Due to a percieved penetration of the Command and Control Structure of the Wirrawayan Concordiat by subversive left-wing and anarchist elements, Coordinator Achilles Brown had ordered the institution of the largest pruge in Wirrawayan History, over 5 departments are currently engaged in this vital measure to protect the intergrity of Wirraway and its colonies.

Last week over 5,000 suspected Anarchists were detained and later summarily executed by firing squads, their corpses were dumped in the ocean. The Wirrwayan Intelligence Department has also begun to search through recently seized records of the largest Anarchist group in the Concordiat and through swift action, has managed to capture and interrogate over 6,000 members currently residing in Wirraway. Of these 6,000 roughly 4,000 were deemed irredemable and have since been executed.

As a precaution all members of the Anarchist's families are being detained to check for signs of corruption and subversive tendencies. Already at least 50 families have been found to have been corrupted and have been immediatly terminated to stem the cancer of Anarchy in Wirraway.

It is not known at this moment how many members that group had, but it is known that their aim was to topple the Wirrawayan government. The purges have been expanded to the entire homeland and the colonies. So far over 70,000 citizens with ties to subsversive groups have been detained.

The huge amount of Anarchists and other subversive elements exposed during the second great purge have been re-located to a camp in the Wirrawayan High Desert, code-named Stingray, this camp houses over 100,000 subversives and thier families who are either on trial, or are awaiting execution.

It has been decided it would be much more useful to use the condemmed to further the science of medicine, rather thn just executing them. As a result one of the largest Bio-tech firms in Wirraway, Biogen, has been given permission to build a hospital and research facility inside Stingray.

This research facility will focus on genetic manipulation and other bio-tech related activities to further the common good.

Southern Wirrawayan High Desert

The building had seemingly risen out of nowhere, 3 months ago this plot of land had been no more than a large sand dune, now in its place stood a sparkling new medical facility.

Ben Rather, Chief of R&D for Biogen, sat in his corner office, the smell of new paint making him slightly lightheaded. He watched through his window as the first batch of prisoners made their way into the testing area of the complex.

I wonder how the gene manipulation will affect humans? I still can't rid my mind of what happened to the chimps.....meh, whatever we have to do to further science.

The prisoners walked in a single file line, shackles run the length of the line and clinked with each step. The prisoners enetred a large white room. Armed guards rushed out and un-shackled the prisoners while scientist moved around, checkin out each prisoner for abnormalities and taking notes on electronic tablets.

A burly Sargeant walked into the room

"All-right, all of you here now."

The prisoners moved slowly over the Sargeant, a little unsure of what to do.

Suddenly the Sargeant drew his pistol and shot a straggler, the whole mass sprinted over the Sargeant in terror.

"Well thats a little better." he said as attendents took the dead man away.

He mentioned for the prisoners to follow him into a smaller room lined with beds

"All of you pick a bed, now."

The prisoners quickly found a bed, technicians swarmed out of other doorways, quickly strapping down the frightened prisoners.

Huge syringes were brought out on carts by more attendents. The Chief of Operation, Abdul Haq strode into the room

"Start with number 1."

A scientist walked over the first bed, the giant needle glinting in the artificial light. The prisoner began to scream and violently tried to throw the resraints off, he was silenced with a pistol whip to the head and began to whimper.

"Now this won't hurt a bit."

The prisoner winced as the needle pierced his chest, the plunger was brought down and the liquid was pushed into the man's body.

The process was repeated 10 times before the lights were turned off and the prisoners were allowed to sleep.

The journey from Chronosia to Wirraway took two days; and finally it had arrived. The great Imperial Sky Fortress touched down, shimmering with gold and weapons that denoted its position. A hatch opened and, flanked by Imperial Guard and Terminator armor clad SpaceMarines, the Emperor emerged; his black hair glistening in the light, his eyes deep and blue, his armor ornate and finely crafted. He bore a great powerfist upon his armor, and a Chainsword glimmered in its scabbard.
He stepped out onto Wirraway land, breathed deeply and smiled.

Coordinator Achilles Brown was a little taken aback at the sight of the Sky Fortress, having never encountered one before, but he quickly regained his composure and strode out to the Chronosian Empreror, who was quite a sight to behold, he looked as if he had stepped out of a futuristic version of the middle ages.

Achilles extended his hand to the visiting empreror and spoke,

"Welcome to Wirraway," he mentioned to a line a limos,

"The first one is for you and I empreror, our retainers and bodyguards can travel in the others."

He walked with the empreror to the limo as a driver opened the door for them.
The convoy then sped out of the airfield and into the massive monolithic structure that was the Command and Control Center of the Wirrawayan Concordiat.

Inside the limo Achilles struck up a conversation,

"I hear that your nation has considerable experience in dealing with genetics, is this so?"

The Emperor chuckled, motioning back to the car containing his bodyguards. "The Imperial Space Marines; The Adeptus Astartes, were created, one and all, from my own genetics. A Primarch for each was created from my own genetics, for example; my own son, Remiel, is the Primarch of the Unconquerable Angels and Lord of the Chronosian Inquisition."
He turns, smiling to the man. "We have used genetics to enhance and customise the perfect fighting force, one that knows no fear- simply because they are men become fear."
A wry chuckle.
"Now; tell me the nature of your experiments"

"Ahh I see, forgive for underestimating your prowess in this field. Our experiments are less ambitious, we hope to use it mostly for medical applications, to fight cancer, AIDS, and other forms of virulence. We also hoped to rid our nation of genetic disorders, but the millitary implications of this research has never failed to pique our interest.

Right now we are using condemmed subsersives to test our gene manipulation by first changing their genome by injecting vectors created by RFLP analysis and then infecting them with known diseases to test their resistance and hopefully extended this resistance to out populace.

