The first commonwealth troops arrived in North Korea's Pyongyang, docking at the ports and traversing through the streets to the garrisson.

Major Tubleskov felt rather uneasy. He didn't think it would be this easy, he thought the North Koreans would resist.
"Never mind"
He leant back in his tank command chair, and was about to relax when there was a rocking.
"What the bloody hell was that?"
"Sir, enemy shell, sir" His gunner replied.
Shit.
"Location?"
"Just down the street.... there it is with some enemy infantry"
Tubleeskov jumped out of his seat, or at least as much as the tank would let him. He grabbed the control mic and blurted out commands.
"ENEMY INFANTRY AND ARMOUR AHEAD! RETALIATE! OPEN FIRE!"
As he said so he was met by a rattle of .303 rounds, and two shells screaming down the street towards the doomed Korean tank.

"Yes mr Ambassador, it has happened"
Ambassador Simon Straffage picked up his red phone to the still-established government in South Korea.
"The North have responded in force to our troops."
"I knew it" The voice resounded on the other side through the telephone.
"Don't give me that. What I need is use of all your airbases, docks, and the legality to drop more troops than states in the constitution in your nation."
There was a pause on the other side.
"Of course Mr Ambassador. Whatever to defeat the Northern Dogs. I shall put all our forces on alert to hold the border until your troops arrive"

There was a mighty explosion, and the sandbags toppled down. Wai-Fai-Lay dived out the way, and got up again. Another roar of shells from the Northern battery, and a huge crater on the other bunker. He grabbed for a radio, and tuned into Command HQ but there was no response. He could hear the battlecries, loud and deadly, and looking over the precipice of the 38th Parallell he could see the Northern troops and tanks advancing.

OOC-Basically the North has resisted against me and is also attacking the South. Its the Korean war all over again. If you want to help, I will let TWO people, and only as long as they promise they won't steal my claim. It would just be a fun RP, not for your gains.
[Obviously mine, since this is a claim thread]

One Week Later
PyongYang
Tubleskov readied his last magazine, as the troops around him loaded their last cartridges with fear, kissing each bullet for luck. The last remaining tank was destroyed by Korean resistance fighters yesterday. The first battle for Pyongyang was over, leaving the docks in bloody ruin. Tubleskov gulped as the last roar came, and the North Koreans bounded over the rubble towards his position.
"Wait untill in range...... FIRE!"
He screamed, opening up with his pistol. Three Koreans fell, but four took their place and the advance did not stop. He dropped his pistol, drew a knife and gutted the first Northern soldier to leap over the ruin. His men did the same, some using their rifles as clubs while others drew large machetes. Tubleskov and his men fought valiantly, but they were outnumbered and eventually butchered by sheer weight of numbers.

The 38th Parallel
8th of december
The Northern tanks smashed with renewed vigour against the Southern lines, which quickly fell. Fielding only eight divisions, of which six where annihalated, the Southern defense quickly grew to a full-fledged rout to Seoul. Pursued all the way by Northern troops, it seemed the capital was to fall. South korean troop total was around 4,000 combat-worthy soldiers and an even smaller amount, 850 combat ready vehicles. The North possessed some 75,000 soldiers and around 10,000 vehicles, and their 5,000 artillery pieces were bombarding Seoul day and night. Southern airbases were hard pressed to fight back, with an air-patrol capability ratio of 9-1.

10th of December
As the last Korean troops retreated from the farms outside Seoul, their armour smashed and their air support grounded, a massive Northern assault ripped through the poor-supported partisan defence line and straight into the city.
14th December
Fierce fighting ensued, but at last the Northern armour reached the capital building. The buildings around were in ruins.
15th December
It took the North a whole day to clear the capital building of near-suicidal Southern Koreans, and at last the flag was raised above the building. There was a scream, and everyyone looked to the sky as the three Hogsweatian aircraft let loose their missiles and bombs, blowing the Northern flag from the top of the building. There was the distant rumble of heavy armour, and the roar of heavy artillery pounding the outskirts.
16th December
The Northern day-long occupation turned into a surrender as Hogsweatian forces, led by Field Marshall Ben Graham, 250,000 strong with armour and artillery and air support. Graham left several divisions in Seoul, and advanced with his men into the 38th parallel.
23rd December
After days of heavy fighting, the North defence lines were broken and the Hogsweatian forces spearheaded through into Pyongyang.
24th December
Although the North were fierce fighters, the Hogsweatians pushed on valiantly and reached the capital building. Kim-Jong-Il of North Korea was officially executed as war criminal, and North Korea was official in the Hogsweatian Commonwealth.
25th December
Announced National Korean holiday. The North and South are merged together to become United Korea, a protectorate of Hogsweat.
