Paula Mikito:

"Today, We has begun an initiative against the counterfeiting of money. While it has already inplemented a sort of barcode for bills, which has done wonders against counter-feiting, as well as under the table deals, etc.

However, Chellis is getting more and more worried about international trade. While most nations like to use USD, many nations, too many, have USD printing machines. Chellis owns one, though it does not use USD as its currency. If we were corrupt, we could easily print large amount of USD and use it for international trade, inflating the global economy at no cost of our own.

We would never do such a thing. However, there are hundreds, possibly thousands of nations that have these. Can you just trust this?

Chellis has to do background checks on nations who use USD, making sure they use it as national currency, etc. This costs us money, which we put to the buyer/seller. This, quite simply, is bad.

Nations who do not go to such extensive measures may be caught off-guard. How many of you actually do checks? Few? Any?

This is why we are sponsering a new currency. Not actually a new currency, but the dispersal of the Chellian euro, though the international form can simply be called the International, or the IE.

Currently, there is only one printing station, it exists in chellis, heavily defended. We back our economy on it, so there is no chance of us abusing it. We are considering allowing another nation to have a printing station, so that we don't have total control over it.

We are willing to implement this in nations. The advantages are that we have a set serial code, individual to each bill, which fights counterfeiting, though its just as easy to use the currency without a set checking system, at least as easy as USD. You know it will be strong backed, as chellis has a strong economy.

Chellis is willing to help any nation implement it, making sure it completely and rightfully replaces the currency of the current nation. We will also have observers to make sure that it stays as the official currency, and if it is decided to get rid of it, chellis has plans to make it so the left over currency cannot be abused.

The currency is, as of now, at a rate of 0.5CE(IE) to 1 USD, it is twice as strong as the USD. We will rate each applicant nations currency to its strength to an unmodified USD, as well as to the IE, and figure out a conversion rate.

We are open for applications. We hope nations accept this, in the spirit of good trade, and the global fight against counterfeiting."