We wish to also enhance our armed force's fighting capability, our next test subjects will be a group conquered tribesmen from Mozambique who we hope to turn into the ultimate special forces team, we request your assistance in this regard."

The limo stopped and Achilles led the Empreror through the gigantic concrete halls in the C&C. After passing through numerous security checpoints they took a private elevator pinnacle of the building and entered Achilles massive and luxurious office. The wall of glass that served a window, looked out over the sprawling country and far in the distance the ocean.

Achilles took a seat behind his desk and montioned for his guest to sit also.

"So, is there anyway you can help us?"

OOC: Unfortunatly I'm modern tech so I can't ally with you to help you in space, and I'd just get ignored if I had my whole army genetically modified hence only one team.

Achilles pondered the offer set before him, he was already in over his head with alliances, but he truely wanted this offered technology and he quicky reached a happy medium

"My friend, while I cannot ally with you millitarily at this point in time, I would not completely rule it out as a course of action in the future, but I would be most pleased if we could pool our resources to further the study of genetics. It seems that very few nations have explored the huge possibilities that Genetics offers, if you would like, I can take you to our research facility so you can see firsthand what we are doing and make any suggestions to improve our process."

Achilles and the Empreror boarded a Wirrawayan Special Forces Blackhwak helicopter for the trip to Camp Stingray. The Wirrawayan High desert was barren wasteland of and rocks, so it was ironic that the keys of life would be given to Wirraway in this desolate land.

The Helicopter touched down in a cloud of dust.

"Here we are Empreror, this program is in its infancy, as are all of our genetic programs, so bear with me."

He led the emprer through the front doors of the facility and down to the testing area

OOC: First off you are blatantly god-modding, I never said anything about refugees leaving the country so technically this whole incident doesn't exist, but I went along with it for the purposes of the RP, so just return them and no one gets hurt. Secondly, I could crush you like a fly. It is generally recognized in NS that a nation's millitary is only 5% of its population, if you have 70% to 80% your country would simply fall into economic ruin and chaos. I don't want to have to destroy such a new nation, its not fun. By the way my country is loosely based on the Netherlands, therefore I would be located in Europe.

OOC: Since my nation is similar to Switzerland (Neutral, doesn't send its military outside its nation), I think it's pretty fair to have 80% of my population in the militia. The militia is only activated for defending my country, so again, I think 80% of my population in the militia is fair. No, I'm not trying to Godmod, I just have a country that's a little unorthodox.

In Mozambique the Rapid Response Force (OOC:basically 2 Marine Expeditionary Forces), of over 120,000 men set sail for the nation of Avu-Akar Oivi. In addition over 1.5 million troops from around the Concordiat were dispatched to ports and following well used instructions, proceeded to board the logistics and RO/RO ships which would carry them to their destination.

The 1st 2nd and 3rd Wirrawayan Fleets have been mobilized in anticipation of their usage. They have begun moving towards Avu-Akar Oivi.

Aboard 5 Ohio Class SSGN cruise missile subs crusing 2,000 miles from the coast of Avu-Akar Oivi, telemetry data was relayed from sattelites and fed into hundreds of cruise missiles. Suspected millitary bases, Command and Control Centers and major industrial areas were all assigned missiles. The upgraded Tomahawk Cruise missiles that sat in the Ohio's missile tubes had a range of over 5,000 miles, thanks to some tweaking of the rocket moter and the addition of a scram-jet.

At approximately 0200 hours, the subs came to Launch depth and over 400 cruise missiles blasted out of the water, their rocket moters came on instantly as they jetted to mach 2 into Avu-Akar Oivi airspace. During the last stages of their journey they ignited thier scram jets and rockted to mach 4, diving 2,000 feet before slamming into their targets.

The first shots of the war had been fired, but they would pale in comparison to what was coming next.

Within half an hour, all city-states had AONM members on their walls, searching the horizon for enemies.

Admiral Holmes looked out at the open sea, and surveyed his fleet. He would be arriving in Avu-Akar Oivi within five days, along with five marine divisions. Two armored divisions were three days behind them, and would spearhead the drive into the country. The fleet itself would support the landing operations with cruise missiles and fire from the deck guns, along with air support from the carriers.

The skies lit up with wildfire as Drop-pods scorched the atmosphere; the entire chapters of the Lone Wolves, Fallen Angels and Emperors Chosen Adeptus Astartes Chapters, over 2 million men had poured from the countless drop-pods that had touched the earth. The Marines were not all who came; Dreadnoughts were deployed, Predator tanks and Whirlwind artillery rolled from the orbital drops; as the Chronosian Imperium prepared for war. Out at sea, several SOTAO (Special Operation Team of Avu-Akar Oivi) members, fully clad in diving suits laid mines against the bottom of the Wirrawayan fleet. "They are sure going to have a surprise in half an hour" one said through his underwater communications set. The another laughed and kept placing mines against the fleet. One half hour later, a violent explosion rocked the Wirrawayan fleet.

More and more AONM members filled the walls of the Avu-Akar Oivian city-states, some chanting "Avu-Akar Oivi...Ave!" and some chanting "Avu-Akar Oivi Kak Kakave!". OOC: Okay this is getting absurd, firstly, my fleet is still sailing from Mozambique and it in the middle of the open ocean, how could you possibly mine it? I'm thousands of miles from your coast. Secondly there is no way you could ever get close enough to do this. You'd have to get through my air-screen, then my sub screen, and then my escort, alos at this point I don't have to invade, you enlisted over 2/3 of your population the millitary, your nation will cease to function in about a week or so, then I can just waltz in and take my subversives back. The 1.5 million man Wirrawayan Invasion Force had been assembled and loaded onto their ships. The Invasion Force then proceeded to meet up with 1st and 2nd fleets. Together they formed the second largest Armada in the history of Wirraway as they began to sail towards Avu-Akar Oivi.

