For a month now, our nation has struggled under insufficient energy production: we are rapidly expanding in our energy production facilities: Hydroelectric power, natural gas, coal, etc. However, rising energy prices are causing a chain reaction leading to rolling blackouts. There is one fuel, however, that is not rising in price: nuclear fuel.
We require these fuels, as we have no natural source of them.
Hydrogen fuels are a great alternative, one that we are striving for, but we need an immediate solution. Petroleum is rapidly becoming a commodity, especially when a gifted few countries dominate the entire market through OPEC. We lack large-scale deposits of coal or natural gas, and these are detrimental to the enviroment. Solar and wind power are a dead-end, as the wind is not always blowing, the sun not always shining, and the amount of power gained negligable. Hydroelectric power only goes so far, and must be planned tediously.
Until hydrogen power comes of age, nuclear power is the only way to solve macropower problems. (As opposed to micropower, such as automobiles.) France has proved this- a majority of its power is nuclear, and there have been no accidents.
We are experiencing rolling blackouts in Teotihuacan, Tzopilli, and the Interior Coast districts. Texoco is expected to be short on power as well if the situation does not rapidly improve.
So, countries with a large Uranium Mining sector, please set deals for $USD per kilogram. The lowest realistic deal wins (as in no Godmoding.)
