There is an abh ship out near the space station orbiting Nation Safugnoff. The crew of the Basroil is out on patrol. The Commander of the ship is a princess of the Royal Abh family and has the rank of Deca-Commander. The only other Abhs in command of the ship are Ekuryua who is Second Line Wing Aviator and in charge of communications and manning laser cannons.
The other is Sobach. She is Head-Flyer and in charge of manning the radar and the status of the space time orb. The other crew members are human.
Samson is the Line Wing Aviator and in charge of enginge out put. Jinto is the supply officer and in charge of the crew and making sure they are at their posts.

Mean wile the UFS Enterprise –D was traveling at high warp though the sector it was ferrying a few ambassadors from a conference on Tigris 109 it slowly dropped out of warp as they detected the ship in orbit of a planet rob sat back on his chair and looked to one of his officers at tactical working on trivial adjustments.

Rob “ Lt what are you detecting ?”
The officer looked over and said “ sir were detecting some ships in orbit of a planet … just out side of federation space ..”
Rob scratched his head and said “well plot an intercept course maxim warp “
With that the enterprise warped out and a few moments later drooped out of war inside the system rob sighed and said “move in closer “ the helmsmen nodded and moved the ship in

The Imperial Star Destroyer Diplomacy is out on patrol, ready to beat up any pirates that cross the Captain's path.

"Anything?" Captain Ishamel asked.

"Nope nothing but...hey wait a minute."

"What?"

"There's a system that seems have appeared. It's not in any of our charts."

"Really? Must be a new nation. Alert the Emperor of this. Helm, set course for the system. Time to make some magic!"

"Yes sir."

After a report was sent to Imperial High Command, the Star Destroyer jumped into hyperspace for the system...

Sobach checked the radar for the . . . she had lost count. They had conquered this planet monthes ago and the Admiral of the fleet still thought it was necessary to maintain a pressence here. Like the United Mankind was going to show up after losing so many vessels. She looked down one last time at the radar. This time a single ship was on the radar. There was something different about this ship. It was unlike any she had ever seen. She turned to the Captain, "Captain, I'm detecting a ship about a hundred sesgedrous away."
Captain,"Is it the enemy?"
Sobach,"No. The vessel is of unknown origin and unknown class."
Captain,"Alright crew we are going to go and investigate. Ekuryua. Keep communications open in case they try to reach us."
Ekuryua,"Yes Captain."
Captain,"Alright let's go. Half-battle speed."
Samson,"Yes Captain."
The Basroil moves off towards the ship.

A flash of psuedomotion and the Star Destroyer reappeared in the Anh system.

This is Captain Ishamel of the CSD Diplomacy.
Welcome to the galaxy! May I request an audience with your leaders?

Two ships of the Harmonia Mortus Fleet slowly ploughed the stars, they had tried horses, but they tended to implode in the vacume.
The comm section of the wooden ship contained no radios, sophisticated narrowband comms, or even the normal basic stuff, instead there were rows and rows of crystal balls, though this might pass unnoticed when looking at the overall design of the ship.
It was a sailing ship.
It had (Suprisingly) sails.
It was, in fact, perfectly capable of reverting to its old role as a ship of the waves. The crew was however, at this point, several billion miles from liquid water other than what was in the holds.

"Archmage, we have a contact, metal it seems. Looks like a ship." The commage looked up at the Archmage in charge, hoping this wouldnt result in being hit again.
"Tell the captain to set the new course, put the crystals on flank and bring me another glass of wine. MOVE!" The Goblin middies scattered at this command, presumably in search of alchahol.
Soon enough the order was relayed to the bridge and the crew had wrestled the ship to its new course.

COMM TO UNKOWN VESSELS:
Greetings, we are authorized representatives of the Harmonia Mortus' United Kingdoms, please identify yourselves unkown ships.

The UFS enterprise hailed both unknown ships
Rob " this is Robert bastidas of the Federation star ship enterprise Greeting on behalf of the federation and TFU we come in peace

Ekuryau"Captain, two more ships have appeared and one would like to know who we are."
Captain,"This is starting to get out of hand. Send a reply telling them that is the Basroil and I am Deca-Commander Abriel of the Star Forces. And please inform everyone that they have invaded Abh territory and we would like an explaination. Ekuryua, send a message to headquarters requesting more ships."
Ekuryua,"Yes captain" She sends the message to all ships and sends a message to HQ.

COMM TO UNKNOWN VESSELS:
Greetings, we are authorized representatives of the Harmonia Mortus' United Kingdoms, please identify yourselves unkown ships.

"Well well well, if it isn't a diplomatic convention." The captain smiled. Soon, another couple of ships, including an X-wing starfighter, also reverted to realspace.

We are the Imperial Republic of Coreworlds, ready to extend the olive branch of diplomacy to anyone and everyone.

"Heh. Nice, son." An older Ambassador said to me over comms. Oh, hi. I'm Daniel Masaki, the kid in the X-wing. I'm the Heir to the Empire, and 14 years old. I'm doing this trip cause my Dad wanted me to, you know, establish relations and all that. Now let's see how they reply...

The enterprise received the message and rob responded on an open frequency And said
“ I’m wondering .. would you like to meet face to face to open diplomatic discussion ?”robs fellow officers looked at him with confidence he sat back awaiting a reply tensely wondering what the other ships would do wile his crew perform other tasks around him

The captain listened to all of the replies."All of you will have to meet with us in person to explain your intents. I do accept the Imperial Republic of Coreworld's offering of peace. As for the rest of you, I will be looking forward to the reason for your VISITS."
Right then the reinforcements asked for, came out of their space time bubbles.

Captain,"Ekuryua. Tell them that if it is to their liking, any ambassadors they wish to send can meet us on the planet's surface. Please send them the coordinates of the ambassadors meeting hall."

Ekuryua punches in the coordinates to all ships.

Daniel Masaki, the Heir.

I whistled. These ships are sleek and powerful. Better not mess with them.

"Diplomacy this is Prince Daniel. We won't be needing any firepower. You can go about your business. Over."

"Yes, my Prince." The captain said, before he left to resume patrols.

Bleh, I hate being called Prince, but I guess it comes with the package. "Ok, Ambassador Chedwiggen? You ready?"