...Today a cruise missile attack rocked one of the Avu-Akar Oivian city-states.
The missiles slammed into the city in its industrial district, demolishing a cheese factory (OOC: Hey, a little humor never hurt anyone ) and two other factories, and severely damaging several other factories. An AONM meet up location was severely damaged, as well as several residential buildings. 1500 people were killed, 300 people are missing, and 200 are safe.

"Fiamme Nera" division is ordered to make a bombing run on the capital of Avu-Akar Oivi. 100 MiG-29 and MiG-33 take part in the fire bombing, cluster bombing and carpet bombing raids.

On the walls of the Prime-City state, soldiers stood sentinel.

In the strategic air-defense headquarters, more AONM members watched over radar screens.

In the air-defense headquarters, Roai Dosa noticed several blips appear on her radar screen. They were approaching the city. She reported to the comms officer. "Sir, several craft are approaching the city. It might be a good idea to tell the city air defense turrets to standby to fire on them." "Affirmative" he replied.

Toak Niave sat in one of the many missile turrets of the city, looking up at the stars, and occasionally looking around at the horizion. Suddenly, a message came in over his intercom: "Alerting all defense turrets, alerting all defense turrets, several unidentified craft are approaching the city, at coordinates a: 60 degrees e: 14 degrees. Standby to fire." Toak rotated his missle turret towards the given coordinates. The craft did not look even remotely like any of Avu-Akar Oivi's air force. One minute later, the comms officer's voice came over the intercom again: "Craft ID'ed as enemy, fire when they come in range." Toak and the many other turret operators pressed the firing controls for their ground-to-air rockets. The sky lit up as a barrage of rockets slammed into the Italian war planes.

The Italian planes hit evasive moves, the first wave took heavy casualties (6 planes down) and didn't complete the objective of bombing. The second wave was not hit at all and managed to firebomb the city. The third wave took 4 casualties and carpet bombed the capital. 10% of Fiamme Nera's squads that were sent to the capital went down in these raids, however, they were considered highly successful.

As the firebombs fell, AONM members quickly raced with firefighting equipment to the places where the bombs had struck. Because of this quick action, 94 people were killed, a number of causulties much smaller than what would have been if had not been for these brave militia men and women.

OOC: and the carpet bombs? to be realistic massive number of carpet bombs by over 30 planes would do some serious civilian damage.

Several militia members have volunteered to transfer from being on the wall to repair and upgrade the air defenses of the Prime City-State. In the other city-states, similar action is being taken.

500 bombers have been sent to carpet bomb the capital and to take out air defenses. The bombers are specifically going for civilian casualties. Littorio, Fiamme Nera and Penne Nera are all sending these bombers.

Despit the fact that the Prime city-state is built like a fortress, and most citizens are smart enough to be in their air raid shelters (those who are not in heavily armored bunkers on the walls of Avu-Akar Oivi), a high number of casualties from the carpet bombing were sustained:

OOC: I'm sorry, but you had no idea that there was an air raid until it was in progress and your defences were up. There would be far more civilian casualties unless they can magically teleport. Honestly 1000 is a bit more realistic. You can be considered godmoding.

"Holy sh*EEEEE*" Toak said over the intercom. "Not more aircraft". The comms officer replied: "City-defenders, I want blue turret group to switch to flak guns. The rest of you: keep up that good work with the rockets." Toak switched to flak the turret's flak guns, and prepared for the attack. At the PCS (Prime City-State) airfield, a squadron of jets was scrambled. They were going to try out the genetically modified crabs (which had just arrived under cover of darkness) on these Italian bombers. "Ready to go ladies and gentlemen?" Kiir Hioa said to the AONM members who had trained for air combat. All were ready. The planes took off, flying close to the ground, then gaining altitude to come up behind and on top of the Italian planes. The Avu-Akar Oivian Aircraft "crept" up behind the Italian craft, taking care to stay in the pilots' blind spots. When they came in range, Kiir Hioa commanded: "Let 'em rip!" and the genetically modified screeched through the air in addition to the rockets from the city.

Littorio suffered 0 casualties from this raid. Fiamme Nera suffered 10 casualties from this raid. Penne Nera suffered 40 casualties from this raid. 10% of the bombers were taken down and 20% were either destroyed or damaged. These raids are considered to be extremely successful and worth it by the Il Duce. Raids like this on random civilian targets around Avu-Akar Oivi will continue until Avu-Akar Oivi surrenders its position.

OOC: One of your crabs on the side of a plane would be like shotting an explosive bullet at it. It's not gonna do much unless you get it in 1 of 2 places, out of over 100 places to shoot it.

100 GIF101s streaked towards the walls of the city as 100 GIF77s followed in suit.

The GIF77s came over the wall releasing ordinance, and cut a sizably big hole in the wall. They then rained hell on AA defences, airstrips, hangars, and barracks. All the while GIF101s flew around protecting them from whatever planes the enemy would hastily assemble.

Covered by airship and naval artillery fire; the Three chapters of Space Marines rushed the beach. Bolter fire and flamer blasts met with the enemy as the mighty war machine pushed forward, determined to claim a beach-head for their Emperor. Lascannon blasts and artillery shells rocked the beach; sending huge clouds of dust and debris out over the skirmishing Marines and defence forces.
Among them fought the Primarchs; their bodies haloed with light, flickering nimbuses of power engulfing them, as they purged with bolter and power-sword...
They would know no fear...

As the planes came in, the cities defenses fired back at the aircraft in a barrage of rockets and flak from 60 of the capitals defense turrets. The sky lit up with the explosions of Avu-Akar Oivian buildings mixed with the explosions of the Borman Imperial Aircraft.

