FSM has launched two updated Istrebitel Sputnikov-II satellites. They feature masers as well as the kinetic kill that the Istrebitel Sputnikov-I's had. When the minister of space was asked why, he replied "It is necessary for the defense of ourselves and our allies."

After the downing of IS-II A, the FSM space program has scrounged up enough money to launch another pair of IS-IIs, as well as maintain the remaining IS-II B. However, the maser array has been cut down by 25%, in order to make room for lasers.

It has become apparent to FSM that defense is required to protect its precious assets orbiting the earth. With the IS-II satellites, they can help FSM rest easy, knowing that there are fighter satellites protecting FSM from harm.

The Tsyklon class launch vehicle will be used to take the satellites into Geostationary orbit. Launch is scheduled to happen in a few minutes.

Zhejiang Province, China, now a member of the Democratic Union of Asia - my idea - is our nation of origin.
In 2008 the Chinese provinces of Shandong and Jiangsu on the east cost north of Shanghai and Zhejiang pulled out of the political system at Beijing and China responded brutally - alienating the people at large who have been soaking up western culture and the ideas of liberty and freedom and ownership for years. China recovered the provinces by force physically but lost its connection with the people. When Greater Beijing(including the district of Taijin and the surrounding province of Heibi) declared independance by drawing the military from the Beijing Military zone into the Heibi to form a buffer zone and expelled the communist party replacing it with representatives and an interim president who drafted and ratified a constitution for the fair representation of China. The year after the Province of Zhejiang and Shanghai declared its independance and the provinces of Shandong-Jiangsu in a general revolt faught for a defended thier independance and marching into Anhui to the west expanded thier resources and secured an economic recovery by immediately initiating a trade alliance with Zhejiang and Shanghai to the south and Greater Beijing to the North. The Asian Union trading bloc now includes the Japanese People, South Korea and most of SE Asia.

By 2010 Zhejiang initiated robost AI driven Robotics and Aerospace Industries and channeled the entirety of thier nations industrial capacity to focus on aerospace related industries and its reformed public education system to the same. And within a decade half of Zhejiang population was off-world on the moon or between after perfecting efficient magneto-plasma rocket driven aerospace launch systems.

The links to the International Fleet Initiative of 2020 is in my signature it outlines the charter, mission and if you so feel inclined - the minimal requirements to join the IF as a member state. In return for handing in spaceborne combat elements to the IF and all space assets not dedicated to the peaceful development of space exploration. In return for a small tax on your nations GDP - you also fall under the protection of the International Fleet a force with global reach and rapid deployment capabilities that can augment your nations defenses against foreign threats or replace your airforce so your economy can channel those funds into better projects like educational and commercial topics.

OOC:You could touch any IF member nations, even if we were all new nations cause of our dedicate annual multi trillion dollar defense initiatives so backoff. We roleplay - we roleplay peace and disarmament in space and its peaceful industrialization. You roleplayed a warmongering agenda expanding its punitive mission into the realms of Orbit so we naturally objected. We'd do the same to any other nation that reasonably roleplays in the first half of the 21st century.
