The Colony of Exetonia Independants is a small, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 16 million are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. The Free Land of Kovelev is a very large, economically powerful nation, renowned for its strong anti-business politics. Its hard-working, cynical population of 103 million are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, corrupt, pro-business morass -- juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Religion & Spirituality. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 29%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Uranium Mining.

Streakers swamp all public events in order to bare it all, citizens are encouraged to report friends, family members or co-workers who seem depressed to the government for "counselling", hundreds of thousands of convicts work as slaves in Kovelev's many privately-owned prisons, and the nation's drinking water tends to glow green at night. Crime is a serious problem. Exetonia today decalerd that the reason the auction was cancelled is because there was uproar within these counties that there lives were being sold out by the government to another nation. rather thna risk all out warfare with these counties. Exetonia has paid the regional governments compensation to teh extent of trillions of USD. These counties wish to remanin a part of The Exetonian Empire and will remain to do so.
