LAS-XF5 "Finback"

"Following the union between Lasatania and Ruro-Severia, Lasatanian State Defence Industries adopted several projects in development by the Ruro-Severian state factory. One of these was the F23 figher project, now reclassified the LAS-XF5 Finback.

The LAS-XF5 is a single-seat air-superiority fighter designed as an affordable alternative to the LAS-XF2 Foiler and LAS-XF3 Firestorm. With a unit price of $50M, the LAS-XF5 is competitively priced against the MiG29 and F/A-18, yet provides the user with superior performance compared with such fighters.

Full testing of the new fighter has been completed and pre-production orders are currently being taken.

We would be extremely intrested in the purchase of around fifty such fighters. Please name your price.

For fifty fighters, with a 15% discount, the total cost would be $2.1bn. Delivery would take place over the course of the next 2NS years (or 2 years in whatever timescale you choose!)

wtf? what happened to the middle of tha plane? its vanished :D

OOC: Well it is a small fighter! :D Put it this way, I found one picture of the concept and that vanished, spent best part of half an hour finding another! I think of it as an Su27 that's shrunk in the wash! :)
