Doomingsland,

While we both have differing opinions, We feel that with your military force and size, compared to ours, we could both benefit from an alliance.

Official Imperial Response-

How could you benefit us? Your economy is fairly weak, and we doubt you could sustain a very powerful army.

[secret statement]
The "Alliance" would just help us military technology, which is one of our top researched items, plus we dont exactly want a nation like yours invading us, with most of our troops away right now.

Very good observation. This seems to us to be somewhat unfair, though the majority of the laws (not all of them) seem quite draconian to us.

OOC: Heh heh, obviously, not entirely serious.

OOC:I was gonna mention something about that, but the laws were written two thousand years ago, so what do you expect.

Looks good to me, nice job killing off criminals, that must keep the crime rate down.

We have the same punishments for most of those crimes. Rape is punished with execution by drawing and quartering, high value theft is punished with execution and the distribution of his property amongst his victims. Sexual deviance isn't punished however.
