The Ha’tak burst into realspace about the planet Sedat among a slew of curtains of blue light which faded in mere moments, “Restoring shields…” said the jaffa at the helm, “And receiving fire!”

Arcing golden plasma fired from across the horizon as the system’s defenders retaliated, their own ship doing its best to fight back, but too late to exploit the weakness that came from hyperspace travel. At these speeds, it didn’t take long to accelerate into an optimal firing position, but that was not the attacker’s plan. “Open the cargo bays,” commanded a figure, sitting enthroned upon the bridge of the aggressor ship, “and decelerate.”

The doors of the cargo bay ground open to reveal their payload of pulverised nickel iron, and naquadah the bays containing Lord Shu’s gift to this usurper upstart, with another flash, a blue white plane of energy that had been holding the debris in was shut down, and laws of physics took over. Flushing from their prison, the atmosphere carried with it the many tons of lethal dust, and the aggressor ship began to accelerate away from the planet, its course taking it out of line of sight from the defender’s ship, but not out of sight of the settlement below.

Shu smiled, standing and leaning forward, arms still gripping the armrests of his throne to watch the carnage, “Beautiful,” he murmured, as the titanic flash of the naquadah enhanced rubble obliterated the minor settlement.

OOC: It's the third world of space tech. They're plagarised from Stargate SG1, and as such, their ground troops are... very poor.

Behold, very very poor ground forces. (//www.stargate-tech.net/esy/compare.htm)

OOC: Any chance I could enter into this? I don't mean actually having any real influence on the storyline, or anything, just having a team stuck off-world or something...Oh yeah, British StarGate Command, in case you hadn't guessed...