Death toll: 100 (OOC: By this time just about all the civilians are in their air raid shelters, these are AONM deaths)

In the forests behind the beach, 500,000 AONM troops were taking aim through the 'scopes on their service rifle. These troops had trained in marksmanship all their lives, as had most of the other AONM members. They were wearing camoflage uniforms, with some pretty realistic plastic plants attached to them. "Come on" one of the soldiers said quietly "When is AONM headquarters going to let us blast this scum? Just then, a message came over his radio and the radios of the other soldiers. "GO!GO!GO!". Some soldiers loaded their guns with metal eating explosive crabs (OOC: They don't eat the gun barrel because they can't move inside it), and others loaded in normal bullets. They then began to pick of the approaching troops with amazing effiency; reflexively taking a target, aiming, and pulling the trigger.
50 trucks with anti-air missiles and flak guns provided cover for the 500,000 AONM members. Explosive crabs whizzed through the air, striking the enemy forces (OOC: Whichever are the robotic ones), as did bullets, whizzing through the air towards the Space Marines.

The Marines pushed forward; some falling to the vile heresies of the mutant crabs; others purging them with flame. They hit the dirt; the relentless tide of marines moving on their bellies, still firing with bolters and plasma rifles, as heavier troops advanced. Terminators let fly with assault cannons; Dreadnoughts launched rockets and lascannon blasts. A predator let fire a burst of heavy fire, a Whirlwind let loose a burst of artillery fire; before exploding in a rain of crabs.
"FORWARD!" Called the Primarchs, sending more troops to death and glory; their weapons readied; their armour shimmering with the zeal of their faith.
"We are the chosen of the Emperor! We are his warriors and his hand. Let us reap our fill of these heretics, mutants and Xenos!"
Exploisions rocked the forest with fire and brimstone from the heavens, bullets whizzed and tore at the air; as the marines advanced on their enemy

Despite being well hidden in the forest, the AONM troops suffered fairly high causualities: 200 men and women so far. Noticing that it was the soldiers with shimmering armor that were giving the commands, one of the soldiers said: "Try to concentrate your fire at those shimmering soldiers. I think they may be the commanders of this army." (OOC: Sorry, but things with shiny halos are just asking for sniper fire :-)) ) Crabs whizzed throught the air towards the primarchs as several AONM anti-air trucks exploded from the Chronosian artillery fire.

OOC:Heh, you sound just like those Space Marine guys from that Dawn of War game.

The fleet had finnaly reached the coast of Avu-Akar Oivi. The marines began donning their ACS suits, and piling into the EFVs. Imperator MBTs began to roll onto the LCACs, along with the LAVs. F35s were launched off of the assualt carriers, in addition to attack helicopters, and began strafing the forests in front of the beach with FFARs and napalm.

Finnaly, the EFVs drove down the ramps of the carriers, and waded toward shore, while the LCACs brought their package of 2 M10 Imperators or 2 LAV-25s, and unloaded them at the beach. A total of 60,000 marines hit the beach, in addition to 1,200 MBTs and 4,000 IFVs and personel carriers. The heavy armor would be arriving in three days.

OOC:You can go ahead and RP any defences you might have in the area.

(OOC: Their also really powerful, lol; you could probably kill Force-Commanders, but the Primarchs take a hell of a lot to kill :P

The soldiers rallied; opening fire at the flailing creatures.
A Primarch grasped one in its powerfist; squeezing and watchign it explode within his powerful grasp.
"My faith shall be my armor! My will shall be my weapon! Onward; for the Emperor.!" Marines fell and flailed about the Priamrchs as they advanced; with dreadnought and predator fire covering them; with volleys of bolter fire and flamer blasts; with the determination of the Powerfist and the Chainsword; they would purge the heretics.

By now almost 250 of the Marines had been killed....

The Wirrawayan Rapid Response Force had the coast in sight. The 4 Carriers launched over 300 aircraft. They rocketed into the coast line in flights of 50. The Tomcats provided topcover as the over 200 stealth JSF's blasted the ground around the beachhead area into flaming ruin with repeated napalm, cluster bomb, and conventional bombing runs.

The Iowa class battleships, each mounting 6 massive heavy naval cannons moved up under heavy destroyer and sub escort and added their gigantic shells to the growing carnage on the beach head.

The Assault carriers began to dis-gorge hundreds of landing craft and amphibious tanks. The water was filled with tiny craft bobbing up and down in the ocean swells as they raced towards the devastated beach.

Helicopters launched from the Assault Carriers and began pour guided missiles into the remaining shore defenses.

Over 50,000 Marines hit the beach along with 250 Ampibious Scorpion Tanks, they expanded the beachhead quickly, moving into the wood line with major naval and air fire support.

The Wirrawayan Marines were the best in the buisiness at what they did and in few more hours the entire contigent of 125,000 was safely ashore and preparing to receieve the 1.5 million already on their way.

OOC: Thats where I draw the line. THat is A Hataria/Sephiroth God-Mode. Crabs that shoot out of guns and explode, okay-there known as exploding bullets. But dropping millins of crabs on a beach so it will blow up incoming ships and the like, change that. It is one of, if not THE, worst God-Modes I have heard.

Aboard the Wirrawayan Radar Aircraft a controller sat hunched over his radar screen.

"Hey sir, I think I've got something." He pointed to a mass of blips

"Looks like bombers, without any escort this is too good to be true."

His supervisor smiled

"Get it out on the horn, we've got some turkey shooting to do."

The call went out to two Tomcat Sqaudrons, and they quickly went to afterburner, but relied on the Radar Plane's radar imaging to target their missiles.

At 20 miles out each Tomcat launched 2 Phoenix Missiles. These gigantic weapons were the most sophisticated ever assembled and quickly homed in on the lumbering bombers. Unable to maneuver to break to lock they were sitting ducks for over 100 missiles. The carnage was great. Any stragglers were destroyed before could even reach the beachead to threaten the invasion fleet.

