Yesterday mass-chaos erupted in the normally silent streets of Limestone City on the west-coast of sector 8. An anti-Foxx Duman protest starting out peaceful ended in violence.
ALL protests (peaceful or violent) against the current government are strictly prohibited. Police forces were immediately called in. Officers quickly arrested several of the protesters when a large group of gunmen rushed from behind. Violence immediately broke out. Back-up police forces and soldiers from the local military base were rushed to the scene.
Five police officers, seventeen soldiers, eight protesters, fourteen gunmen, and three innocent bystanders were killed. Six people left with minor injuries. All of the protesters, excluding the eight killed, have been taken into custody. As well, the leader of the group & organizer of the protest is being put under interrogation.
Foxx Duman, dictator of the Arctic Badlands, was attempted to be interviewed on his way to his private mansion in eastern Dumanville. Duman flipped off the crowd and ordered his private henchmen to remove everyone off the premises.
However, Gen. Xavier Quinten, chief officer of The Arctic Badlands Army, issued a statement in response to the event. “Such acts of violence against the regime of the honorable Foxx Duman shall NOT be tolerated” he said, “and those all of those involved will be brought to justice. The protesters that were arrested shall face judgment from Mr. Duman himself. As well, each and every one of them is being questioned. The Army along with the Navy, Air Force, and national police forces will be doing all possible to prevent further occurrences from taking place.”
By the recommendation of the Ministry of National Security, Foxx Duman has placed the nation on alert level 3. Police have been ordered to patrol cities and towns nationwide. Citizens have been urged to be on the lookout for suspicious behavior. A reward will be given to anyone who turns in useful information.
