Announcement from Lasatanian State Defence Industries:

Following the successful completion of the LAS-XB1 'Blackbear ' next-generation bomber project, Lasatanian Aeronautical Industries began work on a new stealth bomber project.

With the takeover of Ruro-Severia's state factorys, LAI was integrated into the LSDI group of industries and incorporated a number of projects into its development programs.

One result of this is the new LAS-XB2 Bedbug stealth bomber, based on development worked carried out by LAI and the Ruro-Severian state industry. Operational deliveries to the LAF of the bomber are set to take place in November of this year and exports are planned within the next five.

Features include:

*In flight refuelling, effectively providing an intercontinental range

*Choice of stealth cruise or normal cruise modes

*Top speed of mach 2.6 achievable

*Payload exceeding that of USAF B2 Stealth Bomber

*Novel composite materials, providing improved radar shielding (50% harder to detect than B2)

Any nation interested in acquiring this aircraft should contact us as soon as is possible to discuss the matter further.

Unit cost is estimated at $1.5bn per aircraft

Avionics system: The LSDI Hellfire system is built into aircraft. Hellfire is a fully automated environment aware combat system using up the minute AI to assess threats and put in place necessary counter measures dependent upon the aircraft status (i.e stealth or conventional). Hellfire can be placed in a fully automatic response mode or an alert mode. Using a combination of passive and active radar settings, the system allows for forward flight path planning in order to avoid air defence systems.

Stealth features include, shielding of engine outlets, use of novel composite materials in aircraft coating and an optional passive radar system. Further details will be released once the security classification of these systems are downgraded.

Intercontinental capability is achieved via the in-flight refuelling system that effectively allows for an operation range of 14,000km+.