My troops are genetically modified from a single source, for strength and diversity, because I am a WH40K based nation. And at least my troops don't genetically explode! How does that work anyway; how the hell can you make exploding bio-crabs?

You can shoot exploding craps out of guns, or just use exploding bullets. But when you rain millions of them on a beach, thats a God-Mode. You could send planes to bomb, it wouldn't to as much but it would be feasible.

Missiles slammed into the fuselage of half of the bombers. As the fuselage ripped open, crabs poured out of the aircraft and down onto the land below. Some crabs just slammed into the ground and died where they landed, but a few landed in a river, and floated out to the sea. The remaining bombers (OOC: These are light bombers, so the are not lumbering, they are more like fighter planes with some cargo space, something along the lines of a Boeing FB-111A) took evasive maneuvers and continued towards the beach to drop their deadly cargo.

On the beach, the AONM soldiers were having a hell of a time holding their position. The AA trucks were being used for ground defense, firing missles into the ranks of oncoming soldiers.

The crab will eat anything that it touches (Unless they are stored in salt water, but they will still eat metal if it contacts them, so they are kept in plastic containers). When metal (or flesh, depending on which type of crab this is) comes in contact with its stomach juices...*BOOM*. The reason they can be fired from guns is that they are shaped like bullets (ever seen a sandcrab?)

Soldiers flew left and right as the missles hit; but still they poured on. COuntless were dead; dieing, the blood of man stained the shores as they kept up the assult of bullet, missle, flame and fist. Dreadnoughts now moved through the debris; grabbing at enemy soldiers, crushing their bodies as assault cannons rained death down upon them. Many whirred and droned; firing until missle or crab destroyed them. The Soldiers had now advanced; all were fighting in the woods; with hardly any pinned down on the beach, and as the bodies continued to pile up; the Primarchs led the charge; as the heaviest units pushed forward...

OOC: Chemical reaction; what kind? How does stomach acid plus something as specific as flesh and/or metal create an explosive unstable compound that causes violent exothermic reactions, manifest as an explosion of heat and light and sound energy?

The Wirrawayan Soldiers looked up at the massive explosions rocking the skies, but was even more disturbing were the crabs that were dropping out of the aircraft and the bombers overhead.

As a standard procedure chaff canisters (metallic strips used to confuse radar) were shot off by the hundreds to throw off any radar bomb aiming.

The metallic strips were pulled about by the wind and into a huge mass of radar confusing metal that blanketed the entire beachhead. The Wirrawayan forces continued to miove further inland, missile crews and tanks took out the pesky AA units as 150,000 marines, of 1,500 were dead now, moved farther inland

The Guided Missile Cruisers and Destroyers all picked up the approaching bombers as their AEGIS systems went into full-auto mode. The whole area was smothered by thick clouds of smoke as over 500 SAMS rocketed up at the bombers, high above the chaff clouds.

OOC: I'm sorry, there is no way that any more than one or two of your bombers could have survived that barrage.

In the forest north of the beach head, the Malkyeri mercenaries of the 52nd Regiment were advancing in loose formation. After arriving about four hours ago with the Wirrawayans who'd hired them, they'd only fought one skirmish.

Moving along a road in plain sight (they were well behind the front lines), four platoons, about 60 men, had been ambushed by enemy forces coming from the trees. Confusion reigned for about ten seconds, but then the focus of battle locked itself into the Malkyeri, who immediately began fighting back. Using their vehicles for cover, the mercenaries began exacting a murderous toll on the attackers, with nearly ever shot fired bringing down an enemy. The mercs weren't quite sure who the attackers were, because there weren't supposed to be anyone in this area except Wirrawayans and Malkyeri. The enemy obviously wasn't prepared for an enemy so determined to win, and began to fall back into the woods. Captain Jacob Haridan sent two of the platoons chasing the now-fleeing ambushers, and kept the other two platoons back to guard the vehicles. For a complete surprise attack, the mercenaries had fared well, losing only 4 men, and 7 wounded, only one seriously. Once the rest of the regiment's combat troops arrived, the force would move off into the forest to hook up with the pursuing men.

As the 3rd and 5th platoons pursued the enemy through the forest, Lieutenant James Haridan had is men slow to a walk. No need to alert any would-be ambushes to their presence. As they entered a field, they saw the remains of the unit that had ambushed them, maybe 50 men all together. Haridan wasn't sure who they were, but he figured they were the main enemy that Wirraway was fighting, the ones with exploding crabs, the ones whose name he couldn't pronounce. Fools, he thought, a field is not the place to hide fifty soldiers. At least they're not in the middle of it. Slowly and quietly, crouching and crawling, his men took up positions around these enemies. His men stayed within the forest edge, were the men in the field couldn't see them. He saw his sniper taking aim, probably at the most likely enemy commander. A flurry of hand signals, and the men in the field were doomed. Sniper's bullets shot through the skulls of the four men standing, and then the forest erupted in rifle fire. Men were dying left and right, many before the even picked up their guns. As soon as they realized what was going on, they tried to fight back, but Haridan heard the rapid thunk-thunk-thunk of automatic weapons, and turned to see men in Wirrawayan uniforms running into the clearing. As the men in the field turned to face this new threat, Haridan drew his knife, letting it glint in the sun. The Malkyeri stopped shooting, and rushed to the enemies' rear, knives flashing. The few men still standing did not last long under the Malkyeri blades.

OOC:OK, explain to me how you prevent the crap from biting the bombers and blowing them up? How do you prevent them from biting the rifles and killing your own men? How do you prevent them from biting their cages and blowing them up before they could be used? I'm ignoring those stupid crabs, let's all stick with regular weapons, shall we?

And you can't have the crabs because they aren't practical, theres no way you could actually get it to work. They could easily explode in gun barrels...To say they couldn't is ridiculous.

