Todat at 01:00 hrs at a secret landing strip, a delegation from Exetonia Minor landed in Anapest to begin peace talks with the nation and bring an end to the hostlities between the two nations. Exetonia will likely be seeking compensation from Anapest for the ammunition used, loss of life and the loss to the economy and the stockmarkets (ooc:my economy drooped slightly nd recoverd again by co-incidence) through the Nuclear threat. It is likely though, if this is not possible, the peace summit will come to another amicable sollution. The summit is expected to last three days.

I can't really repay you, I have to cover my damages myself, besides, I tried to bargain with you before the invasion, so I think this gives me a degree of leverage, don't you agree?

also, as for the nuclear weapon, NTET was right, I don't have one in my nation, but there's nothing to say that someone else isn't holding it for me, so don't get complacent, I still have the trump card

"Might I enquire as to whom I am speaking?" questioned John Cotton. "You see, we wish to cease Hostilities with your nation over such a petty affair as one nuke. I have been authorised to forgo the usual compensation for losses by Robert John Powell himself. Now, can we please sit down and talk about this like grown men rather than act like schoolchildren over 1 nuke you may or may not ahve?" He finished.

He then took a seat and lit a cigar. This was not going to be easy but, he was under orders to sign a peace treaty with Anapest and, to maybe invite them to have an embassy.

"My name is Richard Pesta, I'm Alexander's brother and Minister of Foreign Affairs." Richard walks in and sits accross the table from John. "I must tell you, I had to advise my brother not to attend this meeting because of how angry he was. I could see from his earlier outbreak he wasn't in the best frame of mind to talk peace. See, my brother has a short fuse, and invading his country kind of burns the whole fuse, stamps on the ashes, and then pisses on them, if you get my analogy. Anyway, he still holds that he tried to talk things out before the situation got out of hand and that he was unjustly attacked." He knew he was about to play a very risky game, others had been killed for less, but decided to take the plunge. "I'm not sure how true that is, what's your opinion?"

OOC: The only reason I'm posting even though it's secret, is because Exetonia Minor is an allie, and a friend, and I'm shure will allow me to.

The doors of the conference room swung open with a drastic force allowing the site of four Komitee Fur Staatliche Schiserheit (Committee For State Security) to enter along with Konstantin, the head of the KSS. He walked in, taking a seat up. "Now, let's see. Anapest, isn't it true you said you had nuclear devices in your country? Well, before you answer, let's just say you did. Considering he is an ally of mine via the UTA, I don't like him having threats made against him. So, to cease the hostilities from your country the KSS has 'requested' that you allow an inspection to take place in your country, looking for weapons of mass destruction. I have brought an Inspection Force from our home region: Third Space. Now knowing you are a human, and even worse, a holder of a very small nation, you wouldn't have discovered the inter-dimensional world of Third Space yet, but let me tell you, it does exsist. Now, do we agree that you will compensate Exetonia Minor for damages, and you will allow-" He was interuppted as one of the guards tapped his shoulder. Konstantin peared down to his right wrist. A plume of completely ebony achromantic yet ambient field was begining to envelope his body. He knew it had begun.. He quickly stood, instructing a guard to come with him, and one to stay and mediate.

The guard sat where Konstantin had. "Now, we agree that you will allow inspectors from our nation to thuroughly inspect your nation?"

Konstantin watched as he spoke,"It's begun... It's what happens to our species, the Aryans. It appears we're in our final stage of evolution, and loosing the need to have physical forms... Gott help me, I wonder if the Fuhrer has already begun."

As he reached the tent, he clicked enter on the keyboard. The Fuhrer's face was visable, but nothingless.

Reinhard: I know.. It's began for me too, aswell as most of the populace. Let's try and keep it a secret. It appears I'm nearly completely in celestial embodiment or templar state now...

John was enraged. "Shut up you fool. I want peace, and peace we shall ahve. we are not going to force Anapest to do anything. That has happeed already and we do not wish another war. I have been orderd to bring peace by Robert John Powell himself. Now please calm down." He then turned to Richard "I do see where you are coming from but, at least you can see where we are coming from. Now, I am sorry about this intruysion but, now we may be able to begin. Facist Confederacy, please bear witness and witnbess alone to these talks. I will allow no more outbursts like that." With his rant over he truned again back to Richard.

"If i was to say we can offer you $2billion in compensation if you return this nuke, would you be willing to listen?"

The guard bares witness, keeping his eyes on each of the delegates, awaiting word from Konstantin...

