The Imperial military Command had firmly established its presence on the captured beachhead. Armored units, and third, fourth, and fifth waves of praetorians were unloading from their landing craft. Overhead, GIF-101s maintained an impenetrable air cover along the beach, and slightly inland. MI-24s ferried troops back and forth from small towns that the paratroopers had secured as the first landing swept the shores.

General Arus Mihkail Tayanovich stepped from the MI-24 that had touched down on the sand. He began walking towards a command tent nearby. A young officer ran up to him, and saluted hastily.

"General Tayanovich, sir! It is a pleasure to meet you, sir."

"I'm sure."

Tayanovich wore black leather boots with steel plating on the soles, a black military uniform, a long jacket, and a pair of dar sunglasses. Despite the heat, he appeared quite comfortable. The emblem of the Imperial Praetorian Guard shown in patch form on either shoulder.

"Major, our situation?"

"Quite favorable, sir. Our beachhead is quite secure. We are ferrying the last of our equipment, men, and supplies to the shore as we speak. The Paratroopers made excellent progress in their operations this morning. Several small towns are under our control, and have been fortified. Most of the major bridges in the area are secure, and the rest are burning. Again, the work of our paratrooper teams."

The two had by now entered the command tent, where screens, large and small, displayed every manner of useful information. The General approached the front of the tent, and largest screen, displaying an enlarged map of the nation.

"Today begins Operation: Righteous Hammer. Our armies shall overrun what is left of this pathetic island, and smash their militias. Our enemy is ill trained, and ill equipped to oppose our war machine, and I fear they underestimate the ferocity of our Praetorians. Quite simply, major, we will bury them. By sheer force of will, and force of arms we shall scourge this land until not a single blade of grass is left untouched, as we have done so many times before. Let us begin."

"Of course sir."

The major saluted eagerly.

-------------------------------

The Imperial armored divisions began to move, steel beasts readying for the kill. GT-101s led the path, turrets swivelling like mad. The Praetorians marched over the hard earth unfeeling, just waiting for their chance to once again bury saber in the flesh of an enemy. They would hammer through the enemy towards the capital, and soon, the Imperial flag would take its rightful place over this land.

((OOC: Note on Imperial Praetorians: These men are elite soldiers, the best of the best. All of the ones participating in this campaign are veterans of at least two previous conflicts. They are heavily armed (XM-8 and saber) and armored. Each one is equipped for NBC warfare. There are also 300,000 Imperial regulars in the theater. These men are not as elite, but are also veterans, and equipped similarly if not exactly.))

The last of the men unloaded on the beach head. Only a while away the Borman command post was coming to life. Almost all of the armor, men, and supplies were off, but not all.

As Generic and Borman troops overran the last of the coastal defences, the last soldiers tasked to defending the shores retreated into the tunnels. Generic and Borman troops moved through towns and cities, meeting little to no opposition as most of the populace was dead from the ICBMs. Yet once they secured a city, and left behind a contingent to maintain control, secret entrances opened up, tanks, light armoured vehicles, and infantry poured out, engaging the superior enemy forces with numbers and surprise, and fading away. Some of the infantry set up traps in the rubble, hiding explosives in the ruins. The Generiens weren't stupid, and most of the traps were for nothing, but some managed to get past their observation and get past. When they rounded up civilians to become slaves, some had attached bomb belts, detonating themselves in groups of Borman and Generien troops.

The Lasorians couldn't win a field war, but with the immense tunnel networks, weapon caches, and many years of experience at guerilla warfare, they started a campaign to take out as many of the enemy as they could.

Slaves were rounded up one by one with few soldiers to save as many lives as possible. Any city that Borman felt worth the taking was combed through completly, even dynamite being used, to ferret out any men and tunnels. The soldiers then guarding were ever on the alert.

The command post came to shape as the last of the soldiers were unloaded. Men began to build airstrips and landing docks so people and suplies could be flown and shipped back and forth.

((OOC: That's saying what my forces did. You can't do that. As far as you know, and as far as what i've written, I haven't entered any cities, save some small towns which were completely secured. I suggest you wait for me to post before you assume. Sorry if I nitpick, but I am particular in the way things are done.))

((OOC: Yes, I intend to continue to ignore your IC posts. Realize that it's nothing personal, however, I feel that after said discussion, it would be impossible for either of us to hold impartial IC oppinions of any action committed by the other.))

Diplomatic Communique to the Sovereignty of Pie

We are most distrested that you have seen fit to launch an unprovoked
attack upon a Praetonian ship signalling for aid. We are further distressed that
your ships then fled from Imperial Navy assets, rather than agreeing to
surrender and be seized by the Imperial Government. We therefore demand
that you hand over the ships in question, along with a monetary sum totalling
$5bn in compensation for the acts committed against Praetonian naval
vessels. We most sincerely hope that no such incident will ever occur
again.

I will offer you 5 Bn, and a sizable amount of enriched uranium to
replace what was lost. I cannot afford to lose an entire fleet. HOWEVER, i
can turn over 2 heavy Battle ships to replace the Ion, i hope this is
sufficient.

Diplomatic Communique to the Sovereignty of Pie

We accept and welcome your willingness to accept some of our terms, however
we must demand that you hand over all ships that were involved in the attack.
We care little for your war, only for our ship that was damaged, our personel
who were killed and our reputation that has been smeared. If you refuse to hand
over, or express an intent to hand over, the damanded naval hardware within 24
NS hours then a state of war will exist between The Sovereignty of Pie and the
Democratic Imperium of Praetonia

OOC: 24 NS hours is flexi-time in RL, not 2 minutes or whatever you can work it out to be using 1 day = 1 year. If I do go to war it wont be "RAWR 1 kill j00 start again!", I'll just sink your ships and bomb some of your military installations etc.

I would be willing to hand over all ships involved in the encounter, except the
aircraft carrier, you can have a heavily damaged battle ship and 2 of my
cruisers if you want them. as the carrier never actually engaged your ship, i
don't see any reason to hand it over. is this acceptable?

OOC: Generic, I'm sorry, but if your going to ignore Tundra because its going launch a ton of ICBMs at you and conquer you, then I'm not going to continue this, and the annihalation of Lasoria will simply be forgotten. I'm fine with have Lasoria annihalated, but when another nation is going to do the same to you, and you ignore them for it, I just can't put up with that because it is bullshit.

involved in the attack as well as all other demands fulfilled. We will accept
nothing less.