"Ready as ever, Daniel."

"Ok." Forming up on the Imperial Shuttle, I headed over towards the Anh planet with the coordinates given.

Rob looked at the console as he received the location and said “prep the runabout “ he walked off wile officers walked by him on the turbo lift and corridors he arrived at the shuttle bay he opened the runabouts door and walked in he sat on the helms controls and the runabout launched a few moments later it entered the atmosphere and whooshed over the location laying down a few meters from it rob jumped out and started walking towards it dusting his Star fleet uniform off

"We do not appreciate threats, but we will communicate with you on a more personal level, an open docking bay would be useful. If you are willing to accept our personell please prepare to receive a party."

Captain,"An armed escort has been prepared for your ambassadors. It is only a precaution so do not be alarmed. They will show to the conference hall."

Captain" Ambassador of Harmonia. This is not a threat. This is self defense since this many ships have come into our space from unknown nations and uninvited I might add. If you would please, a shuttle will dock with your ship to bring your ambassador to the planet."

"My ambassador will meet with all of you there."
She turns of the com. "I already have a headache. Send a message to the transport and tell it to dock with their ship."

Rob looks around waiting for other delegates

I landed with the shuttle at the coordinates and disembarked. The 50-year-old ambassador is a veteran diplomat, having solved many peace problems around the galaxy. With him, is a golden C-3PO droid named Sparkla and 10 other people, his staff. I wonder where's the welcome commitee is. I didn't have to wait long, for some armed guards waved over to show us the way.

The Star Destroyer continues to patrol the area for pirates outside of sensor range, but it only takes one distress signal and it comes in with an amazing display of it's displeasure.

Jinto enters the room after exiting the Basroil. He notices Rob alone.
Jinto"Greetings. It seems you are the first one so far. Hopefully this can go smoothly."

Jinto sees Daniel and his entourage enter the hall. "Greetings Ambassadors and welcome to the Humankind Empire Abh. We will get started as soon as the ambassador of Harmonia arrives."

The guards escort us to the meeting hall. I could recognize the president of the Fedral Union, but I wondered who the kid is. Maybe he's like me, a heir.

"Hello." I walked over. "I'm Daniel Masaki, heir to Coreworlds. What's your name?"

Jinto was a little surprised to see someone so young as an ambassador but he realized that he had been an ambassador many times to other planets."I am Prince Jinto of the Lynn Sune Roc Hyde system. Pleased to meet you."

Rob walked over and held out his hand "very nice to meet you my names Robert "

The Archmage choose this moment to strut in through the ships airlock and march into the meeting room.
"Hello," He said, rather stiffly, "I am here to represent the intereststs of Harmonia Mortus. Am I late?" A small, skinny man scurried in after him with a scroll and quill pen, he was burdened by a huge pack crammed with such scrolls, some blank, some were covered in obscure symbology apparently relating to diplomatic matters.
"Do you speak English well? Or will we need a translator?"

I made a face when the ambassador from Harmonia Mortus came in, not very diplomatically. I do sense that he's pretty strong, though. (OOC: through the Force)

"Yeah, I'm pleased to see you too, Prince Jinto." I said, shaking his hand, then lowered my voice so that only Jinto can hear. "I wonder what's up with that ambassador?"

Jinto whispered to Daniel"I have no idea but it doesn't seem like he will be very cooperative."

Jinto"No ambassador, you are not late. We were just waiting on you. We all speak english pretty well so there will be no need for a translator. If you could please sit down and we will get started. The first matter of business is that our empire would like to know the reason for each of you being in our territory."

"Yeah." Now down to business.

"We came here because we noticed you are a new nation, and wish to intiate diplomatic relations with you." I said. "And perhaps a trade agreement, as well. Ambassador Chedwiggen over there will stay here to set things up. I'm just the opening show."

The Ambassador waved from a chair he's sitting in.

Jinto,"It seems that you were mistaken. This empire is fairly old. Maybe you've just now heard of us since this planet was just recently conquered. But I recognize that you are here on diplomatic purposes and will agree to listen to your terms. I cannot guarantee that everything will be accepted but allies would be a nice change since we are in the middle of a war. If you have any documents prepared, I can send them to the Emporess for her approval."

Jinto looked at the ambassador from Harmonia," Now if you would kindly state your reasons for coming into our empire's territory, ambassador."

Jinto,"It seems that you were mistaken. This empire is fairly old. Maybe you've just now heard of us since this planet was just recently conquered. But I recognize that you are here on diplomatic purposes and will agree to listen to your terms. I cannot guarantee that everything will be accepted but allies would be a nice change since we are in the middle of a war. If you have any documents prepared, I can send them to the Emporess for her approval."
"Well, there's the usual treaty of peace, drawing of borders, things like that." I said. "We can offer you a trade agreement if you wish."

Rob looked around at the other delegates sighing and sitting back mumbling “at least I know how picard felt “ he took a sip of Romulan ale
Mean wile in orbit the enterprise D was patrolling the system it slowly glided from one point to another making sure nothing was aerie

With the usual nonexistent fanfare, Soren popped into real space, its imposing bulk eclipsing the Enterprise D's sight of the system's star.

Following quickly behind came twenty heavily armed war frigates, their scarlet hulls brilliantly lit, denoting their allegiance only to the planetoid sized ship they were assigned to escort, a Battlecruiser - the Dune Lord - looking like some gigantic edged weapon poised to strike at the very heart of its enemies.

All was silent, and the only movement was a ghostly light, along the trenches bisecting Soren's oddly shaped bulk.

Within these trenches, hangar blast doors cycled open, running lights adding to the ethereal glow, and defense turrets began to power up, diagnostic and DNI systems buzzing to life.

The Soren-Sa Fleet began advancing, ignoring the smaller ship below. Its objective was most obviously the planets within the system.

An age old custom, the ships did not hail the planets, simply advancing.

