Today in the Sovick News:
It seems as if order has been restored in the Peoples Republic of Sovick today. The capture of ex-General Metri Yurgovk, leader of the League of Defiant Sovickans, occurred late last night after a five hour shoot out in the villiage of Kulka.
The ex-General had started a rebellion in the Vivkin Mountains shortly after the government cracked down on anarchist groups. He had an estimated 300 plus people in his "mini army". It eventually increased to over 4,000 plus people over the course of months.
But over the past few months, the Leagues numbers have dwindled with the increased attacks by the Grand Sovick Army, which total can not be released.
Such numerical superiority on the Sovick Armys part, had basically overwhelmed Yurgovk's forces, but with a heavy toll.
Alas the rebel general was caught and shot, along with a dozen of his staff, in public, in front of the state capital building today. It has been stated by the Sovick Main Executive Office that the whole rebel force has been "taken care of", but there are still small "terrorist cells" being hunted down.
