OOC: 1 year of Damien Dreadfire

OOC: I've been so busy recently that I forgot that it has been over 1 year since I introduced the character of Damien. It happened on the 8th of September, 2003 to be exact, and since late August of this year I've rarely had time to get on, so let's all wish Damien a happy belated 1 year anniversary.

In my book he qualifies as the most controversial character ever made, and the emotions he inspires are most unique. You either strongly love him or you strongly hate him, there is hardly any ground inbetween. Back around December of last year I killed Damien off and tried to bring in a new leader, but my love for the character and his feiry temper inspired me to write a thread where his wrathful spirit defied the Gods and he was able to return to Earth. Some thought this was n00bish, but without RPing Damien NS was starting to get boring for me.

My time on NS varies due to my schedule, Damien will still be around for a long time, ready to rain blood and death upon all! Mad props go to Pantera for inspiring and influencing how I built this character. And also thanks go to Pantera for thinking up the most infamous last name, Dreadfire.

Happy birthday dear Damien, Happy birthday dear Damien etc etc. So he is one year old now. Are you gonna buy him some toys for his birthday? :D

Dreadfire is cool, keep him in the game.

Um. Happy birthday Dreadfire?

Hes definately interesting, a right headcase, but sane people are so boring arent they? and you have to think out the box to get the best ideas.

As for your RP's; its good thing, they have stayed interesting. I know its been said before, but when is the novel coming? Honestly. Id buy it and I havent read a book for pleasure in way too long.

Id like to dedicate this song to Damien (plays "Iron man" by Black Sabbath)

Official Orange state response:

"Dreadfire seems like a good dictator, bit soft on the killing of any possible traitors, but running an empire like that you have to allow a man a few vices, like honour and presuming innocence until guilt is proven. "

Lord Magius returned to watching more of this Terran TV, it was very compelling.

OOC: The novel is coming slowly but surely. The first 2 chapters are done.

True, a 7+ foot, heavily built Warlord kinda goes against the grain. Some of the most vile people in RL history were either average or below average in height.

Would I be right to guess that the novel is about Damien?

Yes, the novel puts him at the center of the story.

Oh, and I might not be able to type much because I screwed up my right wrist reffing indoor paintball tonight. My wrist hurts lik mad, my middle knuckle is bruised, and I most likely broke my index finger. So yeah, I'm typing with my left hand now.....
