OVERVIEW: With the impracticality of the 30"ers becoming apparent Naval engineers designed a new heavy battleship that is more usable and able to be built in larger numbers. That is where the Netanyahu class comes in. With 15 24" guns it packs a wallop and is the ultimate ship in bombarding shores or other navies. It has heavy armor and would be called a dreadnought in many world navies.

A very fine vessel indeed. Although we will not be purchasing one, due to our advanced technology. We will let some of our less advanced allies know of it. They may be interested. But, as I said, it is a fine ship. Very formidable.

On a side note, the new yard expansion at Haifa will allow 10 more to be built there and the yard conversion at Sinai Southwest allows 15 more to be built there.
