OOC: Since Jack said that s/he would buy the rights, rather than requesting the permission to purchase them, I'm not going to go too easy IC. :p

IC:

William stood facing the long polished mahogany table as he had many times before. The faces of the Board members were stony as usual. "We received an unusual proposition today, ladies and gentlemen. Apparently some people from a country called Jackdonia want to purchase production rights to the Uberwagen."

"No," said a quiet but firm voice to his left. "Definitely not."

"Why not, Stan?" queried a voice from near the opposite end of the table on William's right. "As long as the price is right, I say we do it. We won't lose much if we do it properly, and we can use the funds to support the production of our new flagship, while still leaving a little for the stockholders' dividends."

William was feeling a bit impatient, so he interjected, "Alright, let's wait to discuss this one until we've given it some thought and we get more information from Jackdonia on exactly what kind of rights they want. I say we move to the next order of business, a possible expansion of our company into the SUV market."

The Jackdonian PM Alan Ryain looked at William and asked "We'd like the rights to the one with bulletproof glass,if it is at all possible to do it,and also we'd like it with leather seats if its possible, and could we give it a new name? If not we'll stick with Uberwagen"
He tapped his fingers on the table waiting for the buisnessman to respond thinking "I hope we get the rights to this car!
Suddenly he said "Is it possible at all to have a demo ride?"

In Regards To: Purchase of Production Rights

Here's what the Board and I have decided we're willing to offer. You can have the rights to produce the Uberwagen under the following conditions:

1.) You continue to use the HRMC brand label on the car, but you can change the name of it from Uberwagen to something else.
2.) Production of the Uberwagen must be limited to 300 units per year.
3.) You must pay HRMC 1,000,000t for the initial purchase of the rights and 25,000t annually for every one you sell. This is to compensate us for lost profits.

Let us know if these terms are acceptable. If you have any questions about the reasoning behind any of the stipulations, feel free to ask.
