Well the 2.357 billion population of the Empire, which is now being kept within strict numerical boundaries so as not to exceed 3 billion, require living space. The colonies that were lost in the 'Forsaken Age' of our history when there was a frantic dash to claim our colonies when the empire became dormant. Now it is back.....back for its land.

Even after a century of dealing with humans, the High King Alicia li'Wye was still sometimes amazed by the sheer arrogance some human nations displayed. Sure, invading some hapless nation was an easy way out -- it reduced one's population and opened up new territory -- but there was only so much space one could conquer. Well, the Kingdom had half a billion people parked into a space [[the size of New York State]], so it was not a very attractive target in any case. Alicia brought up a data file on the Drum Gods Empire, decided that it was covered by the Earthbound Contract, and sent a request to have one of the new geostats watch it for a while.

The Earthbound Contract protected nations from Weyr's advanced weaponry, and from its rain of fire and death, even if those nations did not know it. It did not protect those nations from surveilance by advanced systems placed in stationary orbit over international waters.

Mainly I'm posting something for the sake of posting.

Oh ok. Well things have changed a bit here. I enjoyed doing the Ali G thread while I was Maslawyia.