Riker jumped out of his seat in the captains ready room and ran over to the bridge “status he!” the ops officer looked over and said “Sir we have a fleet of war ships heading for the planet ..””Riker hmmed a bit “Red alert Shields up “he yelled Then said “helm move us to an intercept course full impulse “ the helms officer nodded and moved the ship quickly in front of the enemy vassals Riker then said “Open a hailing frequency “ his ops officer nodded and did so Riker stood up and said “This is commander Riker of the UFS enterprise – D please identify your self if you do not we will take that as a hostile act”

Alyssa addressed the screen with the stoic manner ruling a massive fleet could only give one, her tall, blonde blue eyed face glowed with a mixture between contempt and annoyance.
'This is the Soren-sa Fleet. We will respond to any hostile act with extreme prejudice. We are here for diplomacy, Enterprise.' Came her clipped reply.

'And for further note. If you, or any of your ships ever put themselves between a cityship of the Exiles and a trade centre again...' The woman let the threat hover, and cut the channel.

'Bloody Hells. You'd think after all we've done for these people...' Hissed Alyssa, turning from the screen and settling back into her chair.

'They'll never know, because we don't let them know...' Came the reply from her aide.

'Damn Nina and her hidden Goals. I fail to see where hiding such things will get us, other than obscurity and attacks by upstarts.'

((OOC: Don't mind Alyssa. It's her time of the month.))

Jinto,"I think a trade agreement will be most wise."
Back in Space . . . .

Ekuryua,"Captain. The Enterprise has detected a large fleet heading our way and they have armed their weapons. The unkown fleet seems to be heading for the planet."

Captain,"Shields up! I want laser cannons ready and prepare the anti-proton cannon. Send a message to Admiral Spour requesting her aid for possible battle."

Ekuryua,"Yes Captain." She punches in the message to the admiral and gives orders to the reinforcements to form on the Basroil.

Captain,"We will stay behind the Enterprise for support. If an attack occurs, prepare the other ships for mine battle. Attack vessels will go in behind the Enterprise in wedge formation to cut through the fleet and seperate the enemy ships."
Abh fleet moves into position

Noticing the peripheral fleets powering weapons, Alyssa sighed and waved open a broadband channel.

'I see our reputation does not preceed us. Very well.' She began. Her stoic grimace became a peaceful smile.

'We are the United Exile Colonies, Fleet Soren-sa. We are interstellar traders. We're here for diplomacy and information exchange.' She sent the official digital flyers and broadened her grin an inch. 'It's a custom of ours to jump into a system and not hail on approach, to test whether or not prospective business partners are willing to ask first, shoot later.'

Her grin lost wattage and a conspiratorial glint entered her eyes. 'A stupid custom, I assure you all.'

"Captain, you'd better take a look at this." The long-range scanner officer reported aboard the Diplomacy. The recent scans showed a large fleet bearing down on the Anh system.

"What the hell?" Captain Ishamel cursed. "Ok. Engage battlestations. We're heading in."

As the klaxons blared and the Red Alert lights spun, the crew swiftly and orderly went to their battlestations as the Imperial Star Destroyer jumped insystem.

Minutes later, the powerful mile-long battlecruiser arrived behind the supposedly hostile fleet, just catching the open communications. It is clear to the Scarecrow fleet that the battlecruiser means bad things if they try to do something nasty.

"Damn, they sure scared everyone. Stay on alert." The Captain ordered. "If even one sneezes, let me know. Get firing solutions if they make trouble."

"Yes sir!"

What the hell are they trying to pull, spooking everyone and almost starting a war?

Ekuryua,"Captain. Transmission coming through."
The Captain listens. She thinks for a moment.

Captain,"I am Deca-Commander of the Basroil and I ask that your fleet remains right where it is. We to have a custom. We don't trust those that come in with an entire fleet with weapons armed under the flag of diplomacy. Since there are already ambassadors on the planet in the middle of negotiations, your business may be conducted here through the com."

She turns to her crew."Be ready for anything."
Crew,"Yes Captain!"

I'm going to have Sawyers assassinated. Affirmed Alyssa. Why send us out here? What's her little plan? Mused the woman, before noticing the hyperspace exit behind the Soren's fleet.

'Dune Lord, match out against Enterprise and the newcomer, they so much as threaten to fire, you have authority to engage. War Frigates, power down weapons and spread to capital picket line. Ambassador Freeman? Your shuttle's ready.' Snapped the woman, watching the displays warp and change at her whim.

'A'tuin? Get me Sawyers now.' Long distance Wormcom.

'Any firing solutions, and you break them, fleet.' Advised the woman.

The enterprise moved to counter the maneuvers . its weaponry still hot scanning constantly watching them

Jinto,"I think a trade agreement will be most wise."

"Yes, it would be." I said, feeling a tickling of trouble in the Force. "Ok, we can basically leave the details of the tradestuff to our diplomats. The important thing is to sign formal agreements of peace and trade. Like here."

Ambassador Chedwiggen pulled out a document and it floated from his hands to mine.

Treaty of Anh

We agree to the following terms:

1. Exchange Ambassadors.
2. Establish Trade Routes.
3. Mark borders on all starmaps and respect them.

"Is this good enough for now?" I asked.

Jinto looked over the document."I think this will be good enough. If your diplomat will follow one of the guards, he can show him to a shuttle to present the document to our empress."

Jinto reaches out his hand,"It was a pleasure to meet you."

Dune Lord's twelve kilometre bulk dropped behind the fleet, and rotated on its axis. Its weapons were idle, but it looked like a very nasty piece of work, even if the Main Cannon and defense turrets weren't charged.

Perhaps it was the slightly charged atmosphere, or maybe the Battlecruiser's highly tuned Sentience screaming tactical scenario nightmares, but the captain of the ship didn't like this situation one tiny bit.

'Shhh... My DNI's buggered, don't yell...' Pleaded the mildly hungover supreme Commander of the Scarecrows.
'Ugh. Hold on.' She snapped the WormCom and looked back at the confrontation.

'Standby, please. We're launching a gesture of our good will.' Broadcasted the woman.
The hangars previously opened, began belching out hundreds of cargo transports, freighters, flatbed tugs, LRFs, SRFs, a veritable armada, heavily laden with Class 1 Biotech and Medical equipment, weapon components and textiles, art, valuable machinery, foods, the normal fare of any Cityship, and its productivity.