A perimeter had been established about 4 miles inland from the beach. Tents, buildings, field hospitals, ammo dumps,and airfields were quickly being built by the combat engineers. The most important project, however, was building up an adequete port to accomodate the massive amount of soldiers and equipment en-route from Wirraway. SAM systems were online and 5 Battalions were manning the perimeter as the rest of the army continued to re-group and form up into units.

The Mercenaries were ranging ahead of the main force with some light recon elements of the task force, scouting out the route ahead and noting enemy force strengths.

The massive Armada continued to close on the shores of Avu-Akar Oivi bearing its huge cargo of 1.5 million troops and over 2000 tanks. Once they hit land it would all be over very quickly

The Chronosian forces had joined the Wirraway forces and waited; it seemed like the calm before the storm. The long night of waiting, as the troops recovered and rearmed....The storm was coming; and the Emperors will would prevail...

Captain Haridan moved his company through the forest. Once they'd reached a rocky outcrop near a stream, they decided to stop and send out scout-snipers to patrol. The regiment had tasted blood, and was eager now. They were in their element.

David Johns didn't know whether he loved being a sniper or hated it. It was exciting, but messy. He didn't like crawling around on his belly through the mud anymore than - he stopped. through the bushes, he saw some enemy troops moving. He could kill a couple, then run, or he could stay and observe. He opted for the latter. As he looked throuh the scope of his gun, an unconcious smile broke out onto his face as he laughed inwardly at the men thrashing their way through the foliage.

Aoza-Avu sat in a bunker somewhere in Avu-Akar Oivi, discussing war plans with the Aoza-Avu and the leaders of the AONM. "We need to put our troops more on the offensive" one of the AONM leaders said "we have roughly 30 million troops sitting around doing nothing. I suggest we redistribute half of these troops to defend the country, not just the city-states". "I make a motion to take this course of action" said Aoza-Avu "What's the vote?". The decision was unanimous. "Another important question I feel I need to raise" said another leader of the AONM "is the use of the genetically modified crabs in our service rifles. There have been reports of near accidents were crabs have nearly exploded in the barrel of our soldiers guns. I feel that we should stop the use of these crabs by our brave militia. Of course, the crabs can still be used to defend the coastline of Avu-Akar Oivi". After much debate, every one agreed that this was the right action to take.

Near the beach, the AONM forces were having a very hard time of things. Nearly all of their AA trucks had been destroyed, and they had lost 600 men so far. The only reason they continued to fight was that they were going to receive reinforcements in a few hours.

A patrol group of AONAM (Avu-Akar Oivi National Air Militia) planes flew through the air around one of the Avu-Akar Oivian city-states, with Kiir Hioa in command. "Hey, Kiir, look at that convoy!" said one of the pilots. "Hmmm..." Kiir said "Looks like enemies". He radioed base "This is Kiir Hioa to defense headquarters of the 4th city-state, you appear to have a enemy convoy closing in on your city, they're coming at you from direction 76 76, over". "Acknowledged" was the reply. 200 soldiers hopped into transports and were taken into the forest that grew on either side of the road that the enemies were coming down. The bullets of the AONM soldiers, backed by the heavy artillery of the transports, drank Borman blood.

Out at sea, the mutant crabs floated apparently harmless, in the blue depths. They had drastically increased their numbers, partially because of their high rate of reproduction, and partially because billions of unneeded crabs had been dumped into the streams and rivers of Avu-Akar Oivi. The government would have a hard time clearing these dangerous creatures after the war

Artilery was also unloaded, and set up on the beach to provide fire support. In addition to this, 200 Tommahawk missiles were launched at air defence positions in the capital. After that, Fifty F35 JSFs were launched, armed with twenty SDBs(small diameter bombs, small enough to carry a ton, but pack a punch, currently being developed by the US Air Force). They arrived on target, and the internal bomb bays were opened. From a range of forty naughtical miles, each aircraft unloaded the bombs, targetting command and control stations, and troop concentrations. When attacking exposed infantry, the bombs were set to burst twenty feet in the air, when attacking command stations, they were set to penetrate then detonate.

The bombs all glided toward their targets, and the fighters broke for home.

OOC:I doubt your air defence could hit a stealth aircraft from forty miles away.

The Italians mustered up 200 bombers from the "Black Feather" division and sent them escorted by 400 MiG-29 and MiG-33's to bomb Avu-Akar Oivi's second main city. They were prepared to target civilian targets with carpet bombs. The fighters were also equipped with napalm bombs.

OOC:How would they touch the metal, I don't think crabs can swim. How exactly would you modify them to blow up? Even if you could, it wouldn't be a very big explosion.

Aboard the Destroyer Albus Ensign Thomas walked along the deck on his way to his post in the command center. He walked close to the railing, admiring the crystal clear water, then some thing caught his eye, a muffled underwater explosion.

What the hell is that?

He leaned farther our over the deck and saw what looked to be a mass of crabs in the water directly ahead and around the Destroyer. Whenever the Albus touched them they exploded outwards in a mass of blood and guts. Hundreds of dead crabs drifted behind the boat.

My word, what an environmental crisis, look what were doing to this native species

He made a mental note to inform his superiors of these odd crabs and hurried to make his shift in the attack center.

OOC: The crabs would burrow into your boat before exploding, so I think more damage is in order, Wirraway.

Avu-Akar Oivi's vast radar network picked up a large concentration of aircraft heading towards the second city-state. 80% of Avu-Akar Oivi's air divisions were scrambled, and they all set course to converge on the second city-state
The air wing was comprised of:

200 A-10 Warthogs, piloted by refugees from Wirraway
600 AOE-7 Air-to-Air fighter planes, equipped with 6 A-to-A missiles each

As the aircraft screamed across the skies, a pilot noticed something. "What the heck are those bombers? They aren't showing up on my radar." "You're imagining things again." "No, really, I think those are stealth bombers returning from a bombing run." "Suit yourself." "Do I have permission to break off with two squadrons and give chase?." "Yes but you'd better be right..." 24 AOE-7s broke off from the main formation and gave chase to the unidentified aircraft. As they approached the planes, they discovered that they were indeed stealth bombers. The AOE-7s converged on the stealth aircraft, sending particles of radar-absorbing material raining down to earth. The fighters then prepared to meet up with the others at the city.

