OOC: Well after returning to NS there are loads of nations I don't know so on the basis of what they have seen and what older nations still seem to think I would be interested in seeing the answer to this question though I think I'll know what to expect.

After viewing Drum Gods actions in prior conflicts, and relying on the conversation that was had with Phalanix which clearly stated your intention to war-monger and conquer sovereign territories, we view your nation with the upmost suspicion and a grave threat to world peace.

Less of a menace than most. While we have had no dealings of any substance with Drum Gods, we are perturbed by the recent (unexplained) mobilisation order issued by that nation. Nonetheless, there are worse threats to the peace of the world than Drum Gods, though they may not be apparent to the unobservant.

From our time knowing Drum Gods we do not see him as an evil but as a nation trying to bring itself back from the dead and protect tis assets.

Yes, I am the first to vote "no". My general look was that nations do this generally all the time and I for one think any nation can get an ally to help them fend off an attack. I see you as doing what most nations of your class do.

When pressed on the matter at a recent press conference, Foreign Minister Nathanial Sun released a short public statement. In part, it read:

...We have been slightly alarmed at the recent declaration given by Drum Gods, with the apparent intention of armed aggression against the Maldives, one of the Commonwealth's overseas territories. At this time however, we have more pressing concerns, and do not view the Empire as a 'great threat.'

The only colony we have regained is Iraq. Simply because our good ally The Silver Turtle had taken control of it back during 'The Forsaken Age' when we lost our colonies. Now the Silver Turtle after many years has returned the colony to us as a gesture of goodwill.

Yes but Drum Gods you must realize that these people are now free and any action against them will bring the weight of the free world down upon you. So I'm asking you please don't go off and start conquering peoples it just makes you look stupid.

They are former colonies. Our cultural stamp has been made there. We intend to retain control of these lands in the future. This will hopefully occur through thoughtful, peaceful negotiations. Otherwise force may be necessary.

IC: When DG makes his 1st offensive action, IDF and those who wish to keep world peace will attack him to make sure it is his last.

However, as the NS world is the size of Jupiter/made up of many planes/is a transdimensional tessaract (etc), how can any area have any strategic value?

We want our colonies back hopefully through peaceful negotiations. However currently we have no plans to take back the colonies. We have more pressing matters.

Ok. Drum gods... I don't really know that much about them but I know the polls are leaning against them. I am not that much for :fluffle: and more for the :mp5: kind of thing so I say we just invade or blow em' up or shoot em' all or something because I havn't really seen a full scale war in a good while and I beleive one is in order :D

Sarzonia views Drum Gods not only as a threat to world peace, but we consider their warmongering ways in light of joining the United Medical Alliance a laughable proposition.

We remind Drum Gods that any attempt to take territory that belongs to one of our allies will be viewed as an attack on the soverignty of our allies and will dealt with accordingly.

Euroslavia laughs at your attempts to justify the unrighteous acts at uniting an 'empire' that was never united in the first place. One mistake that you will never forgive yourself for is underestimating our military strength. Granzi is our ally, and we are merely stating that in the event that our ally is unjustly attacked for controlling a territory in which your radical government believes should be within their control, our military would 'have it's way with you'. I highly doubt that majority of these nations that control 'parts of your former empire' will give them up, and forcing them to do so would be catastrophic on your part.

Well, I'd start by pointing out that there is no way we would give up the Sinai as it is Israeli territory and shall remain as part of the IDF's Israeli Jewish State.

If Drum Gods decides to attack us or any of our allies that are on the list, we will fight to stop them along with many nations that will feel they are next or hate imperialism. Drop your list now Drum Gods or at least sign a non-agression pact and answer our invitation for a summit.

The whole philosophy of the nation revolves around its profiting through expansion which they do so by investing in defence and the military. So in fact they are all highly well trained because they have to be. The majority of both government and corporate finances go into the military. Numbers mean nothing if they can all be destroyed as they cannot protect themselves or fight.

When you move resources to such an effort, you create weaknesses elsewhere. The more motion, the larger the weak area. Such is simple logistics and results.

Yes weaknesses= no welfare system or spending on social equality.

ic: There have been many, many threats to NS World Piece.

I remember the terror that was the Bisson / Dark Terror - until we glassed him.

I remember the alliances that formed, and fell - with the goal of imperialistic expansion.

And yet, in the end, those that fight to maintain the peace and order of NS always remain - firmly committed to keeping nations like yours on a leash - a fitting symbol for a nation of dogs!