As the delegates argue, the guard bursts in,"Sorry. But I'am under strict order from the Fuhrer and I must ask this. Anapest, are you going to allow us to carry out inspections?"

Richard pauses for a moment, this was rather unexpected. He thought he would have a tough time getting anything out of these guys, but it appeared they only wanted peace. That or they had some ulterior motive. He chose to side with the former. "Alright, this was a little unexpected, so I don't think my brother would want me making too many decisions without him." He turned to one of the guards standing there. "Go get Him."

The guard leaves and returns with Alexander Pesta, dressed in full garb. He looks like a cross between an ancient sultan and an English king; decorations hang from his robe and a very elaborate scimitar sits at his side.
"Greetings my lord," Richard says as Alexander walks in.
"What's going on, I told you to handle this Rick."
"Oh, don't worry, I think you'll like this. Go ahead John."

John made it clear to Facist Consipracy that inspections were defiantely not needed before returning to his briefcase and pulling out a pre-written applogy from Robert John Powell which he would read as soon as the new person arrived. This was getting interesting.

"Don't talk a shred of peace with these horrible excuses for human beings!!" Danversian Prime Minister Edward Claron storms in flanked by 2 imperial guards. "I know I'm late but you'll understand why when you read today's headlines! Look!" He throws a transcript on the table, the transcript reads:

A sad day in Danversia today as Emperor Marcus X was assasinated while exiting his plane after returning home from a peace summit this morning. As soon as he exited the plane, witnesses say a shot was fired and the Emperor fell forward down the stairs, a massive bullet wound through his forehead. Reports are conflicting as to the origin of the shot, but forensics experts are working to determine the direction it came from. No one has been apprehended as of yet, but accusations are flying. Different theories accuse Anapestic nationals, Corporagian nationals, and possibly Exetonian nationals as all are involved in the recent events. No group has taken responsibility at this time.
"This is a very sad day, not only for Danversia, but for the entire world," said Axario Prime Minister Aron Christopher.
"He was a friend to many, especially the Church. If his assassin is part of the Church, he and his family will be immediately excommunicated," said Pope Gregory XXII.
"We will do everything in our power to find who is responsible and bring them to swift justice." Prime Minister Edward Claron said as he boarded a private jet headed for an undisclosed location.
Services will begin on Wednesday and will continue through Saturday.
Emperor Marcus X's son, Prince Noah III, will be coronated after the guilty is found according to Danversian law.

John continued. "I now read an official letter from Robert John Powell, President of Exetonia Minor:"

To the ruler of Anapest. My appologies for our recent actions in your nation. Let me be the first to offer this nations condolencies to all thos who ahve sufferd due to this war. It is my deepest regret that i had to resort to such actions after your theft of nuclear weapons however, you left me no choice. Please accept payment for safe return of the last nuke you may or may not own of $2 billion USD.

Now, on to the main point of this letter. Exetonia Minor is willing to help with the re-building of your once glorious nation and further more, is willing to foot the cost of the reparitions. Secondly, we wish to enter a peace accord with your wonderfull nation so that an event like this may never ahppen again. Thirdly, i would like to welcome you to have an embassy at my personal abode and home of the Exetonian Governemt, the Exetonia Minor Whitehouse. Lastly, i would welcome you to become part of the region of Greater Exetonia and hope we could put our shady past behind us and become good friends. We hope to be able to continue to build towards a greater future with you by our side.

"Well, where do we stand?" John finished. "Do you find this acceptable? I'd also like to add my sincerest appologies for this incident and have $7 billion USD ready for you right now in this suitcase to help the re-building of your glorious nation. It is in cheque form. Is this acceptable?"

He then turned to the Danversian ambassador and spoke quite softly. "we are sorry for your loss but must now remain neutral in this conflict. We wish to invite the to talks and i ma sure that the ruler of Anapest ahd no knowledge of these actions It was prpbably a rouge Terrorist network which we vow to take out. We shall declare a day of mourning in exetonia for the loss of Marcus X."

Alexander Pesta was silent for a moment as he was obviously thinking. Richard worried because he knew Alexander had a way with words, a way that their college friends said could "get his worst enemy to sleep with him or get his own mother to kill him."
"I don't know about friends," Alexander started off, "but peace I can do. I agree to all the conditions except moving into your region. I think we can remain on peaceful terms, but I'm quite happy in the region I currently reside in. However, in the future, do not speak for me." He turned to Claron. "Eddie, I'm not gonna lie, I would have liked nothing more than to see Marcus dead. I'm not gonna say if I did or didn't have a part in this, all I'm gonna say is, if you're going to accuse me of this, prove it." Alexander sat down, he had a wicked smile on his face as he folded his arms. "So about this rebuilding, I assume you heard my press release about my new medical program? Maybe you could help me with that as well?"

