Eastern Azure Ocean, between Aperin and Greenfields
It was shortly after dawn that the þorr squadron, running up from the south, came hull-up from the fleet flagship, the Cirdani Revolutionary Ship Skiðblaðnir. After that, the combined might of the Azure Ocean and Gulf of Aperin squadrons and the Skiðblaðnir's own powerful battle group sailed Southeast, the ships cutting through the morning mist at a speed of twenty-eight knots, with sprinting-and-drifting frigates on ASW watch constantly rotating around the perimeter of the main force. The mist was cutting down on radar effectiveness considerably, and if it hand't been for the icebreakers patrolling to the North ready to give warning, at this time of year hitting an iceberg at high speed might have actually been a concern; as it was, from the flagship's bridge one could hardly make out the cruiser Viðarr, sailing in close formation less than sixty metres away.
The submarines were already on station, and the surface fleet would be there in less than thirty hours. Patrols would be maintained all around Biotopia (except for the sound bewteen it and continental Greenfields) at a healthy distance from the coast, although no blockade would be imposed, yet. However, an embargo on arms being shipped into ONC-controlled Biotopia would be enforced, and ships stopped and searched if need be.
