*first and foremost. i'm advancing my nation Twenty years into the future from modern tech in the hope that it might rekindle my affair with this forum, and secondly,*

Archduke V. Delacroix would like to propose a radical new direction for the United Nations organisation to take. A global anti terrorist police force.

the United Nations Anti Terrorist Co-alition (henceforth to be referred to as "UNATCO") would be a large, international force composed of agents from all member nations employed for their exceptional skill in their particular fields. (often head-hunted from SWAT teams, Forensic Investigations, Electronic Crime Beauros and the like) answerable to the United Nations Council

*OOC* Anyone interested? we'll iron out the details once I think there's sufficient attention but this opens up a metric fuckload of RP opportunities for all nations deciding to acnowlege it. first and foremost, Deus Ex Rippofs ^___^ but they'd be a useful tool to have in RP, and you could invent weird and wonderful branches, maybe even clandestine paranormal branches of the org.*

do you have to be part of the UN to take part in UNATCO? is this strictly future tech?

If it is only twenty years into the "future", and there is no space/sci-fi crap, then we will join if it is created. Our Federal Police Agents, called the Stormtroopen, specialize in anti-abduction operations, and are agents would be extremely qualified to lead an international anti-abduction branch. (We use some Third Reich terms, but we are NOT Jew-haters! Just to make that clear...)

Attmittance accepted, Sixth reich. :) tell me how many Stormtroopen troops are being submitted, and how long you wish their active tour of duty to be.

Uniform of UNATCO Officer is: -

One sky blue beret bearing UN logo with text: "UNATCO" (or protective headgear where appr't)

s/ blue shirt bearing UNATCO police badge, Officer's name & rank (format example: "Ofcr. Bloggs" on top left pocket, national flag (or other symbol or flag of choice by home gov't,) of home nation on right arm sleeve

Black trousers or Skirt

Standart issue belt (blk) w/ holster for UNATCO issue Beretta M92fs or APPROPRIATE subsitute at officer's discretion, and at LEAST 3 clips of 9mm FMJ at all times.

Other uniform/equiptment issued to requirements.


OOC: Yes, only UN members, as for it being future tech (2020+) only, I suppose it wouldn't be so bad to admit earlier members. However, as I just founed the organisation in 2020, it'd be a heck of an indiscrepancy, so if you decide to join, please ignore the gaping plot hole ^_~

Law Enforcement is one of the biggest fields on our, meaning that we wish to send a high number to join.

For now we will send 1,000 veteran professionals for active duty, and in a few months NS we will send another 3,000 Junior Officers who will be freshly trained and each will work closely with their assigned veteran.

Around 600 of the professionals will specialize in anti-abdoption operations, 300 in Transportation Secruity, and 100 in Organized Crime. Junior Officers will be assigned by need to professionals.

We ask that they be allowed to carry the GSR36-C3 Assualt-Rifle and the Heckler-Koch Ultimate Combat Pistol.

If you wish to arm your nation's volunteers with firearms other than the norm, you may donate them to UNATCO, and specify who is to recieve them. We will be supplying the force with a main battle rifle, the SA80-A7, as well as the Beretta M92fs at great expense, (as well as various specialist weapons and equiptment) and would appreciate it if member nations could fund the costs of ammunition if the weapons supplied use rounds other than 7.62 or 9mm.

As founding nation, we will provide approximately 4,600 personel. the split will be:- 200 clerical and secretarial, 500 medical, 300 Transport security specialists, 300 organised crime specialists, 500 guardsmen for UN and UNATCO buildings, 1,000 generic SWAT, 1,000 fraud and white collar, 100 internal investigations, 500 training officers, 200 linguists and local liason officers.

We will supply UNATCO with H&K "Ultimate Combat Pistols", GSR36-A1s, and GSR36-C3s (along with the special .44 ammo needed for the GSR36-A1). It should be no problem, as our biggest industry is "Arms Manufactoring".

Given how large and unweildy the NS UN is, I'd sugest making it an independent Treaty Organization, only open to UN nations if you so wish, BUT answerible to a council of member/supporting nations, rather than the UN-proper.
