OTTAWA, EAST CANADA- PRIME MINISTER'S OFFICE.

It was a sunny morning in the capital- Prime Minister Colin Graves had just arrived at work. When he arrived to his office, however, his intelligence chief Joseph Hart was waiting for him.

"Joe- what's new?" Graves was handed a few papers to sign. "MacBeth acting up again?"

Hart was a bit uneasy. "Erm..yes. However, it's worse than before. We think he intends to invade all along the Ontario-Manitoba border."

Graves's jaw dropped. "You can't be serious, Joe- this has to be a mistake- He's not that crazy."

"I'm afraid he is, sir. What should we do," Hart inquired.

"Question is, what CAN we do?" Graves then fired off a brief message to the Defence Ministry-"I want our units in Western Ontario mobilized and stationed at the border ASAP- get the Generals over here-meeting time." Graves then paged his secretary, "Yo- Adrienne-tell Parliament I'm calling an emergency session."

Colin and Joe then walked out of the office. On his way out, Alec said to Adrienne-"Oh, and put on some coffee, would ya? It's gonna be a long night, I imagine..."

The two of them immediately headed off to Parliament, to try and plan.

Lord Protector's Palace, Banff, Calgary, Neo-Fascist Union of Canada formerly known as the United States of Canada

Lord Protector Gregory MacBeth sat in his large chair as his laughter filled the room as he learnt from his Lord of War that they have moved their forces onward to the Canadian Union.

"For the Union!" As the Lord of War stomped his left foot and raised his right hand in salute to the Lord Protector.

The Lord of External Affairs entered, "You wished to speak with me, Protector?"

"Make an ultimatum to, The Canadian Union. Say if they surrender peacefully, we'll be honoured to be their leaders. If they don't. Tell them to prepare for a blown out war. Because all the former lands of the Dominon of Canada, will rest under the name of the Neo-Fascist Union of Canada!"

OTTAWA, EAST CANADA- PARLIAMENT HILL

Graves was answering questions from various MPs when they recieved MacBeth's ultimatum. During the speech, Parliament and Graves were completely stunned- how could they be betrayed like this?

Graves then stood up and spoke:
"Friends, Comrades, Canadians- As you've heard, Fascism has just declared war on the good people of East Canada. I say to you, MacBeth, 'BALLS TO YOU'! We will fight with our very souls until our homeland is free. I request now that the Parliament vote on a declaration of war against the Neo-Fascist Union of Canada."

Canadian Broadcasting Network News Alert-
The House of Commons have voted 308-0 for a declaration of war, and the Senate has voted 105-0 for a declaration of war. East Canada is officially at war with the Neo-Fascist Union of Canada.

Manitoba-Ontario Border
Early Morning, Next Day


Tanks lined up in large roles of nineteen head forward as airplanes and bombers flew over towards the borderline as they were armed. A few spy planes in head reading out locations of the enemies ground unites.

Four bombers pulled off of formation as they headed for the bombing point, dropping bomb vigorously on military camps, as large explosions destroyed various parts, turning around for more passings.

The war had begun.

One hundred thousand soldiers wearing new Neo-Fascist Union of Canada uniforms marched as their assault rifles leant over their shoulders into combats. Few of them who feared their lives since they were against the Fascist Uprising in their country, being forced to fight a war they never believed in, they were soldiers. Thats their job. Fighting a war to win it. To become victorious warriors...

Ontario/Manitoba Border- 5:20 AM

It was a hectic morning, to say the least- the 3rd Infantry and 8th Armored had been encircled in a pocket near Kenora, but were holding out. The 2nd Army (120,000) was rushing out of Thunder Bay to try and intercept the spearhead, but were hampered by poor road conditions. The ECAF (East Canadian Air Force) had been forced to abandon its forwad bases along the border, and moved into remote locations along James Bay, with other units moving south toward Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie. However, they did manage to get a few squadrons into the air before they left.

24 Sussex Drive, Ottawa (Prime Minister's Residence)-5:30 AM

Colin Graves was awakened by a phone call from his Defence Minister- "The war's begun- enemy forces crossed the border this morning." Colin hung up, and muttered "Shit...Bastards." His wife Mai was startled-"What's wrong?". Colin sighed, "The war's begun, babe. Not much we can do about it, I'm afraid. We're working to hold the attack- hopefully, we'll be able to pull it off." Colin then got up and dressed-"I'm heading out to Parliament-they're probably running around like headless chickens." Colin then handed Mai his pistol. She was puzzled-"What's this for?" Colin chuckled, "Simple- any Fascist break in, shoot 'em." He embraced her, "It'll be alright- trust me." He then hopped in his car and left for Parliament.

