Beijing-China declaration of independance

Beijing-China

With the sounds of a warzone in the background in the streets of Shexian in Southern Hebei Province. The charismatic Beijing buisnessman recently turned Politician and Military leader steps up to the microphone to adress the new nation.

"It is done," he said looking straight into the camera. "We are now a free nation - and it was all done relatively bloodless and without much military action accept here where we had to face our brothers in battle.

"This is our declaration of independance - in sumary - We the people of Greater Beijing believe in the freedom granted to every individual by natural law - it is the responsibility of the administration to maintain and defend that freedom and to secure the environment needed for the full potential of the people in what interest they wish to pursue and what intellictual and physical property the people work to aquire.

"It is the people of Greater Beijing that have called for this and it is the people of Greater Beijing who have achieved this and it is the people of Greater Beijing who will maintain these freedoms - the freedom of speach, the freedom of religion and the freedom to ellect to office those who will represent the people and those who will inact the laws to defend these freedoms.

"Now, here is what we demand from the rest of China. We will Continue paying taxes and shiping the same produce and resources the rest of these 2 provinces supplied to the mainland for the next year without change. And we are releasing all members of the Communist Party over to Chinese authorities at this location and anybody that wishes to leave these provinces may do so now as well.

"but we demand that China not attempt any military action within the Hebei, Province or the Beijing and Tianjin districts or we will strike back and defend ourselves. We require the immediate withdrawl of all Mainland Communist Forces from our lands and that no Buildup of forces be attempted at the borders of Hebei and we will not have to strike preemtively. We will pull back all Beijing Forces from Hebei in one year and declare it a De-militarized Zone of Beijing-China. But this will depend upon the peaceful actions of China in the following months. If Mainland China cooperates - trade will continue - but our resources will nolonger be the property of those who have not worked for it, it is the property of Greater Beijing, and the people of Greater Beijing will decide how we will deal economically with the rest of China.

"Once again the only changes that need to happend at this point are the removal of non-indigenous communist chinese forces. All outflow of resources and trade from these provinces with the rest of China will continue. Depending on China's immediate response.

A week earlier

Beijing buisness guru and billionere Sun had a clandestine meeting with his major compititors through out the Hebei, Beijin and Tianjin districts.

The room was void of peace - it was also full of only democratic party supporters - which also happend to be the majority this year.

"It would be imposible without military force - at least the threat of military force. We would need to supplement police on the street maybe tripleing them for at least three months to maintain law and order. We simply would be sacrificing the freedoms of protest and speech temporarily but it would be essential to maintain security, ot protect the citezens. But we can't do that I dont care how many arms you've smugled through the port for the militia. And they wouldn't be any real deterent against a real military response from the rest of China. This cannot be done.

Shiro, his aid, handed him a phone - Sun took it.
"Sir Sun - this is General and Commander of the Beijing Military Zone, me and my Officers are loyal to your cause and the cuase of a free China. At your Command we are prepared to mobilize and withdraw all units to the province of Hebei and to insert special forces to contain all communist party loyalist and hardliners within the beijing and Tiajin districts immediately - the entire operation would take roughly 20 hours. But we must begin soon - my officers have had to contain loyalist within our own ranks by force and although they were fast and clean operations Sino forces will know what we are doing within in 24 hours and the surprise of our bold moves will be insignificant."

"Then we begin now. What do you need from Beijing General?"

OOC:Uhm yeah its probably a good idea to Roleplay out how you achieved this - and I think you picked the wrong Province to play a rouge nation form China I mean its the capital.

I cant imagine Washington declaring independance from the US without a General Military response. Its the equivalent to a declaration of civil war if you dont do it carefully in the extreme - its probably impossible to avoid military action.

________________________________________________
We, the people of Zhejiang Sympathize with your actions and offer assistance to the Greater Beijing cause.

We strongly urge the People of China to seek a diplomatic solution to these events even though it apears to be a military operation - we believe these actions to represent the interest of the Chinese people of this region. To respond with military force to the new nation and administration would bring broadspectrum resentment by the Chinese people at large. You must not destroy the forbiden city.

We offer Zhejiang's Embassy as the location of bilateral talks between Beijing and China.

President Kang Xi, Zhejiang

"Get Beijing on the line, those are some odd movements in the new mongolian province. We need to know whats going on - are our friends in Hebei and Beijing in trouble?"

