It is a warm, crisp night in the capital, 206,000 people are awaiting for the announcement of the next glorious leader of the People of West Pacific. Suddenly the stadium grows dark. When the lights come on the Council of 8 is standing on the stage set up, ready to make the announcement. Senator Leipzig steps up to the microphone.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, tonight you are here because after much deliberation this council has finally selected the next President of West Pacific.

The Senator is forced to stop because the noise from the crowd is so loud. Finally after several minutes the senator is able to continue.

The person we have selected is a veteran of over 30 years of military service.

He played a crucial part in crushing the socialist uprising of 18 years ago.

Once again the Senator is forced to pause, everybody here was specifically selected, their would be no nay sayers here tonight, let the whole capital shake from the noise of the crowd, this was a night for rejoicing.

He led the West Pacific Armored Corps. and crushed the socialist defenses, doing what his two predecessors had failed to do, bringing victory over the rebels. Let me introduce you to General Johannes Griesler, your new President!

The crowd roars once again, but not as loud as before, so as not to raise suspicions an equal amount of Navy, Air Force, and Army people were invited, some of the Air Force and many of the Navy personel will not like taking orders from the Army. Griesler, now the President of West Pacific, steps up to the podium, Senator Vladimir, the leader of the socialist party, can be seen fuming behind him, clearly he was against this decisions.

Good evening my fellow West Pacificans, today I have accepted the office of the Presidency. My first order will be to carry out the wishes of our late President, Erik Drucker, and stamp out domestic terrorism, as I speak over 37 suspected terrorists organizations are being raided by our Special Forces, troops and armor are even crossing the borders and raiding terrorist camps just over the border. We will end these attacks against our nation, once and for all! Now, let the whole country know, that tonight, right here, on this day we told the terrorists that we will not be afraid! We will not submit to their demands! Tonight, let the whole country know that West Pacific will not go quietly into the night, let the whole country know that West Pacific will be free, forever!

The crowd is louder than ever, firewoks start going off, 155mm Howitzers start firing blanks all over the city, the Geo-I-L-sat 4 over the city records video images, the scene is amazing, the lights from the city lights, fireworks, and the firing of the large guns. People over 30 miles away claim to have heard teh celebrations. The event was telecast to 25 other stadiums with anywhere from 50,000 to 170,000 people watching and was scene by over 1.2 billion people via live satellite feed. All in all it was a success.
