War on Talonor!
Today the Empire of Shayol has declared war on the nation of Talonor. Any citizens of Shayol within Talonoran borders are to leave immediately. This war is to put an end to slavery in Talonor and also rid the world of its evil dictator Aeron Civitarese. We have given Civitarese plenty of chances to end his barbaric ways. He has refused any peaceful option, so we now must take military action. We ask for the help of all those who are against the idea of slavery.

Today, Shayolian forces have crossed the Talonor border in what is being called the first battle of this war. The target was a slave concentration camp holding an estimated 1,000 slaves. Only 5 Shayolian soliders were reported injured.

A general addresses his men in a meeting after word of the recent attacks.
"As we expected they went for the camp. How in the hell did they know where it is? They must have someone working on the inside."

The Independence Militia, a ragtag army formed by slaves who were freed by Excalibor Moblie Infantry Special Forces brigades (see this thread http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=364306&page=5&highlight=talonor) now marched on the Talonorian capitol with a strength of 600 infantry, 30 tanks, and 22 MLRS artillery systems. This assault will be supported by 150 F-22s and 30 B-2 bombers from the Excalibor Air Fleet. MISF brigades will be pulling out of Talonor immediately.

Yevon of Spira supports Talonor and has sent 30 Evrae-III fighter jets. The jets can go mach 3 for short periods of time, but while going mach 3, you cannot use the weapons on-board. The weapons include a triple barrel rail gun, that can shoot three bullets a second per barrel, and 2 rocket launchers under the wings, which must be fired in unison, or the ship will spin out of control. To expert fliers, the Evrae-III is possibly the best fighter class flier in production.

Declaring war on a neighboring country due to the fact that you do not like the way they run their country is not correct. Peacekeeping forces will be dispatched to the Talonor capital if you do not stand down yours and your allies forces right now. The Empire has Spoken!

The move from out military has been made. We have now invaded Shayolian territory. With the help of our allies, we shall crush the infidels. We send our thanks to Emperor Palpatine the 4th. With your help we see no other way but victory.

We will send thousands of volenteers to support Shayol and all her allies. No plans of the Nycton military is being sent, but that could change as the situation develops. The 11th fleet, the fleet that just received the Super-Dreadnought Julii from a fleet transfer has been ordered to patrol the coastline and asess the situation. A Large carrier will also be with the fleet.
OOC: Do you have a map, Shayol, can you name a suitable village/beach, in your counntry, and give me ideas on the defence.
IC: A solatary stelth bomber cruised through the upper strasphere of Shayol. Inside 20 men of the ASS legion sat, waiting for the drop. A red light came on and they rose and slowly made there way to the exit. The first man jumped his parachute expanding behind him, soon all of them where falling. Below them where twinkling light, a small village on the edge to the sea, it seemed to be reletivly unprotected and no tracer lit up the sky.
The ASS landed in a feild 2 KM south of the village, they crawled into cover and fortified there position, then as morning dawned, they waited....

The Austian fleet was one day away from the beach, it's troops would land in the early morning, 2 days after the ASS had paradropped. A few decoy ships had been sent out to find any enermy activitie.
On board the aircraft carriers the first planes took off, they where mainly fighters as well as bombers, moving to attack the enermy capital. With there persion bombing they would aim for the CBD and the administrive centers of Shayol.