With swift military assaults the small town of Kenora was captured city of the Neo-Fascist Union of Canada. While overhead F-18s encircled the ground troops and leading stragetic strikes against ground hostilities, F-10s approached from the Western skies as they fired their anti-tank missiles, brutalizing Eastern Canadian Tanks stationed in Kenora.

Sheraton Hotel, 5:45

Neo-Fascist General Aaron Hunter walked bravely into the Sheraton Hotel as he asked to speak with the Manager. The Manager approached, "What is it?"

General Hunter handed the woman a flag, "Hang this flag. Kenora now belongs to the Protector! The Neo-Fascist Union of Canada!"

The woman fell to the floor unconcious as the General chuckled and nodded to his Military Police to remove the Eastern Canadian flag from the large flag pole. The largest in the community.

"Schedule the arrests of politicians and Muslims and Jewish leaders in this community and send them to a re-education centre.. you heard me men."

The two men stomped and put their hands in the air, "Yes General! For the protector!"

General Hunter did the same, "For the protector!"

Air Taskforce 9, Enroute to Thunderbay

One thousand and five hundred bombers headed in the direction to Thunderbay from Kenora for a bombing run on Thunderbay.

5:52 AM, OUTSIDE OF THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO

Radar had detected a mass formation of NFUC bombers heading their way- 9 and 3 Wing, based near the city, were maintaing alert status, their 144 (Eurofighters, Su-33s, F-35s and F-18s) planes ready to go up at any time. Missile and other anti-aircraft bases jolted into action, releasing horrific salvos into the middle of the bomber formations. While they may not be able to down all of the bombers, they intended to take as many down as they could.

5:54 AM- PARLIAMENT HILL, OTTAWA

The MPs were stunned that the enemy had already captured Kenora- how could they move so fast? PM Graves was fielding questions from various parliamentarians when he was handed a report from the Defense Minister. It estimated that, at current speeds, the enemy would be in Ottawa within 6 weeks. He was horrified, yet moved. The government had to do something, and do it now- otherwise, the war would be lost.

6:00 AM- KENORA, ONTARIO

The city was quiet. NFUC troops were in full control of the town. Most of the East Canadian units there had been routed or destroyed, all save for the 8th Parachute Regiment. The 8th had been placed into the town for a specific purpose: they were to hide in nearby forests when the enemy came, then sneak in and help start an insurgency. They waited and watched in the forest- waiting for the right time to strike.

Thunderbay, Ontario - 6:10 AM

One thousand and five hundred Neo-Fascist Union of Canada's bombers flew overhead of the populated city as bombs scattered over their heads as they destroyed residential, commerical and light industrial areas. Meanwhile a few of the bombers were under attack by ECAF jets as they approached.

Air Captain Victor Tucango commed for surface-to-surface assistance, within fifteen minutes 450 F-88s and 320 F-22 Raptors cruised onto the scene, targeting their missiles for ECAF military planes.

Kenora, Ontario - Meanwhile

General Hunter stood in front of the news crews infront of city hall in Kenora as he spoke proudly, "As, the Chief of the Army. I reach my arms to our brothers and sisters in joining the Union against the inferior peoples of the world. The first step to reuniting the former-Dominon of Canada under a new name, the Neo-Fascist Union of Canada. All for now."

General Hunter walked into the doors as a few Security Officers laid dead in the building after the Generals troops stormed the building. Various locations in the new acquired NFUC territory were strongholds, a military base to the north, city hall and a hotel.

"Pick up these bodies and burn them in the city streets in the name of the Protector!" The General exclaimed.

ECFB Kenora, Kenora, Ontario, NFUC

The newly acquired base was the military base of operations for the NFUC invading forces into Eastern Canada. Once housed the prime airbases in all of Eastern Canada prior to the invasion. Newly acquired military equipment now belonged to them. As well forces members stations, if they opposed they were executed on the spot. If they held a high rank they were sent to a re-education centre in Northern Alberta for further interrogation.

Ten thousand of the troops were stationed in Kenora alone from the 100,000 while they were splitted and NFUC Commandos led expeditions around Kenora in investigation for insurgents.

Thunder Bay, Ontario- 6:15 AM
It was chaos. The NFUC raid was inflicting much damage on the city. Due to the appearance of the fighters, many of the ECAF units exited the battle, and went to other airfields. However, Colonel Alexander Shaw, who was organizing the defense of Thunder Bay, tried another option. Aegis ships based in the harbor and missile vehicles in and around the city unleashed a constant, horrific barrage into the NFUC formations, supported by remaining ECAF fighters. The citizens had taken cover in the subways and in basements- how long this hell would last, no one knew.