'I'll put these in sensor lines. You can scan at will. We're here for diplomacy and trade. Despite our silent running. I can tell you why over coffee and in person.' Reported the woman, before flinching and looking at Enterprise's silhouette.

'I advise against doing that, Commander, our CSentients are trigger itchy, at the best of times.' Trivial warnings. But a potent threat, nonetheless.

After listening to the transmission, Captain" Scan the frigates."
Ekuryua,"Just as she said."
Captain,"Ok. Send a message to the Admiral telling her fleet to stand down. Out 25 vessels and our allies here are good enough to hold them off should they attack."
Ekuryua,"Yes Captain."
Captain,"Send a message to their captain. A freight will be by to take the cargo and your diplomat may go down to the planet's surface to engage in negotiations with the other delegates. Only your diplomat may go though. An armed escort will be there to greet him and show him to the hall."
Turns to Ekuryua."Tell the freight to take the cargo to a secure location on the planet and open it with extreme caution."
Ekuryua,"Yes Captain."

Rob smiled walked over with a flick of a pen signed it “there we go lets hope your nation signs this as well“ he smiled

Jinto," I have already signed it and I'm positive the Empress will also agree. If you could send a diplomat to go with Ambassador Chedwiggen, the signing might go more smoothly. All that's left is for the Ambassador of Harmonia to state his terms."

"Sir, scans of the packages seem to show innocent things. Gesture of goodwill?"

"Probably. Take the alert down a notch." The captain suggested. Clever bastards. Hopefully, it's a good sign.

"Yes sir." Nonessential crew were stood down, but the main crew was still alert, like the crouching tiger who watches his prey's movements.

The cargo ships obligingly moved into a convoy setting, and began the descent towards the hub. One final ship erupted from the flank hangar. A tactical command vessel, stripped of its weapons, and painted startling naked white, sailed into the void.

Inside the Operations centre, Alyssa flagged the ambassadorial ship and watched Visionary wind into escort formation over the convoy.
She returned to her WormCom.

'What is the meaning of this?'
'I need information on Abh, and I'd like to at least extend rudimentary services to them. And it'd be interesting to gauge the reaction of the FU and Coreworlds to the arrival of a Tradefleet.' Came the reply.
'We jumped through Hive Territory to reach this area. We were set to DEFLEV 1. You knew we'd attract attention doing that. What are you up to?'
'I'm not that dastardly, dear Alyssa.'
'Bullshit.'

Captain,"Ekuryua, send the landing coordinates to the Ambassador's ship."
Ekuryua,"Yes Captain." Punches in coordinates.

Freemen stared at the system. The glowing white glyph in the middle was obviously Visionary.

'Sir, we've recieved coordinates for a landing zone. ETA six minutes under conventional drive.' Reported the pilot over the DNI.
'Indeed? Interesting. Yes. Yes. Interesting.' The man was distracted. Fidgety. Something was bothering him, even as he left the safety of his home to journey to the planet below. Normally he'd be relieved to be far away from such a gigantic morass of potential violence...

Alyssa monitored the Star Destroyer's (IFF flagged it as Diplomacy) progress. The Dune Lord's attention was upon Enterprise, and the two would swap every few seconds, as tactics would allow, thanks to the DNI.

Captain,"Ekuryua, send a message to Jinto informing him of another Ambassador coming down. We really don't know what they want so be on your guard."

Jinto," Great. Another delegate. This beginning to get crazy." He turned to everyone in the rooom. "It seems that we have another Ambassador joining us."

I shook my head and smiled. "Looks like you're getting a bit popular here. Let's see who comes."

Jinto,"Believe me. I prefer to remain unnoticed."

"I can see why. But you will have to face such things sooner or later." I said. "It's just life, I guess."

Her floating tactical display grew, and several notification glyphs burned to life. Nope. Nothing unusual. But that could mean their Prelim hadn't been so thorough...

'Fullscale scan.' Ordered the Captain, before waving away the previous data.
Several spindly sensor nodes extended from the Trench matrice along Soren's midsection, glowing an eery cyan, to offset the amber glow from the trench.

The pilot nodded and artfully twisted the ship towards the designated area, and switching to repulsors, keeping the ventral hull clear of the tarmac. The gentle hum was countered by a booming clap of thunder, as the point defense field collapsed. The vessel's port airlock cycled open, and a young man, barely out of his twenties, stepped out and leapt down the final metre.

He waited as the armed escort approached, hands by his side, slightly stooped and with a tired looking demeanor. This was Ambassador Freemen.

Mean while in space . . . . .

Captain," This is the Captain of the Basroil to all ships of the Abh fleet. Crew members are to stand down from battle stations for the moment. Ships are to remain on full alert for any signs of aggression. Crew members are to take shifts at their posts and get some rest. They may be needed later."

Samson,"Captain, might I suggest that you get some rest. I'll look after things on the bridge. That goes for Ekuryua and Sobach."

Captain"Yes. That seems like a good idea."

Samson,"Don't worry captain. If anything happens I'll let you know." under his breath,"Especially about Jinto."

Captain,"What was that?"

Samson,"Oh nothing Captain. Please get some rest." The Captain, Ekuryua, and Sobach leave the bridge.

Rob got a message threw his com badge he taped it saying "bastidas "
Officer "sir we just got new....... there’s been a mass mobilization of all forces ... all over the union sir .. there’s been a draft and ship yards are now 4 times past there peak .. were being deployed around this area of space to Sucre it .."
Rob looked around in disbelief "how the hell is this possible ? "
Officer :”Eisenhower says were going to be in charge of task force 3 in this area the sith might be coming after us.. ” (the message was board cast on all channels )
Rob “ I see…..”

