House passes Intolerance and Justice Act

In a move that surprised many political commentators, the Upper House today voted overwhelmingly in favour (502-100) of passing the controversial "Intolerance and Justice Bill" into law.

The Bill, widely-criticised by Right Wing parties, makes illegal "all forms of discrimination based upon race, religion, political belief, national origin, convictions not bestowed by Court of Law, or any judgment bestowed by an individual or group upon another individual or group not supported by a judgment issued by a Court of Law, Medical authority, or other authority." The new law makes such crimes punishable by at minimum thirty years' hard labour and at maximum death by specially-designed painful execution methods, including death by Ebola virus, death by testicular electrocution, and death by internal acid burns.

The law was decried angrily by the Far Right Social Progress Party, who called it "a slur upon our members' beliefs and a clear testament to the way that this government is controlled by blacks and Jews." The spokesman responsible for this statement was summarily shot by a nearby police officer after the reporters in the area attested that he had made this statement.

100 Nazis executed

In a grisly public execution today, 100 members of the DPUO Nazi Party were executed by massed attacks of rabid dogs. The execution was carried out in public, in a large perspex dome structure just outside the capital. Not a few onlookers were overcome by what they saw and had to leave, and guard had to begin isuing vomit bags to many of the audience, but overall, in the words of the Home Secretary, the reception to the execution was "sound."

OOC: With this kind of law in place, you'll have executed all of the political refugees you just excepted from us within a week of their arrival. ;)

We will send over those who have not been found guilty of committing crimes under any other law (e.g. murder law, rape etc), and/or those who have had commuted sentences (grounds of diminished responsibility, manslaughter, or similar).

Excellent, what numbers are we looking at in terms of transportation?

Yes, sending you all those NAZIs and commies left a small void in our economy. We'd be willing to accept any right-wings to fill the gap, as well. We'll send 8 cargo ships (2,000 people each) to pick up any you don't need.

Currently the legal system is working overtime on the cases in its' collective in-tray, as it were. The current status, however, looks something like this:

To be executed: 122,200
To be imprisoned (mild labour camp, sentence 15 years or below): 1,254,000
To be imprisoned (mild labour camp, sentence 16 years or above): 2,000,100
To be imprisoned (medium labour camp, sentence 15 years or below): 1,350,100
To be imprisoned (medium labour camp, sentence 16 years or above): 2,000,050
To be imprisoned (strict labour camp, sentence 15 years or below): 1,030,000
To be imprisoned (strict labour camp, sentence 16 or more years): 1,600,000

Note: all prisons are labour camps. Most lanbour camps are of the Mild type, and involve doing light manual work or similar activity. Medium camps involve heavier manual work and lower standards of safety, and Strict camps are basically unregulated slave camps.

It's refreshing to see a nation make such a bold stand, however I'm very surprised to see the international community giving such support.

Nonetheless, keep up the good work.

Interesting... Roycelandia has enacted legislation DISCOURAGING Tolerance of certain things (primarily stupidity and scumminess).

Still, it's your Country, and you can do what you like in it, as far as we're concerned...

Interestingly, Parliament has been looking into laws similar to those in Roycelandia, since it is generally considered that they are thoroughly sensible ones. However, we are still working on the details.

Citizenry encouraged to participate in executions

DPUO's citizens are being officially encouraged to partake in executions of Far Right Wingers, it was revealed today.

A spokesman for the Justice Ministry confirmed that this was the case in a press statement today. "The people must take part in the justice system. It is their justice system and they have every right to not only use it, but to enjoy it also."

200 more Nazis were executed today, this time by being immersed in hot oil.

Much appreciated, King MacDonald.

In news today, 600 members of moderate Right-Wing groups across the nation were released without charge after arrest under the new Intolerance and Justice Act. The people involved were commended for their patience and forebearance towards the police, who said in a statement that "they were all worried but they kept cool and were completely honest about their activities. We were able to locate several known Fascists whose whereabouts had been unknown thanks to their forthrightness with us."

Jews invited to stone Nazis to death; blacks encouraged to kill white supremacists

As part of the new Intolerance and Justice Act, the groups most targeted by a given illegal group are allowed to take action against that group. The policy has been praised by the representatives of the various groups under attack by the Nazis and Fascists of the nation, and has shown promising results.

Yesterday, more than 2,000 Nazis were summarily executed by representatives of the Jewish community in DPUO, along with persons from various other groups traditionally attacked by Nazis. Methods of execution included stoning, burning alive and oxygen deprivation. Meanwhile, 1,900 members of the National Union of Fascists were used as targets by the 120th Guards Motor-Rifle division, drawn mainly from the black community.

The leader of the NUF, who went into hiding after the imposition of the new law, was also keelhauled to death today beneath the battlecruiser Isachenkov.

Far Right declared outlawed

The Minister of the Interior announced today that all persons who are members of Far Right Wing parties are outlawed, and that being found to have a Far Right Wing view will from now on be treated as a crime, punishable by 1 year's imprisonment. Far Right Wing parties are now outlawed, and all of their members are no longer entitled to the protection of the law, as a result of this Act. Several groups have begun offering bounties for high-profile Far Right leaders, notable one Andrew Smith. Smith, rumoured to be a desecendant or relative of Ian Smith of Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and leader of the DPUO brance of the Church of the Christian Identity,, is wanted for murder, rape, theft, arms smuggling, acts of terrorism, intolerance, membership of a Far Right Wing group, high treason, resisting arrest, and numerous cases of grievous bodily harm. Any information on this or other Far Right groups or persons should be provided to the police or your nearest member of the Enforcer Corps.

So basically you have become Intolerant of Intolerance, thereby making you intolerant of ignorant people, the religious zealot, the vocal intellectual, the passionate artist, and all the people who manage to bring new ideas into the world. You have become so liberal you have snapped right back to conservative again.