Meanwhile, in Ottawa
Graves had just watched the transcript of Hunter's speech. He was sickened by what he was seeing- fascists, desecrating his homeland. He then reappeared inside the House of Commons, and spoke. "You see what the enemy has done? They've occupied our cities, our towns, our homes. They'll stop at nothing until they've occupied all of it. We can do something about it, gentlemen. The question is, WILL we? Will we answer the call to defend our land? Will we do what is right, and defeat the Fascists? That, good sirs, is for you to decide..."

Immediately after he spoke, Parliament voted on and approved two acts: A War Production Act, meant to convert most critical industries in East Canada for production of war material, and to build more industry in Atlantic Canada and Nord-du-Quebec. A Conscription Act was also passed, which called up all East Canadian males age 18-36 to serve.

15 miles west of Kenora, Ontario-6:19 AM
A grass airstrip lay about 15 miles west of Kenora. Normallly, it was only used as an auxilary, but, today, it was home to Hornet Squadron, of 3 Wing. Hornet Squadron was a squadron of F-4 IIBs, which were specifically designed for ground attack. Their commander, Captain Peter Jansen, knew that Kenora had fallen- and that the base was in enemy hands. They had to stop it- but how? He was leaning against his plane, drinking some coffee, when a pilot (Lt. Edward Schultheis) walked up to him. "Sir, If I'm not out of line, I do have a plan to attack the Kenora base..." Jansen was amazed- all that needed to be done was to take out the fuel tanks, and the whole base would go up.

The squadron then mobilized with what little armaments they had left, and took off for Kenora. They maintained a tight formation, and, as they closed in on the Kenora base, released their load of missiles, rockets, and cannon at the tanks.

Thunderbay, Ontario - 6:20 AM

The bombers formations were changing due to the lossage of bombers, a spy plane flew high over Thunderbay multiple times gathering intelligence. It reported to the fighter group that there was an Aegis carrier nearby causing a threat, a wing of four broke off and headed for the harbour. Taking the carrier out after four air-to-surface missiles hit it succesfully in different locations, sinking to the buttom. The fighters made another passing taking out other units of the Eastern Canada's naval force in the harbour.

Banff, Alberta - 4:25 Local Time

The phone rang in the Lord Protector's bedroom as he woke up to it answering it, "Lord Protector...."

"Sir... we have captured Kenora. We are moving towards Thunderbay!" General Hunter exclaimed.

"Good! Continue! I'll have more troops and supplies transported to help on the front." Macbeth responded.

"That is all."

Macbeth stood up from bed, "Good bye."

"Where are you going?" His wife asked.

"I have to deploy our navy from Fabus Island to create a diversion..."

"Fun... come to bed..."

He nodded and went to bed after he dailed the number for the War of Lord to proceed with the orders.

Fabus Island Naval Base - 6:30 Local Time

This was the pride of the NFUC navy on the East Coast, the navy was to be deployed submarines armed with cruise missiles cruised at high speed for their destinations to open fiery and havouc on the East Canadian cities.

ECFB Kenora - Meanwhile

Anti-Air Defenses took out three quarters of the planes of the ECAF offensive, however few locations of the military base were destroyed. Colonel Benson growled as he saw this mess of the base, "LOCATE THESE JEWS AND KILL THEM!" As he fired off his pistol into the morning sky at the planes.

6:30 AM, Thunder Bay, Ontario
The skies above the city were eerily quiet, save for the roar of jets. East Canadian AA batteries could be heard going firing on the occasion, but it seemed the raid was pretty much over. Many parts of the city were ablaze, and the wreckage of fighter planes was strewn all over town.

Ottawa, Ontario- 7:30 EDT- 24 Sussex Drive

Colin had returned home from Parliament about 20 minutes ago, and at present was busy having sex with his wife when the phone rang. At first, Mai encouraged him not to answer, pointing out, "you're already stressed out enough as it is." Colin remained firm, however, saying, "baby- It's the war." He then answered, "Prime Minister Graves here." It was his Defence Minister (David Stephenson) again.

"Sir, the enemy has launched a massive raid against Thunder Bay- enemy casualties were high, but much damage was inflicted on the city." Graves frowned, "Thanks, Dave." He hung up, and muttered "Shit." Mai knew it wasn't good- "What now?" Colin sighed, "Thunder Bay just got pummled." He got up. "Gotta go to Parliament, AGAIN- They can't think for themselves for a minute, eh?"

Halifax, Nova Scotia- Naval Command
The officers had been informed that the NFUC Atlantic Fleet was heading their way. They elected to keep their ships to port for the time being, and ambush the NFUC subs in costal waters.

ECFB Kenora

The six planes that remained of Hornet Squadron scattered quickly from the battle, they were quite pleased with themselves. There was much chatter on the radio, but, the commander soon came on and invoked Pyrrhus- "One more such victory and we are lost". The pilots were confused- was their attack THAT costly?