Just dont come to Hebei or you will face the might of a reinforced Beijing Military Zone over ideally defended territory.

:D

We are interested in negociating new trade agreements with the rest of China - including Hainan-Kanabia.

OOC: We're actually most of SE asia. Check my factbook if you want a map.

IC: I don't think so. We'd rather not trade with an anti-communist nation, being communists ourselves. Leave us alone, and we'll leave you alone.

(Never mind the many thousands of troops routinely placed along the original Chinese border)

To the Socialist Workers Democracy of Kanabia

We are prepared to reinstate the communist party in the new democratic system at Beijing if you will open up a dialouge with us and conceder trade negociations. The Communist Party would have to work within the newly established democratic/congressional process - but they would remain free to make thier case.

Our Embassy at Beijing sincerely awaits your diplomatic response and mission.

As we are democratic marxist ourselves and support democratic regimes of any form over dictatorial socialist ones, we are more than happy to accept the proposal.

President Kang Xi - we cannot and will not be talked down - we will not go back under the boot of the Psuedo-Democratic process of Red China again.

We've demanded fair representation of the three districts for years within the system to no avail. And our buisnesses and trade oppurtunities with the rest of the Asian Community and as a result investments have been minimal - because our wealth is always thrown into the Chinese Military and to the Civil projects across greater China - but we are never reembursed for our losses.

That ended this week. And we are not going back. Will you help us or allow China to turn Heibi and Beijing into a blood bath?
Zhejiang
12-10-2004, 15:23
We will send what aid that we can - and we will petition the newly established International Fleet to help you establish a no fly zone over Heibi.

We will also left half our special forces units and 2 armored-mobile-infantry divisions to Heibi and Beijing to help maintain law and order and augment your defense force as they form up if you accept.

4800 mobile troops with 230 MBTs and 1200 armoured transports

On this condition - when the emergency situation is over you conceder joining the International Space Exploration Conference and the International Fleet when and if you conceder a space program - it will not be going it alone in space.

This proposal interests us.

However, before committing to it, we would need to know the exact details you had in mind for such an endeavour. We run a quite protected and socialised economy, so we would not be too keen to have the corporations of other nations attempting to exploit our workers through labour. The sale and import of goods can be accepted, provided the corporations wishing to sell the goods go through the Ministry of Production. We are not at all adverse to the unrestricted travel of persons, and free exchange of technological advances, though.

Anyhow, we would be happy to send our most seasoned diplomat, Dr. Ngoc Dien Phu, to conduct negotiations in person.

Do you have a Space Program? Would you be interested in joining the Internaitonal Fleet - it would allow you purchasing rights to International Fleet Defense systems as well as significant discounts on Aerospace Planes and Transports. Have a look at the International Fleet Storefront - the link to it is in my signature.

A standard IF Defense Group has begun recon operations in your region and Group Captain will host a defense stragety session with your minister of defense at your earliest convience.

Your detachment include the Orbital Guard ships, the Revelation and Boat Man and thier assigned Heavy Gun/Dropships and Fighter/Bombers - this is only a precaution as we are still expecting a response from China over the Great Beijing declaration of independance and the formation of the DUA - we hope they are never called into action.

Will China Roleplay? Or has there military and leadership collapsed in the light of thier capital and the eastern provinces declaring independance?

As you may or maynot have noticed - DUA Forces preemtively launched a fullscale invasion of and pacified the Communist Build up in the Anhui Province - the territory has been divided between the administration of Zhejiang and Shandong-Jiangsu by the River - The Shanghai district has conceded and joined Zhejiang territories under the condition that a communist party be maintained and represented in the political process of the Democratic Union of Asia.

We agreed - and we have begun fortifing the current boarders between the Democratic Union of Asia and the rest of China including the construction of a 2nd Great wall from North to South - The 2nd Great wall will include integrated defense installations for air and ground forces including automated unmanned defense mechanized units.

We recommend China militia and the Peoples Liberation Army not amass troops at our boarders or aproach the boarder uninvited.

OOC: Yeah. It's not that large. You should see Holy Panooly's claim thread, plenty of people have more. I'll get into this later, probably tomorrow. I might grab a piece of China in the process, using it as a place of exile for communist refugees from the other provinces.