Edward Claron glared at Pesta. "You did do it, didn't you?" After he made no response, "you're a monster, Pesta."
"I know," he said, "now leave my country."
"Expect a report from my offices later this week," Claron replied as he walked toward his plane and left for home.

KNN Newsflash -

Notable for it's absence from the Anapest summit today is the Karnatkan envoy, after it is reported that Karnatka are boycotting the meeting in protest at Anapest being treated so leniently. The Karnatkan representitive today released this official statement from his mansion in Karnatka Minor:

"It is an atrocity that Anapest should be invited to the table in the summit, yet we be forced to sit around the outside! They should remember that it was our intervention that cooled the conflict down! So if anybody has the right to dictate what Anapest can or can't do, it's us."

The Karnatkan government has given no indication as to whether an ambassador will be present at the summit tomorrow.

I would like to comment on your press release today. What cooled the conflict down was my wishing to talk peace, I was invaded overnight, caught unaware, and suffered heavy losses, after which I decided war would not be the answer. Also, last I remember, you were on our side, were you not?

The KSS guard was quickly escorted out of the conference hall after agreeing rather reluctantly. The guards had to hall him out as he was nearly doubling over, his flesh about his main arteries had begun to peal off down to the skeletal structure, relasing achromantic ambience from the wounds..

After a god nights sleep, the delegates returned to the table including the karatkans. John turned to the Karnatkan envoy:

"We are sorry for excluding you from the first day of talks however, Robert Powell deemed it urgent to sign a peace accord with Anapest. We welcome you to the table to listen to what has to be said."

He then turned back to Anapests leader.

"You finished yesterdays summit saying that you would like us to help you with your medical program. We have no problem this and would be more than willing to lend some medical scientists and a gve you a few billion dollars to get started. As you both are aware, the only reason we went to war with you was your theft of the nuclear weapons and for that we are sorry. (ooc:sorry for the slight godmod of having my troops arrive over night :O ) Now, where do both nations stand with thie peace treaty so far"

"I thank you for the offer, but I have my own scientists. All I need is funding for the laboratories themselves. I would also like to set up mobile labs to share specimens etc between labs. Due to the nature of the program, we will have to equip all labs with extensive Level 4 containment centers for viral work, and we were wondering if you had any Level 4 viral specimens you could give us?
"In short, we accept your offer of $2b, we accept your offer of footing the cost of rebuilding, we accept your terms of peace and offer of an embassy in your borders, but we respectfully decline your invitation to join your region."

"We do indeed have level 4 viral smaples we could give to you for at the moment all we can do is contain them HOWEVER we must insist that we may make 3 checks a year to ensure that the samples are being used for MEDICAL RESEARCH ONLY. Can we come to a deal on this?"

"Absolutely, we plan to set up 6 labs, and you can check all of them 3 times a year. What samples do you have?"

"We curently have, Anthrax, Ibola, Smaal Pox, Mumps and HIV in storage. These are highly contagious and we are frightened of an outbreak. If we send you these samples, would it be possible to secure a deal for any vaccinations that might become avaliable through research?"

He pushed some paper accross to sign a deal.

CLAUSE 3: Exetonia shall pay contract workers from her country to help re-build Anapest

CLAUSE 4: Exetonia and Anapest shall hearby be at peace

CLAUSE 5: Exetonia and Anapest will have a free trade agreement between their nations

CLAUSE 6: Both countries shall open Embassies in the others.

CLAUSE 7: Exetonia will supply several class 4 contagens (viruses) for use in Anapest's medical labs.

CLAUSE 8: Anapest shall allow Exetonia to inspect these facilities 3 times a year. Twice announced, Once, un-announced to check for foul play.

"We only have the Ebola Zaier strain im afraid, will that do?" John was over the moon that the pact had been signed at that this medical research could begin. He gave a slight grin and said as he left "Pleasure doing business with you.

(ooc: fyi: actually Zaire is the most deadly to humans, Reston is a strain that's unique to monkeys. Zaire is very deadly, but only a little easier to spread than AIDS, Reston is as deadly but spreads like the common cold, but as I said, is specific to monkeys.)

"Yes, it was a pleasure." By the Exetonian's smile, Pesta had to wonder if they had an ace up their sleeve. Only time would tell, for now he could start rebuilding.