At the city, air raid sirens blared, and AONM members rushed to extinguish the fires caused by the bombing. The damage would have been much greater if the cities air defenses had not shot down a great deal of Tomahawk missiles headed for the city.

OOC: How do bombs hit a city 40 miles away? Are they rocket propelled?

All AONM members and civilians were in their shelters before the Italian forces began their bombing of the city. The damage was heavy from the Stealth Bombers, and many brave AONM members were required to stay outside their shelters to put out the fires.

As the Italian aircraft came over the horizon, the rumble of jet engines was heard as the AONAM aircraft converged on them. The explosions of missiles lit up the sky as Italian aircraft fell.

first of all, your radar in the capital earlier picked up my bombers as they came near the city. There is no way with radar like that the civilians could have gotten in their bunkers to survive unless they could teleport. 200 bombers carpet bombing would not do serious damage, it would literally devastate and destroy like 25% of the city at the very least. If the city was populated to a large extent, there would be at least a 100,000 dead. Honestly now, you can sent just as many to intercept them and put up AA on every street corner, but if you didn't take out half of them, you would experiance MASSIVE casualties. Be realistic here and put up some casualties, my bombing runs will continue at random spots and bases until you surrender.

OOC: Avu-Akar Oivi has a radar network. It was activated on the first page of the war (I think). Please post losses from your air fleet

first of all 2 cities have been carpet bombed by 900 bombers, that is like 1 million casualties. Honestly, I dropped more bombs than the US did in WWII in 3 raids. I have already said my casualties on the first 2 raids were 10% of the whole force with a further 20% damaged.

OOC: I don't think that includes losses that my air-force just incurred

yes, it does. We lost very little in the first raid and rebuilt before the second. The second and third raids lost a lot, overall we have 70% of our bombers still that can be used. Due to heavy damages coming at one time it will take longer to rebuild, honestly. 30% in 3 raids is very generous of me and you are godmoding like mad because at least 100,000-1,000,000 civilians would have died for you and maybe like 5 air defense guns.

OOC:The bombs deploy winglets after being dropped, and glide to their targets, it's an RL weapon. How are you gonna actualy see my bombers? Don't you think they would actualy avoid coming within sight of your fighters? And I highly doubt you could afford 600 aircraft, unless they're all really crappy. Oh, one more thing, the F35 is actualy very suited for air-to-air,

The fifty F35s broke formation, and headed toward the inbound enemy aircraft. Each fighter loosed two sidewinders at the inbound fighters, then dogded any missiles, then closed to engage with cannons. Several of the JSFs had taken hits from enemy cannons, but thanks to their manueverability and sheer numbers, managed to escape into friendly territory and eject.

OOC:I fully expect the majority of your fighters to be annihilated, it was stupid to send such a small amount of aircraft at them.

The armor continued to drive toward enemy territory, defended by 200 F14s, and 100 F35s, along with thirty AH1Zs. The tanks finnaly came within sight of the capital, and commenced firing.

From a range of 1.5 miles, 1,200 M10 Imperator MBTs opened up on any visible troops movements, firing HEAT at anything below an MBT, such as a building or APC, SABOT at MBTs, and HEAP at infantry concentrations. In addition to this, the 4000 M11 Legionnaire IFVs and EFVs pulled up next to the tanks, and prepared to rush forward. F14s flew overhead, destroying any inbound aircraft before they even got in sight with Pheonix missiles, while F35s flew over the city, dumping napalm and cluster bombs. In addition to this, over 2,000 M2001 Crusaders, M270 MLRSs, and M109A6 Paladins opened fire, their goal being to turn the city into a parking lot. Attack helicopters also flew overhead, strafing ground targets with FFARs and cannons.

Finnaly, after the city had been thouroughly suppresed, C17s flew over the city, dumping leaflets, urging the surrender of any forces still intact, and notifying that civilians should be immediatly evacuated.

Also, a group of forty F35s were launched, armed with two HARM missiles each, and hunted down enemy radar sights, launching their missiles, and getting away before the enemy even knew what had hit them.

OOC:I'd expect a bunch of your people to surrender from that, and your radar will be extremely vulnerable, as it is very easy to detect when turned on. My people on the other hand are guided by AWACS craft, who are too far away for you to even do anything about. They don't turn on their radar until they're positive the enemy knows they're there, and having radar on wouldn't make a difference. Oh, yeah, can I get some stats for your fighter? That way we can post losses more accurately. Your civilians should be safe if they were in shelters, though.

OOC: Dude, Iv got millions of men. I have planes and AA defenses and my tanks are killer. My men are alos in them.

IC: Bullets ripped out of the forest as several rockets slammed into and damaged tanks. The 1st armquickly went rigth whie the 2nd went left. The enemies were annihlated in a matter of minutes. They converged back when aircraft came into the sight.

"Open up. SAM, D270, get it all out. Tnaks AA defences."

As the planes came towards the convoy hundreds of missiles shot up, destroying most if not all planes. These few stragglers were quickly diced up by the GIF-101s and F-22As.

OOC: Its crapy becuase there is no reall attack to repel. It is like a middle school sending every able bodied person to attack the united states army. After having armed them with paintball guns.

OOC: You have 1 of two options. Your economy has exploded now, or you have 10 million men grand total.

The port facilities were complete and the massive Armada began to arrive. The first sign of it coming was a darkening of the horizon and then a low rumble. A huge black mass of aircraft appeared in the sky, formation after formation, stacked over 80,000 feet high. Every carrier in the fleet had launched and over 450 aircraft blotted out the sun as they screamed past the invasion fleet.

