ICBM test successful!

The Aztec Lands would like to proudly announce that a test ICBM performed flawlessly in a test. It took off from a classified area, flew on all the waypoints, engaged automated defense systems to avoid being shot down by a missile, and detonated in a 3 megaton nuclear blast over Nopal Island.

The weapon combo has been named the Toniatuh-I/Quetzalcoatl-III.

Nopal Island, uninhabited, as well as a 75-km radius around the island, is now reserved solely for military use. Past that line, all ships and aircraft may pass through at risk to themselves.

Your much too new of a nation to be thinking about ICBMs right now.
ENTIRE POST OOC

Actually, this didn't just spring up. You are to blame for not paying attention to my progress:

Rocket construction begins- offensive rocket capability remains covert.

Nuclear fuels aquired for use in a nuclear program. Covertly, this is used for weaponry.

In another post (stupid search-timer won't let me pick it up), I announced that we had successfuly put a man into orbit.

In this post I made clear that Nopal Island was now being set up for weapons tests.

In this post I hinted that a nuclear weapon, but not necessarily an ICBM, had gone off.

In this post I made it clear that I now had nukes, but not remote delivery.

ONLY when I mention the four-letter acronym do people start protesting. This missile's capabilities are classified- but it is unlikely that it has that much range.

Furthermore, my economy is not a breadbasket: http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php?nation=Aztec+Lands

Finally, if you decide that countries with populations under 300 million can't have nukes, then the USA, France, Great Britain, Pakistan, and Israel are all Godmoding.

Not another! Too many people are developing major weapons.
He edited his post. Damn. Well, if you don't like nuclear proliferation, just spend the money on a good Star Wars system and hope for the best.

It ain't a breadbasket (your economy), but it ain't the best, either. I do applaud the effort you've obviously put into this. Nuke away!

(I'm glad I'm off planet)

IMPERIAL REPLY: I hate the bastards- I give them a simple rule, i.e. "Please don't dump the toxic waste in the drinking water" and the economy tanks from "Very Strong" to "Good."