Samson had fallen asleep at his post on the bridge. He was thinking about his favorite bottle of booze how he couldn't wait for a chance to get to the bar. He was wakened by the insistent beeping of the radar. He jolted up out of his chair and looked down and noticed ships coming in through the sord,the only source of space time travel in the area. He grabbed the com button to the captain's quarters to wake her.
****Second's later everyone is at their posts******
Captain:"Sobach, how many vessels are there?"
Sobach:"There is a large cluster of Space time orbs. Approximately the size of fifity vessels."
Captain:"We only have 25. We are going to need a help. Ekuryua. Get me Supply Officer Lynn on the Safugnoff."
Ekuryua:"Yes Captain." Brings up Jinto on the screen.
Jinto:"Yes Captain, what is it?"
Captain:"The United Mankind has launched an attack most likely after the ambassadors from the other nations. I need you to enlist any willing ambassadors to help us with this fight. Tell those that are willing to board their ships and report to me for further instructions."
Jinto:"Yes Captain"

Jinto looked at the delegates currently in the room."My Captain has told me to inform you that we are under attack by superior numbers. She is asking any of you that are willing to fight to help us. Those that choose to fight with us may board their ships now and report to the Basroil for briefing on the battle situation. Unfortunately I must stay, because there isn't a transport that can take me back to my ship before the battle."

"How good are they?" I asked, getting ready to go for my fighter.

The Star Destroyer was alerted to the incoming enemy, and powered up it's turbolasers for battle.

Jinto:"Considering that they are coming after ambassadors sent to our empire, they are probably sending some of their elite commanders."

"Man!" I groaned. That means that I'll have to extensively use the Force when fighting in my fighter. "I'll call in for some help, then. I'll be back!"

I ran for my fighter, telling Rocky to start up the engines. The fighter was purring like a kitten when I reached it, pulled on my helmet, and jumped into the cockpit. I opened the throttle and headed up into space to join the other X-wings already deployed.

"Ready, Commander?" I asked the lead pilot, Commander Denson.

"As ever. We've called in for help, but it'll take some time."

"Right." I said.

The Star Destroyer pointed it's dagger-shape at the enemy, ready to open fire at a moment's notice.

The Captain haled Daniel on the comm. "Thank you for answering our call for help. Our current plan is to divide the enemy fleet in two. Our 15 fighters are going to cut down the middle in a wedge formation. They will only engage if the enemy gets in their way. Our 10 battleships will keep the gap from closing behind them by firing mines at the enemy on the left and down the middle to open up the gap. Daniel, your men will take the enemy that splits to the right. Once our fighters break through the middle they will scrape across the rear picking off lone ships until the rest can be reunited. Any questions?"

"Nope." I commed, then commed the Captain of the Star Destroyer. "Got that?"

"Yes I did. Moving into position, now." The captain replied, and then the Star Destroyer headed towards the right, while the fighters prepared to attack. Red Squadron and I (12 fighters + 1) will aid the allied gunships in smashing through the middle.

"Ready when you are!" I commed Jinto.

Captain:"Ok then. We appreciate the extra help from Red Squandron. Form into wedge formation. My ship, the Basroil, will be the tip of the wedge and will lead the charge. The battleships should be in position by now. On my command the battleships will launch a small mine attack to weaken the front-line for us." The captain of the Basroil waits a moment appreciating the quiet. She takes a look at her crew on the bridge then gives the command.
Captain:"NOW!" With that, the battleships launch mines. She gives the mines a little delay before bringing the wedge to the enemy.
Captain:"Samson, battle speed!"
Samson:"Yes Captain!" The ship shoots forward followed by the rest of the formation.

The order given, the starfighters zoomed in with the allied gunships and each pilot pulled up the targeting program for proton torpedoes, and linked the torpedoes so that they'd fire two at once. We waited for the R2 units to sound the alert for targets locked...

Captain:"Sobach, prepare the anti-proton cannon to fire. Ekuryua, ready the laser cannons."
Sobach and Ekuryua:"Ready Captain!"
From the fleet of the United Mankind comes a barrage of nuclear fusion missles. One ship on the left is destroyed. Basroil fends off the wave.
Captain:"Prepare to fire the cannon at the ship at 12 o'clock."
Sobach:"Target sighted."
Captain:"FIRE!" The anti-proton cannon fires destroying the ship in front. The remaining abh ships follow suit and the enemy fleet begins to split. The battleships on the left fire mines ahead of the formation to open the gap more and also starts engaging the enemy on the left.

Using the Force, I launched my first two proton torpedoes at the lead enemy battleship and broke off, followed by my squadron as we dodged the nukes. 26 torpedoes were launched at the enemy, then we began pelting any fighters and small ships with our laser cannons.

"They've begun, sir!"

"Good. Open fire!" Captain Ishamel ordered.

A massive barrage of deadly green turbolasers lanced out at the enemy ships on the right, smashing into the first few ships. The United Mankind fleet should now learn what it means to fight a Star Destroyer!

In a single moment the Star Destroyer had destroyed 5 of the United Mankind's ships. With the combined attacks of the battleships and the ships destroyed in the attack by the gunships and fighters, 35 of the enemy's ships remained.
The United Mankind retaliated against the Star Destroyer with a barrage of nuclear fusion missles and anti-proton cannon fire.

Lafiel had gotten her squandron to the back of the enemy fleet faster than anticipated. They had only lost three ships which was impressive. The United Mankind was already in a panic against their new allies. The fleet was beginning to break up. This would make for her attack squadron to pick off ships.
Captain:"Alright. Well done men. Break into groups of three and pick off any enemy ships trying to flee. Remember to watch each others 6's. Any ship is welcome to join the Basroil, if they can keep up."
With that the Basroil broke off and headed to the left to join up with the battleships. The Basroil dodged yellow laser fire from the enemy. It was hard going but she managed to bring the ship to bear on a crippled enemy ship.
She turned to Sobach:"Fire the cannon at that ship." The cannon fired penetrating the hull and the ship blew into pieces. The Basroil went off in search for it's next victim.

"Shields down to 90%, sir!" a sailor said as the ship rumbled slightly to the retaliation.

"Very well, continue attacking!" The captain ordered. "Add the ion cannons in for good measure!"

"Aye, aye, Captain!"

The ion cannons are bolts of blue energy that have the ability to disable ships' shields and other systems. It's very useful when capturing pirates, and it helps to put larger enemy ships out of commission. When the blue bolts hit, they create lightning bolts that snake across the hull or shields of an enemy ship, taking systems down as they go.

Meanwhile, the fighters wheeled and blazed away at the enemy's weapons and sensor emplacements, stinging like the deadly army bees of Issus. One fighter went down to enemy fire, but we still continued on.

