Shalrirorchian President Tarumigan Gistarai announced today that the U.S.S. is interested in "fostering a spirit of cooperation" with the NATO Alliance. This is a major policy shift by the Gistarai Administration, which had run on a re-election platform that it would not allow its' hands to be tied by membership to a foreign alliance. The U.S.S. is interested in opening up membership articles and talks with the alliance.
