History:
The Empire of Drum Gods has had a colourful history. Initially, a small nation that sought to make its mark on civilisation it had a small ruling elite who governed with an iron fist. Their sole priority was foreign policy and so in a minor political scuffle with the nation of Noodletopia a nuclear barrage was employed killing approximately 1-2million people. This more than certainly made some people sit up and take notice but Drum Gods avoided a coalition that would have annihilate it through quick, decisive negotiations with Noodletopia which saw its survival financially and militarily.
Meanwhile in the background the ruling elite had started to go through a delayering process. One man Armand Jobersan used his media influence to slowly put the pressure on his colleagues. This forced a series of resignations. Though, it is not clear, at the same time negotiations had occured between Jobersan and the military which saw the storming of the mainly bureaucratic Government House. The arrests of several leading politicians paved the way to power for Jobersan. He declared the nation now an Empire and that he would be its Emperor. The nation was however in a period of economic boom and so he was embraced. The military never had to apply their plans to forcefully silence the masses.
Following this a war occurred involving the Silver Turtle and Spear Chuckas. The Silver Turtle was leading a small alliance of dictators and through a serious of political rifts launched a war bombarding the borders cities of what was now the Empire. The tide was soon to turn as the Spear Chuckas infantry whose role it was to break the lines were all slaughtered en masse. Tens of thousands were killed and the nation of Spear Chuckas crumbled into civil war. The Silver Turtle called off the attack. The Emperor meanwhile called for an invasion of Spear Chuckas under the guise of being a peacekeeping force.It was a total success with a puppet government put in place. It was the Emperor's first proxy state. The Empire was in the process enticed by The Silver Turtle growing alliance called GDODAD as it offered protection to the fledgling Empire.
The Empire blossomed for many years. The Emperor authorised 'The 20 Years to Glory' campaign where the Empire spread across North Africa, the middle east, Russia, Eastern Europe and even China. Countless smaller islands were also annexed in the process. The Empire then faced its dark age. Its time had come to fall.
GDODAD went into a period of decline and so seeking to continue their expansion Drum Gods formed their own alliance called CIPE whose members were also large and powerful. In fact the Drum God Empire formed a confederacy with a member nation called Milesia further increasing its influence. However, a single incident would ingnite the flame of demise. When a hijacked Imperial commercial aeroplane was shot down by Der Angst the Emperor was outraged. A campaign called Operation Trident was launched where CIPE members would each focus upon attacking Der Angst at a key point and so decapitate its regime and take it for themselves. The going got tough and CIPE crumbled leaving Drum Gods to take the brunt of the retaliation. This would become known as the 'Forsaken Age of the Empire'. The Drum Gods nation remained relatively intact but lost all of its colonies though GDODAD as in the Silver Turtle protected and kept the Middle Eastern Colonies for the Drum God Empire.
Now a nation has re-emerged. Economic prosperity reigns. The major cities such Ist City Bass have been rebuilt with extravagant gothic architecture made out of gold and silver steel. The Empire strived for every last resource it could muster to create beautiful cities to echo the glories of the past Empire and signify that its apogee had not been reached and that there was more for the people to strive for. Today, nation seeks to become an Empire once more.
Economic Philosophy:
The main goal of the people is to become successful through expansion. The nation thrives on businessmen that provide the backbone for the development of the army and its operations. Subsequently, they succeed by investing in the conquered lands.

2)General Van Dervand, Chief Military Commander
Purged the army when he was first given the top job to make sure all members were loyal to the Emperor. He was a soldier at the time of the Spear Chuckas war and received an Imperial Cross for his achievements. He steadily rose through the ranks and was given the top job after successfully leading the invasion of the middle east.
3)Foreign Minister Gransond
A successful ambassador and negotiations expert who spent most of his time in the Empire's former colonies in Africa. After negotiating the handing over of these colonies while managing to keep the mainland nation intact during the 'Forsaken Ages' saw him gain great favour with the Emperor. He is no longer simply a Foreign Minister but actually heads the Imperial Intelligence Service also.
These are the three most powerful men in the Empire. The General and Foreign Minister though find a great gulf in their influence between themselves and the Emperor. The Emperor has the right of veto over their decisions and the power to replace them should the need arise. The army has been made pure to the Emperor.
The Emperor has two sons Federico and Antonio as well as a daughter Jasminia thought information about them is currently restricted.
