(/ooc I checked the maps, and it looks like nobody has even decided to stake any kind of claim to the following areas, so what the heck: )
The Okhotskoe Sea and surrounds
-Kamchatskaya
-Khobarovsky Oblast
-Magadanskaya Oblast
-Koryaksky A.O.
-Sakhalinskaya Oblast
Admiral Wintergreen surveyed the view of a great portion of the surrounding landscape from the side of a local mountain. One of the Godulan Aircraft carriers was visible in the ocean, just barely on the horizon. "Does anybody even LIVE here?! Its so... so... not people filled. Just look! Forest! Everywhere! Its a lumberjack's dream! Except for the volcanoes of course. That could be a problem."
"Easily defensible though, sir," a nearby adjutant said. "And just smell that air!"
"What air?"
"Clean air, sir."
"You mean air isn't supposed to smell like sulfuric acid?"
"No sir. It actually smells like this."
"Pine cones and squirrel shit?"
"If that's what you smell, sir, your nose survived Godulan atmosphere surprisingly well. I meant that it smells like an ABSENCE of smog."
"Oh. Well. Huh."
"Its a novelty sir, I know."
"Ah well... There was a small town about 500 miles south of here, it would likely be prudent to speak with them while we set up installations around here. All this... tree-ness spooks the HELL outta me. Any sign of civilization would be just greaaaaaat."
Wintergreen and his adjutant walked back to the helicopter and floated off. Leaving nothing but a surprised squirrel watching the spinny fly thing float away.
