What about swimming and the beaches? Will the women be forced to wear full clothing at the beach and while they swim?

His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor of Falastur, would like to point out that a better and more moral way of ensuring those of other nations do not leer at your women would be to recommend to them that they do not commit incest for the sake of purity. If anything, that will really screw your womens' reputations over.

Ooc- 2nd cousin or farther apart (3rd, 4th, etc) are not immediate family. My state law allows anybody 2nd cousin or greater apart to get married (I know of some folks who are 1st cousin and got married, and their kids are fine by the way)

The Avadrian government recognizes Mississippi's State Dress Code and their ability to enforce it within their own borders. However I personally believe that the summary of the law was vauge in how foreigners are supposed to dress, as you said it was so that the bodies of Mississippian women would remain sacred for Mississippian men or something of the sort. Either way we are curious on whether this law applies to foreigners or not.

It is coming to the end of the Press Conference at Iuthia's public relations head quarters and Ambassador Katarina Tzing had answered the questions in her normal calm and clear voice, commonly found in diplomats from the Iuthian Diplomatic Corps.

After this conference she would be returning to Decisive Action to continue her work as an ambassador of their nation... she was content so far and her comments had more or less been those of improving relations, though it had to be said that it is easy to improve on relations which didn't exist previously. She hasn't condemned them, it wasn't her job, so she hadn't said anything offencive to the news crews...

She wasn't really sure if this conference would even reach their nation, but it had to be assumed that someone would be watching it in anycase. She stuck an old IDC quote: "The Iuthian Diplomatic Corps tell no casual lies. Truth serves us better."

Now just as they were wrapping up the conference, a young eager reporter raised his hand when she asked for the final time "Any last questions?"

The reported asked: "What is your personal stance on the latest change in DA Law regarding a female dress code for their citizens?"

She was taken a little surprised at the mans questioning of her own opinion and not that of her governments, which had already been noted in previous statements by the IDC. She answered simply:

"While I enjoy the freedom we are given here in Iuthia to chose to wear cloths or not, I understand that Decisive Action's laws are laws born from their culture and their populaces desire for decency in their women. As such I respect their cultural difference and embrace it during my stay in their nation, even though I am exempt from the law. I would be foolish to fluant that right in their nation and who am I to question their moral laws? Respect is important in my line of work and quite frankly I respect their wishes.

With that she gave a slight nod to the press and then walked out of the room, stage left, to make her way to the airport to return to Decisive Action to continue her job.
