The LRRN has recently seen it fit to reorganize the LRRN, and add several new systems to the inventory.
First and most notably of all, the Son House class fast missile boat will recieve a major upgrade. It will be lengthened by ten meters, and the powerplant will be upgraded to the newest-model L&F medium maritime hybrid drive modules.
The most notable change will be the addition of modular systems. The Son House is really too small a platform to carry AA, ASW, and AsSW systems all in one hull. Therefore, the LRRN armories have developed a series of interchangable weapons mounts. The dual MDG-351 CIWS mounts and dual RBU-6000 launchers will remain constant on all versions, as will the navalized RBS-23D SAM system.
Modules will include:
8-missile RBS-15F system
NAVLAR artillery rocket system
SA-11 MOD long-range SAM system
90mm navalized gun
76mm navalized gun
The Son House has a very low draft, giving it access to narrow coastal waterways, and its stealth characteristics make it easy to conceal from enemy aircraft or ships. It also can hunt submarines while making very little noise, and has better seakeeping characteristics than other vessels of its size class. Other information is the same as on the original (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=349423).
*Note: Replace 630mm homing torps with RBU-6000 ASROC system, some other minor changes.
These interchangable mission modules will allow the Son House to adapt to a wide variety of combat situations and operational needs. Modules can be, with a trained crew, changed in fifteen minutes. This will improve the flexibility of LRRN vessels greatly. The LRRN currently operates some 120-135 Son House class vessels (or 800-1,000, if you want to go by no pop-caps).
The LRRN has also taken delivery of 20 Spanish Castle Magic class patrol corvettes, based on the Castle class patrol vessel used by the royal navy.

The Spanish Castle Magic class vessels, the first of which are the LRRNS Axis, LRRNS Bold As Love, LRRNS Little Wing, and LRRNS Spanish Castle Magic, were built at the Sakhalin'sk shipyards and operate in the Sea Of Okhotsk.
The class is designed for environmental monitoring, oceanographic survey operations, rescue operations, icebreaking, anti-smuggling, fisheries patrol, and relief operations. Its bowl-shaped hull allows the ship to crush through many feet of ice, and its comprehensive crew features allow the vessel to go on cruises lasting many months.
The Spanish Castle Magic class is powered by a pair of L&F (Lunkwill and Fook) maritime hybrid diesel/electric drive modules, supplying a lot of power. Tests are underway to fit the vessel with hydrogen fuel cells as well. The powerplant can supply a sprint speed of close to 30 knots, and an economical speed of around 18-20 knots.
The rear helipad can accomodate the full range of LRR helicopters, including the Sea King, Ka-27 series, Mi-8 series, Sea Knight, and even the CH-47 used by many allied and regional nations.
The crew of 45 are fully NBC protected, and can even grow their own food with on-board gardens.
The ship is generally armed with a 40mm or dual 23mm cannon mount, and the crew can be equipped with SA-19 missiles, but the class is meant as a peacetime vessel. The ship measures 81 meters from bow to stern, and can survive very very heavy seas.
Cost: 140,000,000 USD
