Secret IC: The Shah glanced over the mahogany table at his advisors and began to speak. "My friends, for too long have the Hazara run amok breeding in our nation. These decendants of Ghengis Khan's horde of mongol barbarians have already been wiped out in Iran through gradual enslavement and deportation but the Afghani Hazara population is growing excessivley. Seven million mongol scum now live in that province! I have proposed several solutions for ridding these miscreants without inflaming the international community and now we have a final perfect plan. Dariush Savhadkohi and Field Marshall Rostam Bahari recommended to me that we could use the new X-47 crop blight to create a die off of Afghani crops in the Hazara regions. The entire area would be quickly quarantined and our HAZMAT detection sattelites would find any traces outside the zone and we would quickly burn those places with napalm. We will then place a new tax on food and covertly cut or reduce shipments so less can get to the Hazara and the price goes up. While they starve Teymorian Slaveholding INC will send in buyers to collect anyone willing to sell themselves so they don't starve. If any are left within three months, we will unleash plague upon them and then they will all die. The operation will commence at 0600 hours tomorrow, are there any objections? Secret IC:
The B-2 of captian Bijan Taheri flew high above the Afghan countryside, checking his insturment panels for information. He was one minute from the release zone, quickly he activated a switch to open the bomb bay. As the doors opened, it triggered the tanks within to unleash the deadly mist upon the afghani crops before the plane's bomb doors closed up and then turned for home.

Our top story tonight, the government has ordered a tax on grain and other crops sold to wholesalers to help raise funds for the Parthian army. The Shah hopes this tax will avoid the need for an income tax for the forseeable future.

The crops of the Hazara region began to blacken and wilt. Soon, calls to the Interior Ministry flooded the lines and Dariush Savhadkohi, Interior minister declared a quarantine of the area, and with the assistance of HAZMAT detection satellites, the entire infected area, the entire Hazara region was now to be cut off from the outside world as a barbed wire fence eight feet high began to go up.

Within a day the region was isolated and with the isolation the crop blight could no longer spread. Now, the world would hear about the incedent with the media of Parthia.

PNN special report:

A crop blight has struck Hazara regions of Afghanistan, propmting a government quarantine to prevent the spread of the blight. Thus far, details are sketchy at best and until later we will not be able to cover much.