6 AWACS flew slowly behind them, coordinating the massive aerial assault.
Since the enemy forces were busy dealing with other air assaults this was the perfect time to launch an attack.

Wild Weasal groups led the way, targeting any radar foolish enough to begin radiating with HAARM missiles. The JSF's blasted in over the Doomingsland forces and dropped tons of Smart bombs, Napalm, and Cluster bombs on numerous millitary and civilian targets. Navalized F-22's provided air to air support engaging any opposing fighters.

The hulking shapes of hundreds of Warships loomed in the distance at the beachhead as tiny landing craft and Ro/Ro transport ships scurried into shore to unload. The force began to fan out, now completely blockading the coastline, nothing was going in our out of Avu-Akar Oivi without Wirraway's permission (allies excluded).


On the Beachhead the 150,000 marines made theri breakout. M1A2 Abrams and Bradleys led the way as they annihilated any forces in their path. At the rate they were going they would reach the capital in about a day or so. Behind them the 1.5 million man invasion force began the redious process of landing, it would take them about 4 days to completely unload and be ready to move. Most likely units would be parceled out as they arrived.

This was the final push, the subversives would be captured and brought back, the safety of the Concordiat depended on it.

The massive convoy continued ofer the fields and trhought the woods. Planes whizzed over head as they constantly went back home as more cmae to defend. THe convoy had come up on towns and villages, all captured. Not a single place had yet to stand against their onslaught. The convoy crept ever closer to the capital, they would arrive at it a couple hours before Wirrawayan forces.

The beach was in awe at the sight of what Wirraway had sent. Bormans force was nothing compared to it, butstill something. Several aircraft carriers and neccessary protection ships were nearing the shores. They would set up a littel area on the beach and planes would be able to take off from here to protect the convoy and launch bombing runs.

The sun glinted off the brand new B0W0C. It was an amazing sight, the best bomber in the opinions of Boran military. Just completed and 100 had been sent to test them. These made their way to the capital.

They arrived and smiled as they looked down at the destroyed AA defences, well actually the whole place was pretty much destroyed. Several broke off and dropped ordinance on the last AA defences, there was so much that they had to be destroyed. But the rest formed into a strange form of a line. Then they too broke off into smaller groups. Some went above troop concentrations, some barracks, a good proportion to the capitol building and the rest to anything that could be a target. THen the doors opened. Each plane dropped a MOAB10 (Mother Of All Bombsx10).

The formation flew out, some planes having yet to come into formation. They smiled as they left the carnage of the capital. They then accelerated and went back to Borman.

The Malkyeri crept through the sparse woods, toward the town. They were moving slowly, so as not to be seen. The town did not seem to be heavily defended, but there was no reason to take chances. Wirrawayan forces weren't heavy on the ground here, and even though the Malkyeri were good soldiers, that wouldn't really matter if they were caught and outnumbered two or three dozen to one. The rest of the regiment was to the rear, about half a mile off, waiting. Captain James Haridan halted his two companies about 500 meters from the town, just inside the tree line. He was to wait here while the regiment's HUMINT guys did their thing. They may have to wait, but the town, more of a village actually, was theirs already.

Damien Owens walked through the town's market square. He'd arrived two nights ago, while the 52nd was still about fourteen miles away. His nondescript clothing helped him blend in to the throng, and he went about his business relatively unnoticed. Relatively, because strangers were looked on wiht suspicion during war. Fortunately, most townsfolk accepted his story, that he was just waiting for the war to pass by his home, and decided to wait in a town where he could hear some news. He hoped no soldiers would question him. Soldiers wary of spies were not alway...fair...in their questioning. A few people noticed when he went into the inn where he was staying. The innkeeper and two other guests noticed him go into his room. No one noticed him lock the door. He hoped no one heard him take out his radio and contact Captain Haridan.

"Not many troops. I'd guess about three companies, maybe four, but at least one is a reserve unit. They look like they've ridden the horse," that being a Malkyeri euphemism for going to battle, "And I'd take them seriously. Patrols are every hour, around the town. There are usually a couple of squads patrolling every three or four blocks. I think we're ready - " He cut off the radio as someone knocked on the door. Shit, he thought. Maybe he could find Dego later and have him finish relaying the message. He hastily hid the radio and went to answer the door.

Dego Rend stood with nearly the whole town as they gathered in the market square. He wondered why the soldiers had called them here. He moved his way to the front of the crowd, and paused when he saw what was in the middle of circle maybe ten meters across. The commanding officer, a captain, stood with a pistol in his hand. Kneeling about a meter away, facing away from the captain, was a man wearing a blindfold. Soldiers kept the crowd back.

"You see this man here? He is the enemy. A spy. He is not working alone. Let this be a message to those who consider him an ally." With that, he walked up to the man and pointed his pistol at the back of his head.

The shot rang clear.

As the man fell forward, his face gone, a necklace with a small cross fell from his shirt. My God, Rend thought, Damien.

OOC: Sorry its over and I guess this thread is too, I don't feel like going all the way back and restarting it, it was an interesting diversion though.

All Wirrawayan Units magically re-apperead at their bases, causing mass chaos as carriers crushed curise liners and cargo ships with thier sudden reapperance.

OOC: Well 5% is what your army should be at max, I dont now anyone who would believe 10%. Since you formed a militia I could believe 10%-15% with a little convincing. But 1/3 of your peoples in the militia would collapse your economy in about 2-3 weeks.

Since he stopped RPing, its like we never went to war. So my men never left. I never suffered any losses. Avu-Akar Oivi is not decimated, his capitol is not glass. And AAO has yet to state he would keep any refugees.

Do my mercenaries still get paid? The money was transfered to my accounts prior to the war, but...