Dodging enemy fire, I made an attack run on one of the enemy battleships' bridge, loosing another torpedo into the surprised captain's view windows. before veering off and watching the fireworks.

The Basroil had gotten 3 ships this day and Lafiel was hoping to get at least 5. She came upon the rear of an enemy ship and fired the cannon into the aft of the ship. With the ship disabled, Ekuryua finished it off with the laser turrets. The abh were down to 20 vessels but they luckily still had all of their battleships.
The United Mankind lost interest in trying to fight off the Abh. They focused their attention to the Star Destroyer. An ion cannon was something they had never seen before so it was taking longer to repair the damaged circuits and get back into the fight. In an attempt to destroy their main threat, the enemy fleet surrounded the Star Destroyer and began firing on all sides. They did their best to ignore the fighters and fend them off at the same time. They were down to 30 ships and 5 of them were disabled.

"They're concentrating firepower on us, sir!"

"Great!" Captain Ishamel sarcastically replied. "Of course they would be..."

"Shields down to 65%!"

"Damn! Where the hell are the reinforcements! and intensify firepower!"

On cue a second Star Destroyer (Velociraptor) and a flight of four gunships appeared out of hyperspace behind the enemy fleet and opened fire, while launching a squadron of B-wing heavy bombers.

"Form up on the B-wings!" I ordered, taking over the squadron when Red Leader was killed by an anti-proton cannon. "Have them use our telemetry, and fire their bombs!"

Using our own targeting computers, the slightly slower B-wings wasted no time in launching anti-ship torpedoes and a couple of bombs each, even as us fighters launched a second volley of proton torpedoes. Now I have only one torpedo left, and I gotta make it a good shot...

Captain:"To all of the battleships, fire on the enemy fleet while there back is turned to us."
The Battleships launched another mine attack destroying many enemy ships.
Lafiel saw a ship heading for the sord trying to escape. She brought the cannon to bear on the ships. She told Sobach to lead the ship in order to hit the hull. The cannon fired and the ship blew into pieces.
Captain:"Ah number 7. More than I hoped."
Ekuryua:"Captain the enemy seems to be in retreat with the appearance of the other Star Destroyer."
Captain:"Good but keep fighting"
The enemy fleet broke off their attack and circled around the sord. This seemed peculiar to Lafiel considering that the enemy was down to 15 and her fleet hadn't suffered anymore casualties. Surely they don't think they can win.
Suddenly, out of the Sord came enemy reinforcements and a flying fortress. The reinforcements brought their numbers back up to 45 and the fortress was in the shape of a giant "X". It was about the size of both the Star Destroyers. The fortress had laser cannons for defense all down the sides with thick armor and heavy shields. The Abh only had 20 ships left and Lafiel didn't know how many the allies had left.
Captain:"This fight just got harder. Ekuryua, send a message to the supply ships telling them that the battleships are going to need more mines,fuel, and coolant."
Ekuryua:"Yes Captain"
From the Sord, the enemy fleet came out in a broad slow formation with the fortress at the center.

"Damn!" I cursed as enemy reinforcements came along. I radioed Jinto. "Does that think have any weaknesses?"

The captain called for reinforcements. A Star Cruiser and two Victory Star Destroyers are on their way, but it will be some time before they arrive. We're on our own for now.

Victory-class Star Destroyer: 900 meters long.

Jinto:"We'll upload all of our intelligence on the enemies ship. The fortress doesn't have many weaknesses. Your fighters may be able to get close enough to avoid the laser turrets, but I don't know how much damage you'll be able to do. The best as we can figure, the weakness is at its center where the sections come together. Good luck getting past all of those ships with just your fighters. We won't be able to retrieve reinforcements due to the fact that most are out conquering new territories."

Lafiel opens a comm to all ships."Form up! I want the battleships to focus on the enemy vessels. I want the Star Destroyers to weaken the enemy fortress. When its shields are down, Red Squadron will start its attack run."

The enemy attack ships break formation and charge into us.
Captain:"Here they come!"

The enterprise immediately broke off heading for the enemy forces firing its photon torpedoes and phasers at every witch one it could see. The single was sent to task force 18 ships in the area to maintain protection on it as the received the single the ships warped out of there location and with in a few moments warped in to the system the ships formed a sheet formation

The Star Destroyers concentrated turbolaser and ion cannon fire upon the fortress while the B-wings and X-wings went after the battleships, peppering their surfaces with laser cannons and torpedoes (from the B-wings)

"Launch Green Squadron!" Captain Ishamel ordered. Green Squadron was a squadron of E-wings, almost as heavily armed as B-wings with the agility of X-wings. They split up, and half went after the battleships while the other half fired their weapons at the fortress.

Losses 8 fighters 2 frigates) with that the union fleet broke off at full speed flaking the enemy on all directions. The massive federal fleet opened fire with every thing they had pumping out phasers and torpedoes at all enemy ships in there way the enterprise and 2 mardias maneuvered around and started pounding the enemies lead ship with keen maneuverability that’s unmatched . phasers and all sorts of torpedoes were pumped out of every federal ship

Unfortunately for the allied fleet, the United Mankind sent some of its elite vessels. Only one ship of the enemy was destroyed by the Enterprise's fleets barrage. The others were able to manuever out of the way. The ships returned fire with precise fire focusing on any weakness in the fleet.

An enemy squadron formed around the fortress to protect it from fire of the core world fleet. The enemy fleet returned fire in all directions. The fortress's shields were down to 90%.

The Abh fleet wheeled around the enemy advance to avoid the attack. With so few numbers, they needed to avoid head-to-head combat. The battleships set up position 100 dage from the fortess and began to fire remaining mines. The attack vessels set up positions to keep the enemy vessels away from the battleships.
Captain:"The Captain of the Basroil to all ships. We will setup here and launch our attacks. Inform us if reinforcements are needed."

The union’s fleet began matching the enemies maneuvers phaser fire pouring out of them hitting the capital ships and other small vassals defiant’s began to rush the fortress firing thousands of pulse phaser rounds and torpedoes maridas, Exlsior and galaxies maneuvered around firing phasers and tons of torpedoes at 10 ships at a time . the Arkia class ships began to fire there powerful phaser banks and torpedoes towards the fortress phasers powerful enough to rip though a hull like butter poured out of all federal ships towards the enemy flanks and heavy cap ships

Any ship foolish enough to try to break through the Abh attack vessels was utterly destroyed. The battleships continues their attack on the fortress. The combined attacks brought the shields down to 70% and the enemy was down to 35 vessels but still fought on stubbornly.

