Note: I know that #1 in the modern tech catergory is a little large, but I went through it and checked. It appears that Weapons-Tech incorp has been an enterprising little bugger lately.

The Emperor is very pleased with the progess we have made. Hitting the #2 spot on our first sign up for us seems to be quite good. We eagerly await the next sign-up.

Our Emperor would be very interested too as he is the President of all private enterprises, multi-national or otherwise, that were originally based in the Drum Gods Empire. This includes everything from the health service to the IT industry to Fashionwear. He controls and profits from everything. He is represented in the corporate world as DGI Holdings Plc.

Impressive debut for the RSIN Corp, I must say. ;-)

Not bad growth for the Portland Iron Works, though it's a little sad to see the Wilmington Shipyard Corporation on the countdown for the last time.

1,000,000 = 1 million
1,000,000,000 = 1 billion
1,000,000,000,000 = 1 trillion
1,000,000,000,000,000 = 1 quadrillion

The storefronts calculate everything , but they must also provide proof of the wealth. Almost all of weapons-techs money comes from his Bank and Weapons storefront..( i'll bring them up.)

I knew this was going to happen, so I am going to have an older, unaffiliated, unbiased nation total up Weapons-tech's revenue.

I added it up and It seems he is not correct, he is not giving him self full credit of what he earns, he is cutting off the $.85 he is own to him. so he is about $.85 under he real revenue

in a way yes. I my self would be more then happy to lend you a hand in creating your company. If you want to sell weapons you need a good line up of weapons to sell. if you sell aircraft you need a line up of them to, oh also lots of stats, people like stats.

check out my web page, this is the one that i use for just about everything.

OOC:

The thing is banks really do not generate any revenue if they're merely savings accounts; they would be actually losing money instead of earning it (due to the fact that they have no external revenue producing apparatus). In essence, the only thing savings accounts are good for is liquid capital for a bank to invest in secure sources such as commodities, well established properties, stocks, bonds, and the like. If a bank does not invest the money they receive then they're losing profit and revenue (because savings accounts produce interest, and the bank has no way of paying for this "extra" money that's due to the account holder).

That's why banks offer a great deal of extra services (mortgages, safe deposit boxes, long term loans, etc.); it's the interest and the fees from those services which really produce revenue (and thus the actual practical money) of the bank.

In summary, a bank's revenue shouldn't be the amount that's received in deposits, but rather how much is earned through their insurance, loans, and outside investments. The money they receive for savings deposits can be included in their revenue projections, provided they produce a plausible RP concerning where they placed the money for investment. It's not entirely out of the question for them to have made 5 - 15% of what they received in deposits, but that's a very liberal investment projection.

-I'm sorry if I've made any erroneous statements or comments. I do not have, nor will I ever, profess to have an extensive knowledge in economics. However, from my personal experience with banks, this is what I know to be true of their more profitable ventures. Thank you for your time.

although this is not posted people do have loans and such with that bank they are all put in his TG section on his nations webpage. he does that for privacy reasons. he also has money in hundreds of investments. I dont know what exactly but rest assured they are there.

My only thing is look at what he was last time and look at what he is this time. That's a significant jump. 1.2 quadrillion dollars? That's a buttload of money, especially when the next highest is under $10T. My storefront has been a MAJOR success but thus far has only amassed $123T in total since it started. $1.2 quadrillion is a whole lot for a single sitting. That's a lot of multi-trillion dollar orders and I am curious how many n00bs placed those orders and got what they wanted. I just think the numbers have been futzed and TFM taken for a ride.
Sarzonia
15-10-2004, 15:44
I think there's something to be said about an occasional drawback to free-form RP. A lot of storefront owners check economic calculators like ThirdGeek or Pipian to verify that a country could or should be able to make purchases, but it's entirely possible that some don't do that.

Without creating an artificial order limit for countries, I don't see how you can prevent the massive multi-trillion dollar orders from happening, especially if a country has a Powerhouse or higher economy rating and they've been around since '02 and you just happen to be the lucky store to become their favored supplier.

That said, unless someone went in to do a detailed audit of every sale by Weapons-Tech, I'm not sure how you're going to find out whether he is doing something he shouldn't. I don't think many of us have enough time to go through all that.
Layarteb
15-10-2004, 15:49
Yes I always check ThirdGeek as well as their nation profile before a sale and often I will reject people for their lack of $ more than I will for their leftist ideology (which if you haven't noticed I am always citing when I deny an order). The question I am raising is how many of those multi-trillion dollar orders were placed by nations with populations of 6 million and so on and so fourth and yes you are right about the audit. None of us have the time. I don't think that it's something with TMF, I think it's the numbers presented. He said he wasn't checking because he didn't have the time. I think he was taken advantage of.

Hmm.. having made $60bn+ in the past week, we may well apply for the next table... (having a top of range stealth bomber on the books at $1.5bn a unit kind of makes it a bit lucrative..)

$60B is nothing. $60B will never get you near $1.2Q.
