Czar Fabus Disbands Federal Senate

Decisive Action

“This is Joseph Mladic of the White People’s Radio and Television Network. The Federal Senate has been disbanded by our glorious Czar, Roger Fabus, following their refusal to support his efforts to curtail the slave trade and ultimately to end slavery. We will replay the footage inside the senate and then go live to what is currently occurring there.”

Footage begins: Roger is seen walking into the senate, the two hundred senator, a great deal of them are fat, middle aged or elderly, white males, turn to look at him as he walks briskly and proudly to throne built he uses when he is attendance of the senate meeting or presiding over one. All rise as he walks by them, when he sits, they finally sit. He starts to speak, “Senators of the federation, I, your Czar, Roger Fabus, will speak with you about recent matters that concern the federation.” He pauses and for the next ten minutes, they are constantly clapping, finally an SRG man activates a flashing light and the clapping ceases.

Roger smiles as he turns to the head of the senate, “Will the chairman of the Senate please tell me the support for the bill to extend the Mississippian ban on slavery to Mississippian Egypt and Western Sahara, and to no longer recognize slaves acquired before the ban, as legal slaves, but as free citizens?” The speaker didn’t even unroll the scroll; he simply shrugged his shoulders and laughed, “It failed, one hundred and twelve to eighty-eight.”

Roger sighed as he looked out at the senate, “Will you support this bill and pass it for me?” The overwhelming responses were shouts of, “No!”, “Never!”, “Are you mad!”. The Czar sighed, stood up again, and then cleared his throat before speaking into the microphone, “You may all return to your estates, this senate is disbanded and your services are no longer required here. I thank you gentlemen for your time and wish you well.”

Back to Mladic:

(Mladic) “We now go live to the Federal Senate where the now unemployed former senators are commenting.”

A reporter from the WPRTN was asking questions as the senators were leaving the senate building.

(Reporter) “Senator, senator, please, a comment sir?”

The man shook his head, “No comments other than the Czar is selling out Mississippian Egypt and Western Sahara… I just hope to God he doesn’t just free the blacks and Arabs and let them remain in our lands. If they must be freed, so be it, but send them back to their own lands.”

(Reporter) “Another question sir.”

The senator shook his head again, “No, I really have no time for this, I must be going. I’m going to move to Western Sahara and start a campaign to become a Senator in their Commonwealth Senate.”

The reporter moved up and down the sidewalk in front of the senate building, asking a few dozen senators, the ones who would answer questions, various questions about the disbanding of the senate.

One of the senators who voted for the extension of the ban, smiled and said, “At least he did it for the right reasons, I was a senator back in 1987 when Curtis had the Special Republican Guard Alpha Company disband the senate… They came into the senate and held pistols on each senator, asking, ‘Would you like to vote yourself out of office now, or shall we handle removing you from office?’ it was the only vote that we ever had that was unanimous, a hundred percent voted yes to disband the senate.”

The reported chuckled, “Yes, we all have fond memories of the late 80s, the golden years, truly a great time in Mississippi… So what are your plans now?”

The senator raised his brow, sort of puzzled and stumped by the question, “I guess I could just retire and spend some time with my family. Anyways, family is more important than looking for another job when I don’t even really need another job. I have plenty of money to retire on. I think the senate was a headache mostly; they never accomplished much except derailing or attempting to derail good legislation. Oh yeah, I left out, they got into a lot of fist fights, knight fights, pistol duels, sword fights, and such. I think last year there were twenty senators who were seriously injured to require at least a month of hospitalization, and then the eight senators who died in pistol duels, the four in the knife fights, very heated arguments…”

The news went back to Mladic, “The Czar has declared he has no intention of interfering with the Commonwealth Senates and that he only disbanded the Federal Senate so he can pursue his anti-slavery agenda to eventually outlaw slavery and the slave trade in Western Sahara and Mississippian Egypt.”

Ooc-

The Federal Senate were mostly jerks who sat around and voted themselves pay raises or business deals for their friends with big corporations. One of the Senators, a CEO of a tobacco company, tried to get a bill passed to make his tobacco the official army issue ration (Right now the army issues every soldier Fabus Premium Cigars, Fabus Premium Chewing Tobacco, Salazar Imperial Cigarillos, or Stahlecker Regal Cigarettes, depending on the request of the soldier. They get six rations a week (6- three packs of cigars, 6 five ounce pouches of chew, 6 ten packs of cigarillos, or 6 twenty packs of cigarettes. 90% of the soldiers choose Fabus Premium Chewing Tobacco, since smoking is frowned on in the army, although most support personnel and desk jobs smoke rather than chew)

Also one Senator, the CEO of an alcohol company, tried to get his alcohol to be the official navy issue. All sailors get 1 bottle of Schacht's Fine Brandy every week, or they can get a 12 pack of beer every week.

Ooc- Just so you know, the federal senate was first disbanded in 1987 by Curtis Fabus, then it was revived in September of 2004 by Roger Fabus, then disbanded just now (November of 2004)

On behalf of Dictator Paul 'The Mad' Silver we applaud the you on taking such a hard line stance against a corrupt senate. (And one that won't follow orders) When the Dictator took power he never even had a senate instated knowing it would just be a hindrance. Hopefully this will bring Mississippi into a new era where intolerance and prejudice against only certain groups is abolished and intolerance and prejudice is brought down upon all below you.

The JRV Government commends Czar Fabus on disbanding his Federal Senate.
Chancellor Brash told reporters today, "I should of thought of that a long time ago. Disbanding Federal Parliament would do wonders for this administration, and I thank the genius of Czar Fabus for reminding me what I have to do in order to maintain a strong dick-tatorship."
The Leader of the Opposition today expressed his concern at Brash's comments. "That old fool is starting to worry me, ugggg..."
He died a short time later.

In the House, the Prime Minister expressed her agreement with Chancellor Brash. Standing with a gun pointed at her head, Ms. Hatcher said, "Our Lord Saviour Chancellor Brash would be absolutely justified in disbanding this absolutely ridiculous House of Representatives."
The speech was followed by a loud round of applause as secret police moved in on the parliament.

Maybe you should reconsider what you did by disbanding the Federal Senate. I am a dictator/emperor too but I still allow a democratic Assembly to take place. Maybe the problem wasen't with the Federal Senate but with the senators? If they are that corrupt as you described them then if I where you I would have locked them up in a political prison and hold new senate elections.