5 miles south of Kenora, Ontario

It was quiet- a column of NFUC troops was going down the road, to spearhead the attack on Thunder Bay. It was a clear day- not a cloud, nor a plane in the sky. However, almost out of the sun, it seemed, two squadrons of F-4s swooped down and unleashed their arsenal on the dazed and confused NFUC troops.

Thunderbay, Ontario - 6:45 AM Local Time

The NFUC aircraft continued to bomb various locations. The spy plane had taken pictures of various AA guns on the surface. A wing of bombers responded to the intelligence broke away from the group, speeding at its high speed as it dropped their bombs over the various guns located.

NFUC Atlantic Naval Command, Fabus Island - 6:50 AM Local Time

Admiral Levant spoke out at a hearing, "It is logical... that the Eastern Canadians... will use all force nessecary on our submarines. However to the Admiralty, we believe this will be a distraction. Another naval force of thirteen destroyers and four aircraft carriers will be stationed nearby to destroy enemy naval units."

NFUC Kenora, Outside of Kenora, Ontario - 6:55 AM Local Time

Colonel Benson sat in his new office as he grumbled after the surprise airstrike, he had a good swearfest of words. He thought of what he said, "What the hell am I becoming?"

General Hunter hearing it out of the door, he slid out his silenced pistol as he walked in holding it behind his back, "What?"

"I am questioning my loyalty to the Protector, is what I'm doing!"

"Bad choice to do. He's doing everything for you, your family and generations to come."

Colonel Benson grabbed for his pistol, "I don't think so, General."

General Hunter pulled out his gun and walked over quickly putting it down harshly onto the Colonel's forehead, "Nice trick. Colonel."

The Colonel gulped, "I am proud to say - I SUPPORT THE REPUBLIC!"

General Hunter quickly pulled the trigger, launching the Colonel backwards into the car against the wall as he walked out, "Get the MPs. We have a corpse of a traitorous bastard."

Trans-Canada Highway

The highway was filled with NFUC military personnel has it headed down towards Thunderbay.

Banff, Alberta, NFUC - 6:10 AM Local Time

Lord Protector Macbeth stood from his bed as he woke up as he headed out of the bedroom as he placed on his night robe.

Thunder Bay, Ontario- 7:00 AM

The city was quiet. The bombers had vacated the area, and only a few batteries were still operational. Crews were working hard to repair them, though, and some people returned to the streets to search for remains of their lives, buried underneath tons of rubble.

Fleet Command, 7:10 AM- Halifax, Nova Scotia

Admiral Whittaker was looking at a display- NFUC fleets had set sail for Halifax. He elected to keep the fleet in the harbor- force them to try to break through Halifax's defences.

Trans-Canada Highway

The 4th Engineering Battallion got detatched from its main group outside Thunder Bay. Their commander, Colonel Steve "Red" Green, had no orders. What were they to do? They had few weapons, and the enemy was advancing on all fronts. However, they did have 100 kilos of C4- and duct tape.

The battallion placed C4 charges on bridges along a 5-mile stretch of the highway. They then retreated to a swamp nearby, where they would detonate when the time was right...kill as many fascists as possible.

Outside Kenora, Ontario
Many civilians had escaped the fall of Kenora- and met up with East Canadian forces in the forests nearby. They were being trained in the art of guerilla warfare- to create havoc in the invader's backyard.

One week and a half later

CBC (AP) - The Neo-Fascist Union of Canada's forces had succesfully conquered Ontario and Quebec, placing puppet leaders into power - former Prime Minister Paul Martin to be placed as President of Ontario, and had has placed Gilles Duccepe as leader of Quebec.

Hmm.. interesting. Tag. Go Western Canada.

One week and a half later

CBC (AP) - The Neo-Fascist Union of Canada's forces had succesfully conquered Ontario and Quebec, placing puppet leaders into power - former Prime Minister Paul Martin to be placed as President of Ontario, and had has placed Gilles Duccepe as leader of Quebec.

Two weeks later..

The situation had stabilized on the front- East Canadian forces were holding the line at the St. Lawrence. The government had been moved to Halifax- far behind the lines. Units based in Labrador were making gains in Northern Quebec, although the land was mostly uninhabited.

In Halifax...

Graves needed a miracle. The war could not be won at the current pace. He needed to get the NFUC to fight itself- but how? The thought then occured to him- get Wittrock out of jail. He then went to see his advisors about how best to do this.

OCC: Democracy has been reestablished in Jarridia, President Wittrock continues is currently residing there and is seen the Head of State of the United States of Canada.

Parliament Hill, Ottawa

Gregory Macbeth looked over the ruins of the Parliament and looked over his shoulders to look at a General, "How many politicians were killed?"

"One hundred and fifty, Lord Protector."

"Good."
