SIV-21 APCs which were refitted with mortars, directional sound amplifiers (for blasting high-intensity music, messages, etc. towards groups or individuals), high intensity sonic dischargers (for inducing vomiting, demoralizing, confusing, and otherwise causing others to quit what they were doing), high intensity light system, high intensity LED and halogen hydraulically operated light bank (a hydraulically raised and lowered bank of numerous lights designed to blind, halt, demoralize, and confuse enemy combatants, rioters, etc.), and a series of 2 million candlepower flood lights (for blinding small groups or individuals).

The only thing we ask is that we can modify the vehicles we purchase to include the other devices and options found on our SPV-21D (Psy-Ops variant which do double as crowd control vehicles).

Order has been confirmed, modification rights are also granted(you did help me with that tank, after all). Expect delivery in one NS week.

OOC:Yeah, its already got those sonic things on it, I just couldn't remember the proper name. I'll probably be modifying these to have some of the stuff you just mentioned.
