The Type-94 Assault rifle was designed with the soldier in mind. It is lighter, more reliable, more accurate and more comfortable to use than the older Type-89 rifle.

Caliber: 7.62x54 mm NATO
Action: Gas operated, rotating bolt
Overall length: 844 mm
Barrel length: 420 mm
Weigth: 2.95 kg empty, in standard configuration; 4.0 kg with 40mm grenade launcher
Magazine capacity: 30 rounds
Max Effective Range: 400
Cyclic rate of fire: 550 rounds per minute

OOC: comments? what should be the price?

The picture makes it kinda look like a SMG, but its good.

I'd set the price at a range from $500-$700.

It kinda reminds me of a German G3A3 or British Stoner Self-Loading Rifle. Was that your inspirtation? To be honest, I do like it. I'd expect to pay about 1,000 Gil for it. It's compact, very light...but whats the muzzle velocity, rate of fire?

I would like to place an order for 75000 units priced at $575 each. I need a lightweight easy to use gun to equip units of my Artillery fire support groups.

Yeah, the angle kinda makes the stock look short. Thanks for the pricing suggestion, I'll set it at $600, but export is $650 :)

Thanks for reminding me. I set it at 400m, which makes it about equal to the AK-47.

Eh, I just looked at the Type-89, and tried to box model it. And that's what came out when I rendered. I'm setting the muzzle velocity to 975 m/s, that makes it about equal to the Steyr Aug. Cyclic rate of fire is 550/rounds per minute.

$650 is the price per unit. And do your own calculations please.

OOC:Actualy, I'd think it would have a max range of about 500m, as the 5.56 has a much higher velocity than the 7.62x39.

OOC:JA, just a little typo, the 7.62x54 is an old Russian round, I think your thinking of 7.62x51(I own one of those, very accurate, very good range, but a ton of recoil, not good for automatic fire)