The enemy vessels wheeled to the left of the Enterprise fleet and fired on the rear ships with their cannons.

OOC: Time to bring in the last bit of reinforcements!

The Star Cruiser Dance of the Storm and Victory Star Destroyers Lightning Saber and Thunderfire entered the fray with 6 gunships.

The Victory Star Destroyers were ordered to concentrate firepower on the enemy fleet protecting the fortress while the Star Cruiser joined the Star Destroyers in taking down the fortress.

The enemy vessals begin to form a protective shell around the fortress in order to protect it from the Star Destroyers constant barrage. The enemy ships locked on to any shipped that got with in range and fired. The fortress unleashed a devastating barrage from it's giant turrets at the ends. The fortress's shields are down to 45%

Captain:"Red Leader, bring your squadron to form up on the Abh attack vessels and prepare for your attack. We are relaying our coordinates now."

Any ship foolish enough to try to break through the Abh attack vessels was utterly destroyed. The battleships continues their attack on the fortress. The combined attacks brought the shields down to 70% and the enemy was down to 35 vessels but still fought on stubbornly.

The enemy vessels wheeled to the left of the Enterprise fleet and fired on the rear ships with their cannons.
Most of the large and medium ships stood up to the barrage and contained firing

Captain:"Red Leader, bring your squadron to form up on the Abh attack vessels and prepare for your attack. We are relaying our coordinates now."

"Right!" I said and recieved the coordinates. I had Red Squadron and a couple B-wings form up on the attack vessels and readied for the signal while dodging fire.

A lone Wirrawayan Space shuttle, one of 10 launched in Wirraway's first attempt to conquer the stars, drifted into the battlefield.

A large unkempt man with a scruffy beard peered out of the porthole

"My god, what is this, what have Istumbled into" as a massive gray spaceship which looked roughly like a triangle powered past him, lasers and misiles blazing.

"He looked on with horrid fascination as what apperaed to be hell in space unfolded below him. Ships exploded violently outward a sthey underwent explosive decompression, body parts drifted all around, mixed in the with debries and detrius of destroyed ships. Laserfire and missiles pierced the dark void of space.

He adjusted his thrusters in a vain attempt to get out of the way of an oncoming fighter craft which looked vaguely like an X. He whsipered a final plea

"O Lord, please deliver me for I know not what has befallen me in this strange place"

OOC: If it's anything like the size of an Earth space shuttle...

"Sir, there seems to be a small shuttle that entered the area by accident."

"Huh. Tractor beam it inside. I don't want it to get hit by accident."

"Yes sir."

A tractor beam snagged the shuttle and pulled it into the main hangar bay of the Diplomacy.

George Verdani saw his life flash before his eyes, his hand still pushing up the attitude thrusters as the fighter drew nearer. The suddenly he felt his ship jerk upwards violently.

"What the hell, the thrusters aren't that powerful....unless something broke and I'm venting from the bottom.... oh god no."

He continued up and then suddenly found himself in a massive docking bay of some sort

"What the....how.." he was speechles.

He walked over to the porthole to take in the scene and was taken aback by what he saw.

"Hello." Came a clear Basic (English) voice from outside. "We took you in our docking bay for your safety. If you will step out of your craft, we can help you further. Please."

Verdani was operating on adrenaline, the shock of hearing another voice speking englsih was too much for him to bear. He went into a sort of shock and mechanically walked over the door and opened it. The door had not been opened for 30 years, it gaskets complained and stuck but George managed to pull it open. He descended down te retractable steps whcih he had so triumphatnly mounted back in Wirraway so long ago.

He stepped onto the hard cold metal that made up the floor of the massive room and attempted to speak

"Hello..... who are you? ummm....aa... wh...wh..what are you?"

"Humans, of course. You were expecting Rodians?" Captain Ishamel smiled, walking to the man. "I am Captain Ishamel and you are?"

"Uh, Major George Verdani, Wirrawayan Space Forces, ummm, what is this thing?" he gestured around him

"How did I even get in here? What kind of battle is being fought out there? I'm so confused right now, I've been drifting for 30 years now, dammnable ion drive cut out 3 years into the mission, I've been living off dehydrated peas for the last 10 years, no idea whats going on." He collapsed onto the floor before regaining his composure and standing again

"tell me you can help me."

Captain:"Red Leader, bring your squadron to form up on the Abh attack vessels and prepare for your attack. We are relaying our coordinates now."

"Right!" I said and recieved the coordinates. I had Red Squadron and a couple B-wings form up on the attack vessels and readied for the signal while dodging fire.

After countless attacks from the battleships, Star Destroyers and the Enterprise, the fortress's shields were down to 5%. The enemy vessels launched out at the allied fleet attempting to drive them back from the fortress. The fortress unleashed a barrage to clear ships out of the way for the vessels then vessels launched a barrage of their own. The head commander of the battleship squadron,Doron, radioed the captain of the Basroil.

Doron:"Captain.Ma'am the battleships have run out of mines to attack with and rifle ammunition is running low to. Pretty soon they won't have anything to defend themselves with."
Captain:"I'm sending a dettachment to escort supply ships to resupply the battleships. The Cid Royal will take 3 attack vessels and a few X-wings from Red Squadron with it."
Doron:"Good enough Captain."
Lafiel radioed the Cid Royal.Captain:"I need you to take three attack vessels and a group of X-wings to escort some supply ships to the battleships."
She then radioed Red Leader:"Red Leader, I need you to send a small group of fighters with the Cid Royal to escort our supply ships to the battleships."

"Uh, Major George Verdani, Wirrawayan Space Forces, ummm, what is this thing?" he gestured around him

"Well, basically, this is a Star Destroyer, and we're currently trying to defend an ally from invasion. You must have had an ordeal. Come with me to the sickbay."

