IMPERIAL SPEECH, TELEVISED
SIDEWINDER CITY, 6 CALLI-1 OCELOTL-12 COATL (OCT 9 2004)
-TRANSLATED-

Citizens of our Holy Imperial Lands, citizens abroad, and foriegners: it is with great pride that I announce that our space program has been a large success so far. We have put humans into orbit, we have conducted docking, EVAs, and other measures needed for our goal. Now we set our sights higher again: I hereby announce that I am appropriating funds to land an Aztec on the moon.

Since the Americans landed on 9-Calli-1 Ollin-4 Xochitl (July 20, 1969), no one has since landed on the moon. We seek to be the second nation in the world to do so. With modern technology, it will be much easier than the endeavor of the Americans.

It may cost us. We have been lucky- nobody has died yet working in our program. But we must be sure to do this correctly and well to keep this number to a minimum.

I hereby vow, that within (seven years) we will accomplish this goal.

Good night, and remember our creed: Victory with unity and our gods!
