Today at approx. 1:30 PM, a seperatist faction known as the global liberation front, invaded the capitol. They have held the army at bay using soviet weaponry like ZSU AA guns and BMP and T-62 battle tanks. The president and the family have been held hostage. These terrorists had also targeted the president two weeks ago. As you recall, the sniper was never identified. He had only managed to wound our leader with a shot to the stomach. The group plans to execute the family at midnight, U.S. Eastern time, unless they seperate from our states unchallanged. Negotiations have been broken, when the group exploded into violence. They shot two newscasters and wounded the chief negotiator. We have now turned to a tactic our country had promised to avoid. We will begin artillary barrages on the capitol. Followed by an armed movement. Our air force struggles to exist, with only 15 attack helicoptors and around 30 MiG fighters. We however do have 6 revolution fighters. We also need armed assistance. Please send support to us. We are in dire need of an army. We are hoping for these "Aggressive Negotiations" will prevail.

In the interest of peace, I urge you to please continue peace negotiations, we ask that you do not open fire on your own people. Please provide a list of known hostages and the rebel numbers.

The nation of Tessen respectfully condemns such action, and cannot support a nation -- any nation -- that chooses to fire on its own people as a method of solving a hostile situation.

Negotiations have been held , and the artillary fire has been held too. Azurbajan's leader's wife and two sons have been released along with all palace staff. The group also agrees to give us another day to decide. They were convinced that kiling the president would accomplish nothing but suffering for both sides. They have apparantly drew their numbers bacl and out of the streets of New Stalingrad. The only hostile occupied buildings are the presidential palace and a nearby hotel. They have allowed our troops to advance into the city and evacuate all civilians. There is now a cease fire in effect for five hours as of 6:00 U.S. Eastern time. Some are even laying down their weapons because of the fact that if they do so within the next five hours, they willl only face 4-5 years in a prison.

((OOC: Azurbaijan, could we say i have an embassy or something in your country, and the rebels attack it? Then I can send in some spec ops. It would be cool.))

Relegovia condemns the use of negotiations by Azurbajan. By falling back on "negotiations" you have only paved the way for further aggressive acts in your nation by your own people, as they will see the government as having a weak spot. The nation of Relegovia urges Azurbajan to think more clearly in future incidents.

Did you actually see the last post? we have negotiated and have even evacuated the capitol. We have also established a cease fire.

We have forces the rebels out of the capitol and the leader escaped with a wound. HThis wound will have to be treated.