I detached an X-wing squadron from the Star Cruiser and ordered it to help defend the supply ships. "Here you go, Captain!"

The squadron went with the Anh attack ships to help with the supply vessals.

Then I had a thought. "So that center of the fortress is the main weakness, eh?"

The fighters and attack vessels went to bring in the supply ships. From the Basroil, the captain could see the United Mankind pushing it's attack on the Enterprise fleet and anything in it's way. It would be a long couple of minutes before the supply ships got back.

After awhile the Cid Royal got to the supply ships. "This is the Captain of the Cid Royal. We will be escorting you to the frontline battleships."
The supply ships started moving out. The Abh attack vessels guarded the front while the fighters guarded the rear. It wasn't long before some enemy attack vessels spotted the convoy and decided to engage.
Captain of the Cid Royal:"Red Squadron, engage the enemy and keep them away from the supply ships. Our 4 ships will stay behind to protect the supply ships."

"Actually, it's Blue Squadron, but we'll help you anyway." Blue Leader said, and had his fighters fight off the enemy to keep them away from the convoy.

"So will I!" I said, and blazed away at the enemy ships, always keeping that weak spot in my mind.

Cid Royal:"Sorry about the mix up with the squadron just keep those guys off us. We can take care of any missles that get by but take of the vessels."

The escort begins its slow progress through the battle field.

Out of nowhere a group of United Mankind ships drop in for an attack run on the convoy.
Cid Royal:"Here they come! Blue Squadron get ready."

"We got some bogeys!" Blue 5 alerted the others to the torpedo boats.

"After them, but be careful!" Blue leader ordered, and the 12 starfighters pounced upon the torpedo boats, spitting red spears of laser bolts and shooting their torpedos when convenient.

A tickling in the Force..."Red 2 and 3, form up on me and ready what proton torps you guys have."

"Right."

"Yes, sir."

I made a large, half-corkscrew loop, and was soon aiming towards the fortress...

5 of the Torpedeo boats were destroyed by Blue Squadron and the supply ships made it to the remaining battleships.
Doron:"Battleship Gosroth to the Basroil."
Captain:"Go ahead."
Doron:"The supply ships have reached us and we are now resuppling our mines. Refueling will be completed in 5 minutes and we will be able to through out a final barrage against the fortress."
Captain:"Good. Don't wait for orders. Fire when all the ships mines have been resupplied."
Doron:"Yes Captain."
Captain:"Red Leader. This is the Captain of the Basroil. The enemy fleet is falling to pieces. Start your run. We'll have those shields down in 5 minutes. The center of the X is the command center of the fortress so that might be your target."

The enemy fleet was down to 15 vessels and quickly diminishing. The Fortress's shields were down to 5%. One more attack will destroy them.

"Already on it." I said, and lined up my final attack run with my wingman and Red 3 and 4. Dodging the enemy fire, I slipped into the embrace of the Force, letting it guide my actions...

The fighter rolled, yawed and banked, but it stayed in a cone that allowed me to stay on target and aim my nose where the command center is. Almost by instinct, I pressed the trigger, and with a [whump], my last torpedo was away. Red 2 and 3, loosed their last two torpedoes, but Red 4 was out of them. 5 torpedoes aimed for the command center as we veered away to watch the fireworks...

The battleships unleashed their final barrage of mines destroying the fortress's shields.
Captain:"Red Leader. Attack now!"

"Already on it." I said, and lined up my final attack run with my wingman and Red 3 and 4. Dodging the enemy fire, I slipped into the embrace of the Force, letting it guide my actions...

Seconds later the fortress blew into pieces throwing shrapnel everywhere.
Captain:"Nice shot Red Leader! Now let's head back and finish all of this diplomacy stuff."

"Thanks." I said, and exhaled as another battle ended. I headed down to the planet to finish off the diplomacy and left the fleet to clean up the mess.

The Basroil went to dock for repairs in the orbiting station. A shuttle with Lafiel on board went down to the planet to look over the diplomacy. When she got down to the planet, she was greeted by a relieved Jinto. Jinto ran up and embraced her in a hug.
Jinto:"I'm so glad you're safe Lafiel."
Lafiel:"Fool. Did you think I was inadequate to handle the battle."
Jinto a little taken aback:"Of course not Captain! I . . .was. . .well just worried. Never mind."
Lafiel turned around and giggled."It seems we made some useful allies. When they get here, we can finish this and start trade and sending anything they need."
Just then an officer walks in handing a report to her"This is the list of casualties from our fleet and the United Mankind."
Lafiel:"Thank you." The Abh had lost 10 ships. 6 attack vessels and 4 battleships. "Not bad for being badly outnumered."

Rocky gave me a list of the casualties reported so far as I landed. 8 fighters killed, 20% damage to the Diplomacy, including some hull breaches. I sighed. The costs of war...

As I disembarked the cockpit, I saw Jinto with Captain Lafiel and smiled. Must be an item...

"Hey Jinto, Captain." I called them.

Jinto:"Hey Daniel! Glad to see you made it. I hope your fleet made it out ok and not too many qasualties."
Captain:"Everything seems to be under control around here. I look forward to see what trade goods you can offer us that will help our soon ending war with the United Mankind. Is there anything that your people request from our empire?"

"I don't know." I shook my head. "I don't think there's much you can do for us."

OOC: I'd say that this is before the Sith attacked.

Jinto:"Why? What's happened? We are your allies now."

"It's not like that. I'm just not exactly sure what you can give us." I said.

Lafiel:"Perhaps if you told us what it is you require then we could tell you if we are able to supply you or not."

"Hmm..." I tried to think of something, then snapped my fingers. "How about setting up a tourism industry? If you have some interesting culture or architecture or even natural landmarks, you can attract people with them."

Jinto:"I don't know if tourism would really work for nation that has its capital in space. In any case, just remember that our Star Forces are here and ready to help should you need us."

"Yeah. I'll let you know if we do need anything." I said. "In the meantime, I shall leave Ambassador Chedwiggen here to act as my voice in matters of state. If you need anything, let him know and he'll contact me. Till then, may the Force be with you, my friend."

I bowed to Jinto and left for my fighter once again. This time, I headed home.

Lafiel and Jinto waved goodbye from the port.
